Once every six months, every small author and book store from all over Korea unites to install a small fair where people can visit and browse through different categories to choose their pick.
These kinds of places were mostly liked by fiction enthusiasts, nerdy students, and those who genuinely have an addiction to books. However, since there was a policy to maintain silence, around the place, not many people came here who didn't have any intention of reading books whatsoever.
The carnival was situated in an open ground with numerous tents and stalls arranged on either side of the pavement. There were numerous lanes with each section of the fete having different categories of books.
The weather was nice for a walk around the place as Jinah walked hand in hand with her boyfriend with her eyes shining.
"That seems interesting...let's have a look." Jinah dragged Haru along toward the store which had books mainly related to botany and plant biology.
Abandoning Haru's hand(much to his dissatisfaction) she began to read the book she found the most eye-catching. Her eyes sparkled with interest making Haru frown.
For a moment his index finger was coated with Red which made the guard nearby sweat in fret. Being the closest awakened he could sense the overwhelming aura conjuring nearby...however, he was extremely terrified to even inform the headquarters.
"Look Haru...we can even cultivate lemon even in summer... " Seeing her radiant smile directed at him, Haru soon calmed down making the nearby guard breathe in relief and realize how his back was already drenched.
"Do you like it?" Jinah blinked before nodding in assent.
Haru took the book from her before placing it into the shopping basket he had brought along. He urged Jinah to look for more which she did enthusiastically.
After getting done with one stall Haru paid for it soon after and went for another one.
Seeing her smiling and enjoying herself this much, Haru knew his decision to pick this place was right.

After two hours of shopping, the young couple decided to have lunch in the cafe located at the far south end of the carnival.
Jinah had already passed by twelve bookstores within these hours and because of that, the shopping basket had already over twenty books loaded.
Haru didn't have any problem holding on to it...however, the fact that the books were occupying most of the space, the handle of the basket was a little difficult to get a grip on.
In the end, much to the passerby's astonishment, Haru could be seen lifting all the books distributed in two piles behind his back without any support. He was utilizing his infinity to do the work while he accompanied his girl, with their hands connected.
The eatery wasn't too big but then again, there weren't many people around so it still felt less crowded when they walked in.
Taking the table by the glass panel from where the outside scenery was visible, Haru pulled a chair for Jinah before she sat down,
"Thank you." Haru was about to take the seat in front when someone approached them from behind,
"Sir, if you don't mind, I would take care of those books for the time being." There stood a smiling waiter with a big basket in his hand.
Haru would have declined the offer since he wasn't bothered lifting them, but it might disturb other guests around so he didn't insist and nodded in assent.
Piling the books in two rows, Haru inched closer to the waiter before whispering in a heavy tone, "Don't let even one of them misplace, you get that?"
Haru was way higher than any S-rank and had a great amount of control over his aura. When he wants to intimidate someone, he can do that without disturbing the others around him.
That explains the reason why the young man facing Haru, seemed pale as a sheet at the moment as he nodded vigorously in understanding.
Haru didn't remain there for long before he returned to the table.
"What were you talking to him?" Jinah asked casually as she put down her phone. She texted her mother that she was fine and asked about her day.
"Just reminding him to keep the books safe. After all, you have picked them so carefully." Haru said that, with no sense of complaint. He admired her enthusiasm toward books and literature.
However, from Jinah's perception, it seemed different which urged her to ask, "Haru...are you getting bored here? We can change location and go somewhere more interesting if you want."
Seeing her upturned guilty expression made him startled a bit before he realized the implication of his words.
"It's not...Jinah, looking at your smiling face is the greatest joy for me. And believe me, I also like these moments which we are sharing, so no, I am not getting bored at all."
Maybe because he wasn't talking much during their venture, which made her believe that Haru wasn't much interested in being with her in the fete. However, as he said, spending time with Jinah, regardless of place or time would always be his greatest joy.
Jinah remained silent for a bit, studying his expression yet she couldn't find any lies in it so with a nod, she conceded, "...if you say so. But let's go somewhere else after having lunch?"
"Haah...well, whatever seems fine to you." In the end, it was their date not a duty. Until Jinah is enjoying herself, Haru is satisfied.
Soon after, a hesitant waitress arrived at their table to take their order.
Jinah had already decided what she wanted to eat after glancing once at the menu.
"Shrimp alfredo with very little garlic and carbonated drink, thank you."
The waiter nodded before turning toward Haru, pausing for a bid being captivated by his looks but soon she stabilized herself and heard his order.
"Chicken sandwich and some orange drink, for both of us. Cut that carbonated one."
The waitress was surprised a bit but like there was no one else in her vision, she nodded immediately with a smile and scratched Jinah's order of the drink and replacing it with orange juice
"I am not a kid..." Seeing Jinah pouting, Haru couldn't help chuckling...however, his smile soon broke down as he sensed something.
'Oh fuck....'
