Every chapter of this novel is consistent and full of wonderful descriptions and it also includes plenty of animals, which is a plus. I'm not sure if any other readers feel the same way as me but from reading this novel alone, I could picture the settings in India where animals and colours play a huge part. That's how the author managed to teleport me to another country while reading it at home/work. Well done author, keep it up!!
I can't decide which of the twins I like more :p The world you've built is both intriguing and believable. The characters are actually very well designed and aren't trope-ridden at all. Kudos! Having said that, I personally am not a big fan of using scene-headings such as "XXX kingdom," "20 years later," etc. They are more appropriate for scripts. I'm an oldguard who likes them written out like "Meanwhile in XX kingdom," or "20 years have passed since ~" Not saying you should, but it wouldn't hurt to consider the option.
So far, I love your style so much! It's very descriptive and I could picture the scenarios incredibly well! This book is worth a read, keep up the good work bub! 💕💕
