章節 13: Chapter-13: *Title Locked*
With the combined forces Senju and Hyuga, the information necessary about the drug was found and the forces behind this were found.
Sendo clan.
It was one of the minor clans out there which specialized in making medicine initially. But one day when a ninja was in search of discovering a pain killer but less addictive than morphine, he found out he discovered something he called powder of life.
Initial test came back and it was a miraculous drug.
It slowly turned the body senses off and numbed the pain, allowing for nearly painless surgery, unless resisted. After a while, the powder would make body rapidly generate energy to heal the injury faster.
But...the Sendo clan leader discovered something.
When the drug is filtered once more after adding a chakra animal's urine, it would turn into saigenzai. The first day he used it on a experimental subject, he saw the soulless eyes of the human and slowly researched the drug, discovering it's effects as he plotted deeply to conquer Otafuku Gai.
Why conquer that area?
Monopoly!
It was a known fact that Otafuku Gai, despite working with major clans, still wasn't a part of any specific clan.
If it did, all the authority, money and fame would go to the clan which presides over it.
The dreams of power and authority was enough to entice him but because of his smarts, he didn't immediately jumped the gun.
He slowly started infesting the markets, planting several spies in clans and with a few favors, become a rising clan in the area without gathering much attention due to misinformation and much anonymity.
After some time, The ninja who discovered the drug was killed and his history was written off as creator of the infamous drug Saigenzai in eyes of Sendo clan.
Of course the Senju and the Hyuga didn't know the whole story. They just knew which clan to deal with and which direction to look in.
After a few more discoveries and they made a recon team and sent off to get more details.
After a few days, they returned and brought in few people who were the members of Sendo clan who they tortured further for information.
In a few days, more and more information was collected but the rabbit hole wasn't ending at all.
Ninjas pointed out in each others directions. No one knew what was going on.
Tobirama and Junichiro were going mad from the problematic mission.
They expected this mission to last a few days but weeks had already gone by without much progress.
Finally after losing some patience, Junichiro sent off an attack squad towards the main hall and killed a few members of Sendo clan, sending Otafuku Gai in curfew and the ninja police of the town started searching for the attackers.
The items recovered from the dead body was just a token with Sendo clan's symbol on it, drove both the youth crazy from curiosity as well. The reason behind it? It had a complex mechanism behind it, making it similar to a key of sorts.
After another week passing by, they found out about a man who talked about the mission of Sendo.
He was quickly captured and tortured for more information which revealed the looks of Sendo clan leader.
the hunt was finally initiated after confirming his location and keeping a strict eye on it.

Finally!
After so long the mission was on verge of completion.
The weeks worth of thinking and planning had finally brought fruition.
We found the Leaders lair and now both Tobirama and me were personally leading our respective army there, which would be our cue to go home.
I stretched with a sense of relief and just wore the battle uniform, getting ready for the battlefield.
After wearing the armor, I headed out, running towards the Lair hidden away in a small forest area near the Otafuku forest.
After infiltrating the forest, we immediately sent a few ninjas to survey for the signs and look for a secret door or entrance.
After searching for a few hours, the door was discovered and attack team went in first along with the leaders of the group, Me and Tobirama.
After searching the lair for a while, a few ninjas were affected by the drugs which called for gathering back.
A whopping 10 ninjas were missing from the group of 40 ninjas. The notion of 25% forces gone in a blink itself was scary.
"Be careful everyone. The drugs were their speciality. Let's not ru-" Tobirama said as he heard an intense scream.
After sending a recon ninja, he discovered that the clan members of Senju and Hyuga were burning from a jutsu.
Enemy!
Hearing this, they immediately sent a group of ninjas after the problem as they followed them, deep inside the circle formation for maximum protection.
After a while, they discovered the dead bodies of ninjas, completely burnt.
'Prepare ninjutsu for offense and defense. Squad 4, Ambush enemy.' Junichiro secretly signaled as everyone started gathering their chakra as they proceed.
Suddenly, a few dead ninjas got back up and started attacking the group from behind as a giant fireball came from the front.
Because of the preparation, the enemy attackers were prevented from ambushing us and, the fireball was avoided by a water jutsu but now the steam produced was covering the whole room as the formation started breaking slowly.
Hyugas activated their Byakugan instantly and started hunting the ninja but after several attempts they failed there were a few ninjas hidden inside the mist who were hunting them as well.
Only after the mist cleared out, the clan leader attacking was discovered, who already claimed 8 lives.
"How pitiful. Now everyone must die because you know my face-" He tried saying but I jumped the gun and immediately attacked him, not letting him even talk.
"Didn't ask." I said as he went straight for the kill by attacking his neck tenketsu, hiding my intent by throwing 4 fients, planning to close them.
He was able to dodge but next moment started smiling.
Because of Byakugan, he saw what was going and immediately turned to respond.
Someone had betrayed him.

Also Warring States Era is violent and mysterious as f*ck. No one knows much about anything except senju-uchiha bickering. I doubt that was the only reason why that era was wild.
