It was in the middle of the night, and rain was pouring down from the sky. A woman and her son were dragged out of their small house by two body guards. They were instantly drenched from the rain as the two guards pushed them towards the two black sedans parked not too far away from their home. In front of one of the cars stood a man in a black suit with his secretary, who was holding up an umbrella for him. The man coldly glanced at the woman and her son before he looked at the two bodyguards, who instantly proceeded to separate the two.
"DON'T TAKE MY BABY AWAY FROM ME!" the woman tearfully wailed. She desperately tried to hold on to her son as one guard forcefully pulled him away and the other restrained her.
"Mooom!" ten-year-old Han screamed. Tears were running down his face as he clung to his mother as hard as he could, but the guard roughly pulled him away. He reached towards his mother's outreached hands, but they were not able to grab hold of each other.
Han's mother struggled against the guard's hold. She kicked and screamed until finally she landed a blow on the guard's shin. The guard yelled out and released his hold on her. She ran to where her boy was and tried to wrestle him out of the other guard's grip.
"Let him go!" she hysterically cried, doing anything and everything she could to get her son away. She kicked and punched, but it had no effect on the guard. Seeing his mother try so hard to get him free made little Han fought even harder to break free, but the guard wouldn't budge.
Before his mother could continue trying to break Han free, the guard, who she had kicked in the shin, hit her at back of her neck, and she instantly slumped to the ground.
"MOM!" Han screamed over and over again. He could only watch as the guard picked up his limp mother, brought her to one of the cars, and drove away.
"MOM!!!"
"BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP"
Han snapped his eyes open and quickly wiped the tears running down his face. He sniffled and took a few deep breaths to calm himself down. It was the same dream again. Ever since it happened eight years ago, he kept having recurring dreams of when he was forcefully separated from his mother.
Crap, what time is it? he thought as he reached out and stopped the alarm from beeping. He looked at the clock, which read 6:30 A.M. and got up from his bed. As he stood up, the documents on his bed dropped to the floor. He looked at them for a while before he deeply sighed.
It's time.
He quickly picked up the documents and stuffed them into his bag. I'll read the rest later he thought to himself and got ready to attend XI High.
....
"You know what to do," the man said.
Han looked at his father sitting across from him in the car and nodded. They were parked in front of the gates of XI High and going over what was needed to be done.
"You have a year. If you don't succeed, you know what will happen," his father threatened.
Hearing his words, Han clenched his fists and looked down to hide the anger in his eyes.
"Got it," Han bitterly replied.
"Now get out."
Han obediently got out, and the car sped away.
Could've at least dropped me off in front of the school, he angrily thought as he got through the security guards and trekked up the mountain to get to the school.
Other students stared as they walked past him and began to whisper among each other.
"It's the new kid."
"Did you hear, he's the first to ever transfer here!"
"Wonder why he would ever come here?"
"He's hot!" some of the girls exclaimed and giggled behind their hands.
Han chose to ignore them all. He didn't have time to get close and chummy with anyone, and he didn't plan to either. Ever since he was taken away from his mom, he never got close to anyone.
He didn't have anyone who he could call a friend. At his old school, he hung with the usual crowd, but he never got too close to any of them. They eventually stopped trying to get close to him when they saw that he had his walls up and was keeping his distance.
He was going to do the same at XI High. Other than getting close to the girl, he was going to keep his distance from everyone else. He only wanted to finish the damn mission and save his mother. He was a bit worried about whether or not he would be able to succeed because he didn't know how to seduce a girl. He had never talked to a girl before. Although many girls tried to talk to him and tried to catch his attention, he never gave them a second glance. So, he knew nothing about girls and how to seduce them.
Finally, he reached the school grounds. All the other students had already entered the school. He walked towards the school entrance and saw someone standing there waiting for someone or something. As he got closer, he saw that it was a beautiful girl with long black hair, and she was staring intensely at him with her bright amber eyes.
