All of a sudden, she saw the very same car she'd been dropped off from on her first day. Two girls were dragged out, and once Anastasia's blue eyes landed on those familiar empty dark ones, a cold chill ran down her spine. 

Avery was dragged out by Samantha's henchmen, alongside Eve. Their appearance at the factory had caught Anastasia off guard; she didn't even know how to react to seeing them, especially Avery.  

She'd thought that leaving the house meant she was finally free from Avery's twisted displays of madness, but life had other plans. It seemed like no matter where she went, Avery's shadow loomed, a constant reminder that freedom was still out of reach.

If they were brought to the factory, it only meant they were going to be surrogates too. 

Anastasia couldn't picture seeing Avery pregnant and looking normal. She was sure the girl would stab her very own stomach if she wasn't watched.
