章節 171: Chapter 171: Sabaody: The Blond-Haired Boy Makes His Entrance

"Boss, it's been a while since we've had any business."

"Hahaha, luck is on our side! Look at that easy target. Let's follow him, knock him out, take all his money, and then sell him off!"

"As expected of the boss, always thinking ahead!"

The two hiding behind the tree roots exchanged malicious grins and chuckled.

Takumi, riding on his bubble car, soon arrived at the bubble park, situated between Groves 30 and 39.

Although it was called a park, it was essentially a massive amusement area.

As Takumi stared at the various rides and attractions, debating whether to enter and pass some time, a silver needle laced with anesthetic flew toward him from behind.

Takumi tilted his head slightly, letting the needle whiz past him and embed itself in the grassy ground nearby.

The two men, hiding in the shadows, were stunned.

"Huh? How did he dodge that? Was that just luck?"

"It had to be luck! Watch me, boss, I'll get him with the next one!"

Without hesitation, one of them grabbed his blowpipe and fired another needle at Takumi.

Takumi turned to look toward where the two were hiding.

Calmly, he raised his hand and caught the second needle mid-air, then crushed it effortlessly with Armament Haki right in front of their eyes.

"We've been spotted! Boss, let's get out of here!"

"Run? Are you an idiot? There are two of us, and he's just a kid. What are you scared of? Hmph! Now that we've been noticed, let's just deal with him!"

"Wait, boss, hold on..." the shorter man, Yous, tried to stop his partner, but it was too late.

Bakk, the taller man, drew a double-barreled gun from his waist and aimed it at Takumi's head. He charged forward, shouting, "Kid, if you know what's good for you, hand over all your money. If not, I won't be so nice."

Takumi: "..."

"Hey, I'm talking to you! What's the matter, cat got your tongue?" Bakk was now only a few meters away from Takumi.

Remaining calm, Takumi raised his right hand, formed a circle with his thumb and forefinger, and blew a bubble through his fingers. The bubble drifted out of the bubble car and floated toward Bakk under Takumi's control.

He was eager to test his new Water Release: Bubble Technique.

"Huh?" Bakk was momentarily stunned before irritation took over. "What, you think blowing bubbles is gonna scare me? You expect that thing to explode or something?"

Takumi smiled slightly. "Actually, yes, it will explode."

"What?" Bakk thought Takumi was bluffing. Just as he was about to mock him further, the bubble reached him, and, with a pop, it exploded under Takumi's command.

"Ah!" Bakk screamed as his body was flung backward, slamming into the tree roots near his partner, Yous.

"Boss, are you okay?" Yous rushed to his side and checked his pulse. With a sigh of relief, he muttered, "Whew, he's still alive."

Realizing the gravity of the situation, Yous quickly glanced at Takumi, who was still looking their way. Terrified, he immediately dropped to his knees, trembling as he pleaded, "Please, sir! We were wrong! We won't do this again! Please, show mercy!"

Takumi ignored him, continuing to ride his bubble car forward.

Once Takumi had left, Yous finally relaxed, wiping the cold sweat from his brow. With a wry smile, he muttered, "Are all young people this ruthless nowadays? Yesterday we almost got done in by that blond kid with the hat, and today we run into another tough one... What kind of luck is this?"

Takumi continued riding his bubble car, passing through the bubble park and heading toward Groves 1 to 29, a much shadier part of Sabaody. This area was filled with human traffickers and slave auction houses.

The auction he needed to attend in seven days was in this very district, near Grove 1.

Just like before, Takumi's presence quickly caught the attention of several traffickers who lurked in this area.

"Hmm, coming here alone? Bold move, kid."

"He's a bit on the skinny side, but that face... could fetch a decent price. Maybe 5,000 Berries."

"Wait a minute, is that a sword he's carrying? Could he be a swordsman? Hey, that sword looks kinda familiar..."

"Give it a rest. Everything looks familiar to you. Anyway, I haven't had any work in a while—this one's mine!"

"Hahaha, no way! I'm taking this kid, don't try to stop me!"

The voices of those around him filled the air, but Takumi heard every word.

Before long, a muscular man with a thick beard stepped in front of him, blocking his path. With a smug expression, the man said, "Kid, you're not going anywhere. Just give up."

Takumi didn't even slow down. With a thud, his bubble car rolled over the man's face, knocking him to the ground as Takumi continued on his way.

"Eh?"

The onlookers were dumbfounded.

The man, whose face had been crushed under the bubble car, let out a pained scream as he lay sprawled on the ground.

He hadn't expected the kid to actually run him over.

Furious, he leapt to his feet and yelled, "You little brat! You're dead meat! I'll make you pay for messing with my handsome face! If I don't beat you half to death today, I'll take your last name!"

"Haha, looks like Dewey's serious. This'll be fun to watch."

"Go for it, man. We won't fight you for this kid, just don't disappoint us."

"Yeah, Dewey, put on a good show! I'm betting on you!"

His companions, no longer interested in claiming Takumi, began to cheer Dewey on like it was some kind of show.

Fueled by their encouragement, Dewey gripped two knives, spinning them skillfully in his hands before glaring at Takumi. Without hesitation, he flung both knives at Takumi's back.

Takumi: "..."

These guys are really starting to get on my nerves.

Takumi was about to retaliate when suddenly, a boy with short blond hair wearing a large hat and goggles dashed out from a nearby alley. In a flash, the boy twirled a long pipe in his hand, effortlessly deflecting both of the thrown knives.

"Huh?" Dewey hadn't expected someone to intervene, and neither had the other traffickers. When they saw who it was, fear flashed across their faces.

章節 172: Chapter 172: Sabaody: Obedient Sabo

"Since you all love bullying the weak so much, why not try picking on me instead?"

The blond boy pointed one end of the long metal pipe towards Diwei.

Diwei's face turned dark as he took two steps back. "Damn it, it's you again!"

The blond boy smirked slightly, glancing at Takumi. In a cheerful tone, he said, "I'll handle things here, you can go ahead."

Takumi remained silent.

That outfit, that appearance...

It's definitely Sabo.

Sabo was originally born into a noble family, and as a child, he became sworn brothers with Luffy and Ace. However, when he first set sail, he was attacked by the Celestial Dragons and was saved by Luffy's father, Dragon.

But when Sabo regained consciousness, he had lost his memory. Under Dragon's guidance, through sheer talent and effort, he eventually became the second-in-command of the Revolutionary Army and its Chief of Staff.

At this point, Sabo still hadn't regained his memory, so he didn't remember Luffy or Ace.

But why wasn't he training at the Revolutionary Army's secret base, Baltigo, and instead came to Sabaody Archipelago?

Takumi didn't believe Sabo was just here for sightseeing.

Could it be that some Revolutionary Army members had been captured, and he had come to rescue them?

If that were true, there was no way they would send Sabo alone. After all, he was only around Takumi's age, so there must be other Revolutionary Army members hiding nearby.

Who exactly accompanied Sabo here, Takumi couldn't be certain.

However, based on how scared this group seemed of Sabo, it was clear they feared him.

With that, Takumi accepted Sabo's offer, casually saying, "Thanks," before riding off on his bubble bike.

"Damn it! Don't you dare leave!" Diwei tried to chase after Takumi.

But Sabo stepped in his way, blocking him. "Where do you think you're going? Your opponent is me."

"Diwei, just drop it. This guy's combat skills are too strong for you," someone warned.

"Yeah, it's not like that blond kid will stay here forever. Just leave it alone until he's gone."

"Diwei, come back! If you push it, you'll only end up hurt."

The air was filled with voices urging him to stop.

Diwei's face turned a mix of pale and flushed, his frustration boiling over.

Sabo added fuel to the fire with a grin, "I think I overheard you saying that if you couldn't take down that kid, you'd take his name."

Sabo turned back towards Takumi, who hadn't gone far yet, and called out, "Hey, you on the bubble bike, what's your surname?"

Without turning back, Takumi replied, "Nakamura."

Sabo shrugged. "He only gave his name. What an odd guy."

He turned back to Diwei, laughing. "Hear that? His name is Nakamura. From now on, you'll be known as Nakamura Diweii. Hahaha!"

Diwei's face twitched in rage. "You blond brat! Don't get too cocky!"

"Hey, Sabo! Stop messing around and get back here!" A figure in a dark green cloak suddenly appeared from the alley Sabo had just emerged from.

"They were bullying the weak. I couldn't just stand by and watch," Sabo replied nonchalantly.

The cloaked figure, clearly agitated, grabbed Sabo's arm and dragged him back into the alley. "You little brat, did you forget why we're here on Sabaody Archipelago? This isn't a vacation! We have a mission, and we can't let our identities be exposed. Keep a low profile and stop causing trouble!"

"Isn't our whole purpose to rescue the oppressed from suffering? Besides, I didn't reveal my identity. They don't even know my name. So, how am I causing trouble? This was all part of my plan," Sabo said with a grin.

"Plan? You brat! What's the difference?" The cloaked figure dramatically pulled down their hood, revealing an incredibly large face. In frustration, they said, "I don't understand why Dragon let you come on this mission. This is your first mission! Just listen to your seniors and behave. If you mess up again, you're off the mission!"

"Come on, don't do that!" Sabo scratched his head, laughing. "Alright, alright, I get it. I promise I'll stick to the plan from now on. Deal? Ivan, I'm starving, can we grab something to eat first?"

Ivankov's expression turned speechless. "Eat, eat, eat! All you think about is eating!" Ivankov bonked Sabo on the head. "Hmph! You've already blown through most of the mission's budget on food!"

Meanwhile, outside the alley.

Everyone stood frozen, watching Ivankov drag Sabo away. No one dared to approach.

They weren't sure what had just transpired, but upon seeing Ivankov's face, several people gasped.

"Huh? Who is that? Why is their face so big?"

"They look familiar, but I can't quite place it…"

"That blond kid got hit by this giant-faced… person, and didn't even fight back? Does that mean this giant-faced person is stronger than the blond kid?"

"Wait, giant-faced? Oh! I remember now! They're the King of the Kamabakka Kingdom!"

"The Kamabakka Kingdom? Where's that? Never heard of it..."

"It's the Kingdom of Drag Queens! That's Ivankov, the Queen of the Drag Queens!"

The murmurs outside the alley reached Ivankov and Sabo's ears.

Ivankov's face twitched. Their expression was so exaggerated it almost looked painful.

Sabo couldn't hold back a laugh, covering his mouth. "Hahaha! You were telling me off, but you're the one who got exposed first."

Ivankov's eyes practically burned with anger. "This is all your fault, Sabo! Watch how I deal with you! Hmph! Where are you running to? Get back here!"

"Hahaha! Maybe if you cover that huge face of yours, you wouldn't stand out so much." Sabo called out, laughing as he ran.

Ivankov chased after him. As they burst out of the alley, they were stopped by a tall, slender man with half white, half orange hair, wearing an overcoat matching his hair colors. He held a wine glass in one hand and wore glasses with one orange lens and one blue lens.

Sabo skidded to a stop in front of the man, adjusting his hat with a grin. "Lightning, did you find out where the captives are being held?"

Lightning, known as Inazuma, was a commander of the Revolutionary Army and a subordinate of Ivankov.

He had the powers of the Snip-Snip Fruit, which allowed him to transform parts of his body into scissors. He could cut through anything, even hard materials like stone, but his powers couldn't harm people.

"Ivankov, catch that brat Sabo!" Ivankov called out.

Lightning glanced at them both, his expression calm. "Stop fooling around, you two. I found out where they're being held. There's a bit of a problem. They're at the auction house by Tree No. 1."

"What?" Ivankov skidded to a halt. "Auction house? What's going on? Weren't they captured by the government? Why are they in an auction house?"
