A few changes happened that day. Akiro said that Erik would be leaving with them to go back to the South Village but they separated ways for they have to avoid Erik's parents to see them together.
It'll be much safer to keep their identities by traveling separately. Before leaving Erik and Irene, Akiro gave a bag of gold coins as payment for the carriage they would be renting.
Upon reaching the White Castle Hotel which Akiro chose to teleport in an alleyway, the two of them started packing up early.
Luna regretted taking out all of her things from her luggage. Their stay in White Castle Hotel was much shorter than in the Red Castle one.
His reason was he needed to investigate more into Erik and Irene's suspicious backgrounds. Even the person themselves wasn't very much aware of their current situation.
Also, his next task would be coming sooner or later so he wanted to do things quickly.
Since Akiro would be busy, he plans to task Luna to practice several spells alone, learn how the people in Magus Nation use magic, and to defend against it. Although he didn't know if some of it will be of use, it's much safer to make Luna defend against others if the need arises than be clueless about it.
One more thing, Akiro won't be at peace knowing that Luna would be just idling.
But..
If Luna heard this, she would just roll her eyes and be more productive than ever like finish making her products that would only be possible with magic and a little bit of scientific knowledge.
Although deep in her heart, she's that motivated because Luna has been missing her favorite food that's nonexistent to Vermillion. No amount of their desserts could match her favorite food!
The two of them waited outside the entrance of the White Castle Hotel. Usually, the carriage would arrive early but their schedule's changed so Akiro asked the receptionist in the hotel if they could schedule the carriage to arrive today.
Fortunately, the last ride of their scheduled carriage which was the hotel's carriage for their customers has no ride after this afternoon which Akiro agreed to wait for it.
Although he has personal carriages, it would take much attention since most of the higher-ups recognize them no matter how simple it is. He still preferred the carriages arranged by the hotels. In fact, they also used one when going to Red Castle Hotel and it's covered in their overall expenses there.
Nonetheless, he always gave them a small tip.
A bag full of golden coins.
Akiro thought there's nothing wrong with giving them money. It's just his way of appreciation and payment to the hardworking men riding the horse carriage all day long.
Meanwhile, Luna who's waiting for the horse carriage, was silent. There's no doubt her mind went traveling again.
Luna's wondering if she'd set aside the lightning element and choose the water element and learn the secondary ice element. Nonetheless, it would probably take a long time.
If she could only find someone who knew how to use an ice element.
"Right!" Luna uttered.
Akiro almost jumped at his position.
"What?" Akiro said.
However, Luna shook her head and went back thinking.
'I think I knew someone,' Luna thought.
Luna chose to think about it when they reached Akiro's mansion. That's where she'd be sure if her plans will work.
In the midst of her thinking, Akiro watched her mumble and nod her head.
Who knew what's going on inside her mind?
As a person who grew in a different world, Akiro couldn't guess what's she's thinking.
It didn't take long for the carriage to arrive. Akiro knew it wouldn't take long as they wouldn't be waiting outside the hotel and sit in the lobby instead. They waited to their rooms and went down when the expected time was near.
Inside the carriage, Luna was still busy with her thoughts and even took out a small note pad and write some words with important things in capital letters.
No matter how much Akiro peeked into the notepad, it didn't make sense but it doesn't seem like that for Luna with all her attention into it.
He couldn't just ask her and instead thought of his mountain of works.
Thus the carriage seemed no one was inside with the two of them not minding each other.
Those two wouldn't even try to strike a conversation with each other aside from work-related problems..
With their busy minds, time quickly passed, and already reached the mansion. The horse carriage stopped at the door entrance of Akiro's mansion and paid the man with a bag full of golden coins as usual and left without saying a word after picking up their luggage.
The man riding the horse carriage went stunned but left before Akiro change his mind.
Miss Zione with her usual cold disposition, welcomed them with a short greeting while the man opposite of her talked like a chatterbox.
"Luna! While you're away, the mansion's been a bit lonely. Anyway, I have more to talk with you," Ryle said.
The moment Ryle finished saying that, he took Luna's wrist and brought her to the living room but Akiro immediately called him.
"Ryle! I still have to talk with Luna," Akiro said.
Ryle stopped, let go of Luna's wrist, and looked at him with a bizarre look that Akiro frowned as a response.
"Is that it? Make it fast!" Ryle said.
Akiro gazed at him with a suspicious look for a second and faced Luna.
"Luna, I'll have to borrow your note pad for a bit," Akiro said.
"For what?" she asked.
"The task I'll give you while I'm busy with work. You have to practice alone for several days," Akiro said.
Luna handed it to him after knowing her reasons but flipped it to a blank page at the back to make sure. She thought Akiro might steal her ideas but didn't think that Akiro didn't even understand it.
She also gave him a pen but he insisted and flicked his fingers. A pen appeared.
Once again, Luna mentally rolled her eyes.
Akiro wrote at a fast pace that Luna peeked silently and was surprised that his penmanship was beautiful despite writing quickly.
'What a convenient skill!' Luna thought.
"This will be your task," Akiro said.
Luna took it and skimmed its contents. Some were book titles and even specified the page of a book. He really couldn't be underestimated for he didn't even hesitate for a second if it's the right page when writing rapidly.
"No worries, I'll do my best!" Luna said.
Then Akiro faced Miss Zione. "We'll have visitors today. They're kids with silver hair color. Remind the hidden guards to open the gates for them. They'll show them my seal," he said.
Miss Zione nodded and quickly left them.
Meanwhile, Luna's face twitched. 'Talking so casually?' she thought.
But she concluded that he trusts Ryle and her since he openly talked with them. For all she knew, hidden guards wouldn't be called one if many people came to know them.
"Finished already right? I also have to talk with Ryle," Luna said.
Both of them were stunned but a smirk formed into Ryle's lips for a second and deliberately showed it to Akiro.
Akiro just frowned at him and quickly turned into a blank face.
Luna first picked up her bag upstairs which Ryle suggested to help but she insisted and told them to meet up in the living room after.
Ryle nodded and left to do something while waiting and Akiro went upstairs to his study room and started his busy work.
