The white-haired person Domhall said earlier rang a bell for Ellaine. She felt her heart skip a bit as she wasn't aware that those two people had encountered already.
She stood up and made a whimpered expression when she turned her body on Domhall who was staring at himself on the mini-fire lake.
"You need to stay away from her, Domhall!" she shouted in panic as fear consumed her body. "I'm currently monitoring her, so let me take care of this, okay?"
Domhall, on the other hand, was busy looking at his facial features as he noticed that his burned skin in his demon form subsided a little bit, but his brows furrowed immediately when he heard how Ellaine shouted at him, and how the sinners who heard her gasped in amusement because of what she did.
In an instant, Domhall turned his head in Ellaine's direction, with his dark and deadly gaze, as he extended his hand with his hand slightly folded— which has enough space for Ellaine's neck to fit in.
"Ah!"
Without Ellaine knowing, she immediately floated from where she was standing, and she found herself going in Domhall's direction, and after that, his hand was already on her neck, gripping it which gave her the fear she never had before.
"Shout at me again, and you won't be able to reincarnate, not even as a cockroach," Domhall told her in a commanding tone as he cracked his neck a bit, trying not to let anger consume his body.
She gulped hard as she saw how deadly the gaze Domhall was thrown at her, and how dark the aura he had all over his body.
This is the first time she saw him have this kind of rage.
Even his imperial horns were sparkling as fire surrounded every part of it, while his other hand was creating an immense power of fire in it. She could even feel the heat of the fire he created, which was the first time she experienced it.
"Ack!" Ellaine couldn't speak as she felt how Domhall's grip on her neck tightened to the point that the air couldn't even reach her.
She almost ran out of breath as she held his arms using both of her hands, trying to beg for her life.
Domhall threw her onto the floor and Ellaine gasped for air while holding her neck. She felt a large decrease in her power as Domhall was unconsciously consuming it.
She forgot that Domhall can even get his source of power on any people, even on devils like her.
Ellaine was in a large daze as Domhall moved his hand again, and in a split second, Domhall had her neck again as he pushed her onto the wall.
Her back hurt a lot because of that, but she couldn't dare to speak even just one word as some of his veins, which were already colored black, showed up on his neck and arms.
"If you want to be my spirit guide for a long time, then shut the fuck up," the King commanded, and his voice echoes all over the place. "I am your king, and you'll just answer my damn questions and not give me your useless advice. I don't fucking need it."
"Y-Yes, my king." Ellaine just nodded.
Domhall could feel her body shaking in fear and pain. He closed his eyes as he let go of her for the second time and immediately went back to his throne.
Ellaine could even hear his feet stomping as the whole place was in silence. Even the sinners couldn't make a scene. They're afraid that they would catch Domhall's attention, so they just stay in their places.
"The majesty may give you the power that you have, but where are you? At my territory," Domhall even added to say as the fire surrounding the inferno went bigger. "This is my place. You're the one who made me like this."
Ellaine thought that he was finished speaking as he placed both of his hands onto his pants, but her eyes widened when Domhall spoke about something she never thought would come out of his mouth.
"On top of that, don't you dare lay your hands on her," he commanded in an intimidating tone. "I'm the one to deal with her."
"Why?" Ellaine stood up even though her knees were weak and trembling. "Why are you being like this— Ah!"
"You're not taking me seriously, aren't you?"
She bit her lower lip as her feet were floating. Domhall wasn't holding him, but his powers were too much she could feel his power burning onto her skin.
When she looked at her hand, her face grimaced in horror as her long, slender fingers were starting to look like a skeleton. And aside from it being ugly in her eyes, the feeling was also painful, as the word pain was an understatement for what she felt.
"One more question and I won't hesitate to snap your neck," he told her before he closed his eyes for a second as Ellaine fell hard on the floor. "Get out of my sight."
After that, Ellaine immediately teleported to another dimension where the majesty is currently hiding. Like her son, Domhall, the majesty was also powerful and had fire as its source of strength.
The only difference was that she was caged onto this place because of that power. So, that power had gone to waste as the only place where she could use it was in this place. This black, quiet, and lonely cage as Ellaine describe it.
"Your majesty." Ellaine kneeled and bowed in front of her.
This is how people like her should greet the royal family except for Domhall. At that time, she realized she wasn't treating him like a king, but she treated her like a friend— which was strictly forbidden.
Maybe she had crossed the line this time.
"Acknowledged, Ellaine." The majesty smiled at her as she moved her hand, commanding her to stand.
"It's been a while since I saw you," she even added before she sip onto her plain black coffee.
Ellaine just smiled before telling her the reason why she went here.
"King Domhall… He was causing a scene," she spoke as her gaze was fixated on the floor. "He met with Louisanna already."
'If the majesty would give me more power to control her son, maybe I could do something,' she said in the back of her mind, but she couldn't say it as she was waiting for the majesty to be enraged by her sentence.
But, her eyes widened before furrowing her brows when she heard what the majesty replied to her.
"Oh, Luna?" the majesty asked as a smile formed on her lips.
She placed her cup of coffee on the black side table as one arm was crossed onto her chest, her other elbow resting on her hand, and her long and sharp black nails played onto her cheek while thinking about who the woman Ellaine was talking to would be.
"Is it the woman with a slim face and white hair?" she asked, just to make sure that the woman Ellaine was pertaining to, and the woman she had at the back of her mind was the same.
Ellaine, although she was slightly hesitant as she didn't know how the majesty knew Louisanna's featured, nodded as she made her gaze glued to the floor.
This is what she always feels every time she's in this place. This place was even darker than Inferno, and that's the time she realized that evilness doesn't exist in one place. It's on the person who was carrying it.
'Did she name herself as Louisanna now? What an interesting name.'
Achyls, the majesty of hell, smiled as she heard about her existence again. It's been a while since she heard that name.
It wasn't even the name she was used to hearing, but knowing that she was alive and kicking after all these years made her sigh in relief, and tremble in fear at the same time.
She knew how useful or dangerous that woman may be since she had been with her for a long time before her power was prohibited by the higher-ups of the heavens in the whole universe.
It's because of how great her power she has, that's why those races had to seal it. She was even lucky to find a place where she can use her powers freely. Without them knowing, it wasn't her they should have been feared in the first place.
It was someone else.
"Your majesty… Did I mishear you?" Ellaine couldn't help but ask. Curiosity traveled onto her body. "Did you call her Luna?"
But instead of answering her question, a wide smirk showed on Achyls' lips as she leaned onto her throne and crossed her legs. She bit the nail on her index finger a bit as she was surrounded by a dark fog.
"Don't mind me, dear," the majesty told her as her thoughts were floating somewhere.
It was a long time since she last saw Luna. She knew her for a long time, and she didn't need to be here in her self-made castle to hide her identity, she would have gone to the human world herself and approached her.
Unfortunately, her power isn't working when it comes to her… as Luna was deemed special no one was able to notice.
Achyls tried to divert her thoughts somewhere, and that was the time she noticed how Ellaine was standing in front of her. She may look firm and strong, but she could feel her uneasiness, especially on how she played on her fingers while her gaze was on the floor.
She could feel an aura of sadness and fear for her entire existence, and her body expression made the majesty confirm that thought.
She knew what happened back in the inferno, not because she used her power of clairvoyance, but because she could still feel Domhall, her son's rage, on her body.
Achyls frowned as she felt that the kind of rage Domhall released was intense to the point that she could still feel it on Ellaine even though they parted ways for a while now.
"Did something unusual happen?" Achyls stared at Ellaine with intimidation in her eyes as she asked that question.
"Aside from his obsession, nothing strange happened except that I noticed how his powers increased when he felt rage," Ellaine answered directly. A hint of amusement was evident in her voice. "Anger and pride were the sources of his greatness."
"Just like how he was when he was human. He never changes." The majesty cackled lightly as she shook her head.
She suddenly remembered the time when she made Ellaine as Domhall's guide spirit and protector. She knew how rebellious her son may be since it was on their bloodline, and she never got wrong with that.
Domhall causes trouble in the last four lifetimes he had, and her clairvoyance power was so strong that she knew what to do at that time.
She predicted and calculated everything… except for one thing.
"It's because of their fate. It will be unchanged," Achyls whispered as she slightly waved her hand.
She made a black fog shape into a sword, and in a few seconds, it became a real one as it floated onto her right hand.
It was Luna.
It may feel like a punch in her stomach to admit that Luna's power was beyond ordinary, but she needs to acknowledge her skills and power this time.
She never thought she underestimated her to the point that she thought they won't be able to meet each other after the curse on the eclipse, but it seems like fate were with them.
Their forbidden love couldn't be separated, but she needs to do something to protect her child. Their undying love for each other would probably make one of them get killed.
"Ellaine?"
"Yes, your majesty?"
The majesty grinned wickedly as she ran her fingers onto the sharpness of the sword. She raised it a bit to make Ellaine, who tilted her head and had her eyebrows furrowed in confusion, see and understand what she was going to say.
"Louisanna Lohengrin is exactly just like this… A double-edged sword," she added as she snapped her fingers, and in the blink of an eye, she buried one of her fingers onto the sword, causing her black blood to flow on it.
Ellaine felt her body shaken as she saw how the sword pierce one of the majesty's fingers, and she was about to run in her direction, but using the index finger which was currently wounded, Achyls moved her finger back and forth, telling her not to make this scene a big deal as it shouldn't be.
She just wanted Ellaine to realize on how heavy the responsibility she was going to assign to him. When she properly executed the mission, it would make Inferno powerful... even more stronger than other races.
"She could make him… or break him," Achyls told her with authority. "So you better make sure that she would be someone who can make Domhall discover his real power, and not the one who'll ruin him."
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
