Ecles sooth himself with the small pool Hexel and Lehi built. Ecles knew that it was an awful and tiring day for them but he wanted to see thier full potential when angry.
"I heared that a prophetess named Sienna aided Resh. I wonder if she is willing to see a vision of Hexel's past."
Ecles hummed as he beat with his finger.
Hexel ignored his comment and just wanted to focus on relaxing but their merciless and egoistic teacher kept his yapping.
"It would have been a good idea if she waited for me to arrive. I also heared from someone that Hexel was part of her vision. I bet she got forced to marry someone that is tactless and insensitive."
Hexel washed his hair and rubbed his ample. It got toughen because of the wall climbing. Gladly he got arrowed by those words before and after marraige, thus he can just play pretend that he never heared those side comments. Hexel fully knew that this man is trying to test him.
"I wonder how would she react if I lay my fingers on that hair of... hers." Ecles got cut off when Hexel's sword sliced the air on front of him. Hexel thrust his sword toward the man's chest and said.
"Keep talking and I will slice that tongue of yours. I am holding back because your my mother's long time friend but it turns out that your such a jerk as she said."
Ecles halted his sword with his finger and tapped it to break his weapon. Hexel avoided the shredded pieces of his beloved sword as Ecles broke it without lifting his hand. Hexel scoffed at the sight when his chin got scratched by his own sword. Ecles chuckled and commented.
"I never thought that you would be an overprotective husband. I wonder if those hands used in purging evil had landed on her strands."
Hexel glared at Ecles. His eyes and body reacted as if there was no tomorrow. Ecles avoided Hexel's kick. He collided his sole to kick Hexel's heel that made him tumbling backwards. Hexel suddenly felt like his sight were spinning. His body's temperature reached it's limit. He forgot that his been soaked within the hot spring for too long. Hexel can see the bubbles pooped by his lashes.
Ecles poked Hexel's reddish cheek and said.
"I really hate that face of yours. It took after your father yet your like Tera in many ways. And now you recieved the liberty of being carried in my shoulder like a bear. Good night little Bowden."
Lehi heared the loud splash coming from the men's site. Lehi wanted to check what was happening but their current situation is kind of inappropriate. Lehi glided and leaned on the nearest rock to savour the moment. It was a record breaking for her not to take a bath for three consecutive days. And it's been long since her thoughts recalled Ophir. Lehi cannot even halt the pinching pain coming from her heart. She sighed at the thought that she did not even glanced back at him when she exited the palace before they did. Their last night as well was off since Lehi excused that Urchin will need an attendant since Hexel will be accommodating his wife.
Lehi admitted that when she said those words Ophir would ask her to stay or at least say something sweet like the usual but Lehi only recieved a half hearted nod. When Natlina distributed a flat crystal made of her pearls for communication she secretly negotiated that she does not want to have hers at the moment. Natalina just gave her and hug as she said.
"I still want you to have it. It will come in handy. It will be your choice to contact Ophir or not since he recieved his own. You can also chat with me since it will reflect what i am doing. I wish you the best. Be strong!"
Lehi muttured a short answer and said.
" I am trying but it's hard to do this alone."
Lehi decided to cloth herself and marched out from the spring to see Ecles eating some toasted bird and fish. Lehi surveyed the area and asked.
"Where is Hexel?"
Ecles swallowed his meat and answered.
"In his tent, snoring."
Lehi sat across Ecles and took her own fill.
"So, I heared from Resh that your having some marital issues."
Ecles started as Lehi almost cursed the pervert old man Resh.
"Yup, but its something normal that is why there is no need to dwell on it."
Lehi uttered which made Ecles scoffed.
"Are you trying to convince your self? I am your teacher I can lend some ears as long as it's not time for training."
Lehi blinked her eyes to check if the sadistic and merciless teacher who hanged them on a cliff and volcano is really the one in front of her.
"I appreciate your offer but it's kind of awkward to discuss this with a man."
Ecles seriously looked at her and answered.
"Your saying that but I can see how heavy it is for you. Plus, Cyrus and Evi are concerned about you. I have to report something or those two will grill me."
Lehi pressed her lips together as she tried to convince herself that she will be able to handle it but she knew how it made her vulnerable at the moment. Since Ecles is her teacher it won't hurt to trust him.
"I.. okay.. What do you want me to tell you?" Lehi inquired
Ecles shrugged his shoulders and waited for Lehi to talk. After hearing the situation Ecles frankly pointed as he maintained the eye contact.
"The answer is simple. Your husband realised that he just burried something deep withing him, that he never wished to forget. And by all means, he cannot tell you that his heart bottled a love that was long there. It only means that he realised to whom his heart belongs and by what you just said.. it's not you."
