Nicholas smiled maliciously as he looked at Mira.

It was clear from the fact that he bound her with some sort of super strong rope that he had bad intentions, but this just hit the nail in the coffin.

"What do I have to do with this!? Your grudge is with Alex, not me!"

Mira was naturally angry and befuddled by how she was roped into this mess.

How the hell did she become the target of his revenge instead of Alex??

Things seemed too strange and twisted, it all made no such sense to her.

"You don't get it do you? What's the one thing other than himself that Alex actually cares about in this world?"

Nicholas seemed to be taking his time with whatever he had planned, as he didn't seem opposed to having this long discussion with Mira.
