章節 5: Act 2, Scene 1

(Opening shot of a modern-day Verona, bustling with activity. Camera pans to the Capulet mansion, where Romeo and Juliet are now married and living.)

(Enter Romeo and Juliet, walking hand in hand)

Romeo: O my love, my wife, the day is young, The sun doth rise to usher in our joy. With every dawn, our love anew begun, And each night, our passion doth employ.

Juliet: Sweet Romeo, my heart doth still belong, To thee alone, my love shall never fade. Though time may pass, and troubles may throng, Our bond shall hold, and never be swayed.

(They embrace and kiss passionately)

(Enter Nurse)

Nurse: My dear Juliet, thy mother doth call, And bid thee come to dine with all the guests. The feast is grand, with food and wine for all, And merriment to fill thy heart with zest.

Juliet: I shall attend, for mother's wish is mine, But thou, my love, wilt come and dine with me? For in thy company, my heart doth shine, And all the world fades to insignificance.

Romeo: I shall be there, my love, by thy side, To share in every joy and every plight. For with thee, my heart and soul abide, And all the world is but a fleeting sight.

(They exit, hand in hand)

(Transition to the Capulet mansion, where the feast is in full swing. Camera pans across the room, showcasing the guests and their revelry)

(Enter Romeo and Juliet, arm in arm)

Capulet: Welcome, dear Romeo, to our humble home, And to thy lovely bride, we bid thee greet. Let us raise a toast, with wine and foam, To love and happiness, that shall never retreat.

Romeo: We thank thee, sir, for thy gracious welcome, And for thy generosity, that knows no end. May our love be blessed, in every season, And may we find in thee, a loyal friend.

(They raise their glasses and toast)

(Enter Tybalt)

Tybalt: What ho, Romeo, thou art unwelcome here, And to our feast, thy presence doth affront. Thy family and ours, forever at war, And thou, a Montague, a foe to our front.

Romeo: Peace, Tybalt, let not thy anger boil, For on this day, we celebrate in peace. Let us set aside our enmity and toil, And join together, in love's sweet release.

Tybalt: I cannot, Romeo, for thy family's sin, Has wrought upon our house, a great despair. Thou art a snake, a traitor, and within, The walls of our home, thou art not welcome there.

(They stare each other down, tension rising)

Juliet: Dear Tybalt, let not thy anger reign, For in our love, there is no place for hate. Thy cousin and my husband, are now the same, And we, as one, shall seal our fate.

Capulet: Enough, enough, let not this feast be marred, By ancient grudges and misguided hate. Let us dance and sing, and be not scarred, By petty differences, that we should negate.

(The guests resume their festivities, as Romeo and Juliet share a dance)
