Mr. Sinister
Truly the mutant nation of Krakoa is such a goldmine for my research. I have unimpeded access to all the DNA I could ever desire, and now I'm even praised for my work. It reminds me of that time I used to work with those other imbeciles. While their intellect couldn't compete with my own, they did lend some help to one of my greatest projects. Speaking of I noticed as one of the fruits of that project entered my lab.
"I thought I informed all of you to not disturb me, unless it was something important. Unless this is a message from the Quiet Council then leave," I said while continuing to write in my journal. This journal filled with the equations and formulas needed to create an all powerful mutant warrior, loyal only to me. I've been working on it since my alliance with Orchis finished. I'm still missing something, though I'm almost positive it's just a specific mutant gene.
"I apologize Mr. Sinister, but I thought you would be highly interested in some news from outside of Krakoa," said the Rooter captain. The Rooters was a team of mutants I created to be the ace up my sleeve.
"Tell me then, and be fast about it. You waste my time," I said with a look of disgust as I turned to my stasis pods. There were about 8 of them. Four contained my latest attempts for my ultimate weapon, while the other four contained Moira clones. I loath to admit that I owe Mephisto for the information about Moira. Thankfully my deal with him was rather tame.
"The Orchis Facility at the New York Bay. Another prison break attempt was made," said the captain. I scoffed. There were many prison break attempts. So many wasted soldiers and subjects. Though that one was interesting. I shouldn't have left him behind with the others
"But this time it was successful. Somehow one of the prisoners was able to create a device able to deactivate all the technology in the facility. The facility has recently started only using sentinel guards, so there was basically no resistance," said the Captain. I turned to him with some interest.
"So subject XI finally achieved a successful breakout? He was always really an excellent escaping artist . While never truly successful he was the only mutant that could always manage to break out of his cell, even with his power weakened. He also survived all the punishments for trying to escape. Obviously he took the lessons I gave more seriously than the others," I mused to myself. Though I noticed the Captain tense for a second. I raised an eyebrow and motioned him to continue.
"I'm sorry to tell you that it wasn't subject XI that performed the prison break. It was subject X. Our information is currently limited, but it has been confirmed he broke all the mutants out after creating some kind of EMP device. It's been over a month," said the Captain.
"Subject X you say? Now that's interesting. He and Subject XII were always the runts of my successful experiments, especially when compared to XI and XIII. To hear he has survived as long as he has, and to preform something so impossible is interesting," I said while massaging my chin.
"How many mutants managed to escape?" I questioned.
"250 mutants, most of which have are associated from projects not associated with you, during your time in the facility. Though Subjects X, XI, XII, XIII, and the Proto Rooters all seemed to have made it out alive. All of which are under the age of 18. With only subject XI and XII being 18," said the Captain.
"Tell me. How long before he and my former experiments arrive on the island. I could always use a fresh sample of mutant DNA and reuniting with my old subjects may give me some new ideas," I said. The Captain simply shook his head.
"I'm afraid that the mutants decided not to come to Krakoa. They were given an offer to join Spider-Man, and accepted it. Currently they are living in a temporary housing in Parker Tower, which will soon change as Parker has been renovating the old X-Mansion," said the Captain. I felt a pang of annoyance pass through me.
"That is not exactly optimal. All that knowledge wasted on Parker, he wouldn't know what to do with it. Though I can work with this. I have invaded the X-Mansion secretly many times before, and capturing Parker is something I've done too. Though maybe a different approach would be preferable," I said aloud. I turned to the Rooter Captain.
"Do you have any details about Parker's defenses? I know he is an interoperable Buffon, but he is also capable," said Mr. Sinister. The captain shook his head.
"I'm sorry to say we don't have any information about the Parker defenses at this time. Parker was designated as a low tier enemy and was never in any of the files you provided from the Lazarus files," said the Captain. I took a few moments to mull over some ideas.
"Firstly I want you to update Parker's tier to high tier. His resources, intelligence, and connection to my experiments deserve to be noted. Then I want you to inform your team that I have a mission for them," I said. I placed my journal into a desk drawer.
"What about the restrictions about leaving Krakoa?" Asked the Captain. I let out a chuckle. The idea of being restricted in any way was amusing to me.
"Oh please dear Captain. Don't tell me you think I haven't found a way off the island without detection? I figured that out on the same day I arrived. It's also how I can keep this area undetected," I said. I then pointed to the door. I watched as he quickly left in search of his team.
"It appears as if fortune favors Sinister once again. Soon enough I may be able to reclaim my old masterpiece. If he has aged properly then he may still be of some use," I said as I began to leave my lab. I should keep up public appearances for now.
Benjamin
When I woke up this morning I was ready for another boring day. The past month has gone by so slowly as there isn't anything exciting to do. I mean there's the game room and helping the Parker Enterprise test the R and D experiments, but otherwise it's dull. I've basically been passing the time by hanging out with Alien Force, though Cooper has been leaving a lot recently, or talking to Albedo. I've also tried getting in contact with Ben, but he keeps rejecting my advances.
I haven't had many interactions with Peter this past month, but he has been busy. As CEO he has been setting up plans to help give Myself and the other mutants a proper home that is safe and will grant education. As well he has had to deal with several supervillains attacking the city. Finally he just hired a new secretary he had to help train, her name is Sophia Sanduval.
So imagine my surprise when I'm woken up at two in the morning by Peter and forced to join the Alien Force team in a helicopter ride to some unknown location. I am so tired and hungry. I can't help but envy Albedo not having to feel hunger or exhaustion right now.
"Yawn. So anyone actually know where we are going?" Asked Kevin as he rubbed his eyes with his free hand. He was sitting next to Manny who had fallen asleep after falling into a seat, so Kevin has to work in order to not let Manny fall onto him.
"Maybe this is the beginning of our hero training," offered Gwen. She was sitting across from Kevin. Her eyes were red from Exhaustion and she looked liked she hated life right now.
"I don't think that's it. If it was you and I wouldn't be here Gwen. Remember Parker told us he couldn't help us learn magic, so he would have a friend help," said Hope. She looked the best of everyone here. Her eyes dropped every so often, but she was keeping herself awake.
"All I know is that it better be important to wake me up so early. This can't even be considered morning," exclaimed an angry Pierce. His sister put a placating hand on his shoulder.
"Come on Pierce you know Peter has treated us well. Expecting the worst of him isn't fair," she said softly. Pierces eyes softened a bit, but he did lean back and grumble to himself.
"Hey has anyone seen Cooper?" Asked Alan as he looked around. Everyone started glancing around and noticed the missing person.
"Did we leave him behind? Or was he included?" I asked everyone shrugged their shoulders. I noticed Albedo on my shoulder looking at me with a smug expression.
In the past month the two of us have become a lot more cooperative. He began instructing me as a teacher, while I helped him pass the boredom of being a spirit no one can see. Though whenever I was busy with someone else he would disappear somewhere. I'm going to assume it has something to do with where we are going. Everyone spent the remainder of the flight talking about where we are going. Kevin woke Manny up after we had finally arrived.
"Hey guys how are you doing this beautiful night?" Asked Cooper as he opened up the helicopter door.
"Cooper how did you get here?" I asked. Cooper ignored me as he motioned for us all to follow him. We did and found ourselves at the base of a manor. My jaw dropped. I heard Kevin whistle.
"Is this what Parker was working on? Gotta say it looks nice. On the outside at least," Kevin said with an appreciative glance.
"Only on the outside? Well let me show you the inside then. I haven't worked as hard as I have to have my work questioned," said the voice of Peter from behind us. We turned to see him walking towards us in his Spider-Man suit, minus the mask.
"Peter isn't this one of the times you go out to patrol as a hero?" Asked Gwen. Peter simply waved her off.
"Normally yes, but tonight is a little special. See this huge place is your new home, and I wanted to be here to personally introduce you all to it," he said with the excitement of a child. He was visibly shaking and slightly jumping on the balls of his feet.
"You seem extremely proud," said Hope. Peter nodded his head with great enthusiasm.
"I am very proud. This place used to be the home of some of my greatest friends ever, but they've changed a lot. They abandoned it for Krakoa," said Peter as he calmed down slightly.
"Wait are you telling us this is the X-Mansion?" Asked Manny as he pointed a hand at the building.
"I wouldn't call this huge place a manor. Feels more like a Medieval Manor," I said. Peter started scratching his head.
"Yeah this used to be the X-Mansion," Peter said with a glint in his eyes. I thought he was in his own memories.
"Didn't the place get attacked like all the time?" Questioned Pierce. Peter hesitated before answering.
"Yes, but I did a lot of upgrades and renovations to improve the place. I also had Cooper help out with his technological prowess," said Peter. Cooper decided to step forward.
"Guys, trust me when I say this place is extremely safe. I input every person who can be allowed here in the system myself. As well I created the AI that'll help with the defenses," Cooper said proudly. He was puffing his chest out. Wait a minute?
"Did you say you created an AI?" I asked. Cooper nodded enthusiastically as he started to push us all to enter the Manor.
"Well all of you, welcome to Parker Manor," said Peter as he opened the doors. As I walked in I couldn't help but compare the place to the many versions of the X-Mansion I've ever seen. The closest comparison I could make was the X-Men Days of future Past Movie. Though there were three additional floors, an elevator near the stairs that only goes to the various basements, and technology I didn't recognize scattered around the place.
"I have to admit that this realities version of Cooper and Parker are highly capable. This is a decently defended home that will be hard to break into," commented Albedo. I glanced at him for a second before ignoring him. As everyone moved into the Manor an AI that looked like a young Magneto.
"Everyone I would like you to meet Max," said Cooper with pride seeping into his voice.
"Hello everyone, my name is Max and I will be the one to help improve your living conditions. If you ever need assistance, please feel free to contact me," said the AI. I looked at Cooper.
"Why did you choose a young Magneto?" I asked. Peter with slight surprise.
"How do you know who that is?" He questioned. I froze for a second, but was saved by Kevin.
"When we were in the facility we were given a special education by the scientists. We gained the standard education one would learn in school, but we also learned much about various powered individuals," said Kevin. Peter seemed curious.
"Then why didn't you know much about me?" He asked. Nobody wanted to answer the question. Eventually Helen stepped up.
"Well we knew of Spider-Man, but you were deemed to low of a threat to watch out for," said Helen. Peter seemed to Slump.
"Oh come on. I've saved the world and New York more times than I can count," he complained. As he sulked Cooper decided fl change the conversation.
"I chose Magneto as he is one of my favorite superheroes," Cooper admitted.
"Can Magneto really be considered a hero?" Asked Manny.
"When he is a hero he is my favorite," Cooper defended. I always surprised to see the fire in his eyes. I decided to insert myself in the conversation.
"Personally I always had a preference to Spider-Man, as embarrassing as that is," I said looking away from everyone. I felt all eyes on me as a blush crept onto my face.
"Ahhhh. You're my favorite person here," said Peter as he put an arm around me.
"I had a love of the Hulk. Big strong guy who doesn't take anything from anyone," said Manny as he started animating his feelings with motion.
"That's a boring answer. I like the Scarlet Witch. I mean she managed to overcome adversities others crumbled at," said Hope.
"I used to like Dr. Strange but the Illuminati stuff turned me away. Currently I'm indifferent to heroes," said Gwen.
"Ive always been indifferent to heroes," said Kevin.
"Same here," said Pierce.
"I like Captain America," said Helen with a slight blush. She seemed a bit embarrassed.
"Excuse me all but I believe you were trying to do a tour of your home, and Mr. Parker you have a schedule to uphold," said Max.
"While he is right there is one more thing I would like to show you all, before doing a proper tour. Someone go touch Max," said Cooper. Everyone looked confused.
"Isn't he an AI Hologram?" I questioned. Cooper just pointed at Max. I sighed and moved to touch the AI. As I did I felt my hand touch a solid object.
"Wait what?" I exclaimed as I kept touching Max. Everyone behind me seemed just as surprised.
"I'd like you to see my first proper invention. The Solid Hologram. It allows an AI to project a form that can interact with the world. Max will act as the houses protector, cleaner, friend, etc," said Cooper.
"So you were actually able to complete it," Peter stated. Cooper nodded. They started having a conversation about the new tech, something about a personality, but I couldn't track it. I yawned.
"Alright as interesting as this is can we continue the tour? I'm really tired and would like to get some more sleep," I said. Peter and Cooper both rolled their eyes.
"Alright fine. Max please start the tour," said Cooper. Over the next hour everyone slugged behind the AI to explore the house. By the end of the tour I was leaning on a wall to keep myself up, and it seemed like other than Peter and Cooper the others had to do the same.
Even as tired as I was I had managed to memorize the layout. From the entrance you land in the entrance hall, where going right you have the living and game room. Going left lands you in the kitchen and dining rooms. You then have an elevator that leads to 3 layers of basements, or stairs that lead to the second floor which hold the classrooms. The basement levels go as such, level 1 danger room, level 2 panic room, level 3 escape room. Floor 3, 4, and 5 all are all living quarters, with girls being on floor 5.
"Peter can we go back to the tower now? I'm so tired I'm barely able to keep myself standing," I said while trying to rub the sleep out of my face.
"Really guys? Shouldn't you all be a bit more excited?" Questioned Cooper. I gave him a slight glare. Everyone else wanted to, but they were all too tired themselves.
"Cooper we will be a lot more impressed and thankful after completing our sleep cycle. We just gained a normal sleeping habit and would like to very much keep it," I said. Peter then stepped forward.
"Alright I get it. Maybe bringing you guys here so early would've been better with some preparation for you all," said Peter. I gave him a stupid look.
"You think?" I questioned. Peter gained a grin on his face as he approached everyone.
"So you will not be returning to Parker Enterprises as you now live here. As you're all so tired I will get with you when I return tomorrow…. I mean later today. Anyway go choose a room of your choice and then I ask Max to key you into the room. That way all you need to do to enter the room is use a scan of some kind," Said Peter. I looked to the sky and thanked Stan as I would finally get some sleep.
Everyone separated to pick a room. I chose to be at the 3rd floor next to the stairs. I saw the room was packed with basic essentials, a bathroom, a mini fridge, and a large tv. I would've taken more time to appreciate it but I ended up crashing out on the bed. I expected to go to the realm of dreams.
Ben Tennyson
Oh man. When I was brought out for another combat test I was expecting having to face more robots, or test out some new weapons. I wasn't ready to deal with a berserker Kevin. He was some monster hybrid of all my current forms.
"Doofus get your head in the game and move!" Shouted Gwen to me. I noticed that currently she was creating a shield to defend herself from Kevin's constant barrage of attacks. Hope was off to the side, unconscious from a prior attack. To be honest I wasn't doing that much better, and Gwen didn't look so hot herself.
"Oh lovely Gwen, your energy is such a delicious feast to snack on. Give me more!" Shouted Kevin in his madness. I quickly began running towards him, feeling my body shift to one of my ace transformations.
"It's hero time!" I said as in my four arms state slammed myself into Kevin. I managed to send him tumbling away, but with Stinkflys wings he adjusted.
"Oh please Tennyson. Your no where near my level normally. What makes you think you can take me, when I'm like this?" He questioned with a crazed grin. I simply narrowed my eyes at him. Kevin gave an amused shake of his head before charging at me.
I responded back by charging at him, the two of us clashing fists in the middle of our charge. I was stronger, and sent Kevin back a few feet. However he raised Diamondhead arm and shot crystals at me. I raised my hands up to defend, feeling some of the crystals stick themselves into my skin.
"How many times must I teach you this lesson loser?" Said Kevin. I lowered my guard to look, only to be met with a Heatblast fist. I stumbled for a second, and was met by a flurry of strikes from Kevin.
I was able to throw up my arms in defense, but that inspired Kevin to keep on swinging. Though I felt Kevin starting to grow tired, so I took the chance to land a punch to Kevin's gut.
"Come on Kevin, come back to your senses. I knew you were crazy, but you're not insane," I pleaded. He just gave me a look filled with hate. He tried to send a blast of fire at my face, but I dodged it. I countered by landing a powerful uppercut, sending Kevin flying.
"I guess I just have to knock the insanity out of you then," I said. I leap into the air in order to stomp on Kevin's downed form. However Kevin just phased through the ground, making me slam into the ground.
"Ghostfreak? He always gives me the creeps," I said with a slight shiver.
"Ben behind you!" Shouted Gwen. I turned around, only to have a Heatblast fist grab my face and set me ablaze. I barely stayed couscous, but I lost the ability to hold my form.
"Ahhhe. Come on Benji, I thought you would do better than this. Don't you want to play?" Kevin said as he sent my body flying. However I hit a pink field, and slid down the pink slide. As I reached the ground I found myself unable to move. I found myself a helpless victim, forced to watch the events before me.
"Enough of this Kevin," said Gwen. She put her hands together and created a large construct to strike Kevin, but he just simply absorbed it. Gwen started to panic, and just started wildly flinging her attacks.
"Oh lovely Gwen, haven't you figured it out yet? Against me your abilities are just a delicious meal," Kevin said as he approached Gwen. I tried to get up, but I didn't have the strength. Gwen had her back literally against the wall.
"Now feed me more," Kevin said. He used XLR-8s speed to speed grab Gwen and begin to absorb her power. I could only watch in horror as he began to drain the life from her body. My body wouldn't move anymore.
However as if by some miracle Kevin then began to scream out in pain. He dropped Gwen to the ground and began to hold his head in pain. His screams were horrific.
"I have to admit subject XI, that was impressive. By far you are the most impressive experiment here, but I still need the others. For now at least. So sleep for now," said that man's voice. I could moved my eyes to see that evil man approaching Kevin. He had a remote in hand that seemed to control Kevin.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Screamed Kevin as he slowly reverted back to a human form. He seemed to be unconscious.
"Alright then. Come give them all medical care. Afterwards prep them for the operation," said that pale faced asshole. As I passed out I felt someone pick me up.
Benjamin
I shit up from my bed in a cold sweat. That dream I definitely wasn't a dream, nor was it a memory of my own. I wiped my face and tried to calm myself down. I didn't see Albedo anywhere so I couldn't talk to him. I heard a knock at the door.
"Sir Tennyson, it is time for you to get up. Mr. Parker wants to have a meeting with you and the others. It will occur over breakfast in 30 minutes," said the voice of Max.
"Who is cooking?" I asked.
"I will be. Master Cooper has me programmed to perform all kinds of tasks in order to maintain and assist the household. Cooking was one of the first he went through," said Max. I shrugged to myself and decided to just get ready for the day.
After finishing my morning routine I found myself staring at my reflection. That memory I had, it felt like some things were forgotten, or left out. I gritted my teeth in frustration, trying to force it. But after a few minutes I realized it wasn't even my memory to begin with. I sighed and went to breakfast.
When I got to the table I saw I was the last one to arrive. Everyone was sitting down, scarfing breakfast. It all smelt amazing.
"Hey Benjamin, about time you got here. Sorry we didn't wait, but the food smelt so good," said Peter.
"You snooze you lose Tennyson," said Kevin.
"Hope and I made sure that some food was saved for you," said Gwen.
I sat down and began to eat some eggs and bacon, with a side of toast. This food was absolutely fantastic, above anything I've ever eaten before. I could see why no one waited.
"So as the rotten egg finishes eating, Peter why don't you tell us what you have to say. You made it seem important," said Manny.
"Can we also skip the theatrics this time?" Asked Helen hesitantly. Peter just rolled his eyes.
"Oh fine. Take all the fun out of it," Peter said dramatically. Everyone chuckled.
"Alright guys listen up. Pretty much every Mutant from the facility has approached me at some point asking me to be a hero. I have agreed to help, but we'll do this my way. Firstly anyone who wants to start hero training needs to be bare minimum 17, and they need a G.E.D or higher. You all are the only ones who qualify due to…." Peter trailed off. Everyone looked a bit awkward at that. The Alien Force Group gained a proper education during all experimental phases for some reason.
"Anyway as such I have been devising a way to help you all train and develop as heroes. At first I planned to have you all just join me, but with such a big group that wouldn't work. I called in some friends who will arrive soon to help some of you with your training," said Peter.
"Wait you're splitting us up," said Pierce from his seat. Peter looked him in the eye as he responded.
"Yes. You all have experience in using powers and combat, but not saving people and rescue. In such large groups people could be missed, and I can't risk that on any of your, or my own, conscious," Peter said Solemnly. We sat in silence for a bit. I decided to break the silence as I finished eating.
"So who are we going to be going with?" I questioned. Peter gave me a beaming smile.
"Well you Benjamin are going to be staying with me. I'm familiar with several heroes and villains who transform, and I have the resources to support you where you are needed. Also from what others say we should click in terms of personality," Peter said jokingly at the end. I just gave him a smirk.
"Hope and Gwen will actually be joining the Strange Academy, ran by a former sorcerer supreme, Doctor Voodoo. as I said earlier you have magic and that's the best place to learn. Doctor Voodoo also was a hero for a time and several teachers in the school have the knowledge needed to help you along the Magic hero gig," said Peter. Gwen and Hope gave each other a high five at being able to stay together and get cool training.
"Alan you're going to be training with the Human Torch, the original one not the Fantastic Four one. His powers are similar to your own and he can assist you. Also he is an android who fought alongside Captain America in WW2 so he has a ton of experience," said Peter. Alan practically beamed.
"Kevin I had to call in a favor. You will be trained by Thor in Asgard. He has a lot of experience fighting someone with similar powers to you. He also has a slightly similar idea to fighting to you. Also you might get some help from other Asgardians," said Peter.
"Sick," Kevin said simply.
"Cooper you will be training with Hank McCoy, otherwise known as Beast. He has agreed to leave Krakoa for a time to help you train," Peter said.
"I've heard so much about him. He's one of the top 10 smartest people on the world. I wonder how he'll feel about my projects," Cooler said fanboying out. I gave him a small smirk.
"Manny I have you going with Bruce Banner, Aka The Hulk. He is creating a team of his own called the Agents of Smash and you will benefit from being in a team like that," said Peter. Manny gave a fist pump in excitement.
"Oh yeah. With the Hulk as a teacher I can be unstoppable with my strength," Manny boasted.
"Pierce I have you going to the Defenders, specifically to learn from Iron Fist. He can instruct you on proper combat," said Peter. Pierce gave a smirk.
"Finally Helen you will be going with the Scarlet Witch, who is taking a temporary leave of absence from the Avengers. Her brother has super speed, so she has the knowledge on how to help your training. Plus she is extremely strong, so you'll be safe," said Peter. Helen was practically jumping from her seated position.
As Peter finished explaining everyone's destinations a knock was heard at the front door. Peter went to greet them. When he came back he had the various mentors with him.
"Well speak of the devil and they shall appear. After breakfast I suggest packing a bag to last you for a while. Training will last 6 months, after that you and your mentor will decide where to go from there. Hero uniforms will be provided, though they are a little bland right now. They are some black leather X-Men uniforms that I worked on," said Peter. I can't wait for to be a hero.
so this was meant to be finished earlier and be longer but I got sick. I’m feeling better now though.
