Angela hummed a tune as she skipped down the hallway.

"Just another hour before he comes! But for now…."

She stopped right before Arvell's door.

"I should check up on my little brother!"

"Arvell? Big sis's here to check up on you!"

"Arvell, are you there? Are you sleeping?"

Angela put her ear to the door.

"Mphfff!"

Hearing a small muffled cry come across the door, her face paled.

"Arvell! Are you okay?"

"Mphfff!"

Now Angela was apprehensive about his condition.

"Arvell, open the door!"

"Mphfff…"

It must have been her imagination, but she heard the soft cries become fainter.

Sweat began to drip down her brow.

"Arvell, I'm going to get help! Just hold on!"

Angella had no means to enter the room without breaking down the door itself.

She wasn't one hundred percent sure that he was in danger.

The best case was to call her father for help.
