Revenant - The World Below

A world where coming back from the dead is rewarded with banishment to the underworld—a pretty nice underworld, to be fair... except for all the ghouls. As a newcomer to this delightful new corner of the world, our MC finds that life doesn't get simpler when you die. Sure, you might pick up a nifty magical ability and make some new friends, but at what cost? What do you do when every insane ghoul in the Deep Paths and an entire pantheon of gods—or at least their weirdly zealous followers—have it out for you? Before you know it, he's in over his head and an entire city might be at stake. Fortunately, it's not really up to him alone to save it. He hopes, at least.
