It was a dark and stormy night as Nobunaga, Pakunoda, Kortopi, and the rest of the group gathered in the lobby of the luxurious hotel. The rain was coming down hard outside, and the sound of thunder echoed through the building. They had come to this secluded location for a private meeting, away from prying eyes and ears.
As they settled in, Nobunaga spoke up. "We need to talk about what happened. "You guys lost Chrollo, and we need to figure out how to get him back."
Machi nodded and began to explain. "We were all in the room together, and the lights suddenly went off. "We heard someone moving around, and then Killua and Gon attacked us."
Killua and Gon looked at each other and felt a little bit bad because they were not able to escape from the grips of Shizuku and Machi. This shows that they are still weaker than they thought they were even before.
Shizuku jumped in, "But I was able to stop Gon before he could do any damage." "He was too strong for me to handle, but I managed to hold him back long enough for the lights to come back on."
Machi added.
"This white-haired kid named Killua tried to kill me, but because of his inexperience and almost no mastery over nen, I was able to take care of him."
"But they are still causing enough distractions for us to stop them."
Pakunoda thought.
"Leader did not have enough time to expect the lights to go off and was not able to block an attack, which means that the attacker, a chain user, was already in here, waiting for an opportunity."
Nobunaga added.
"All of these things mean these kids are valuable hostages. We also need to think about that man with the sickles named Axel."
Machi and Shizuku have no idea who Nobunaga was speaking with because they haven't asked.
Shizuki noticed something on the robes of Nobunaga.
"Did you get hit? Your robe was cut."
Nobunaga looked and found out that his robe was indeed cut. He smiled sarcastically and then commented in his mind.
"If he were more strong and experienced, this would be a real cut."
Nobunaga listened intently as they continued to describe the chaos that had ensued. "And when the lights came back on, Chrollo was gone, and there was a note on the wall."
Pakunoda was about to speak up, but Nobunaga held up his hand, signaling for her to stop.
"Pakunoda, this message is for you. Read it and stop talking."
Pakunoda took the paper and read it.
"Do not tell anything about myself, or he will die."
As Pakunoda started to get stressed and think about what she should do, she could not help but think about the fortune she read. Is this it? Is this where she will decide whether or not to betray the troupe?
She wants Chrollo to live, but if she were to not tell others what she knows about Kurapika, the chain user, she would be betraying the troupe, which would mean that she would be betraying Chrollo.
Nobunaga starts to talk.
"Pakunoda, calm down, and just say nothing."
Machi added.
"You just need to stop thinking for a moment."
"Let's wait for others to come here and formulate a plan before moving."
Shizuku added.
The group fell silent, each lost in their own thoughts about what had happened and what they needed to do next. The storm outside raged on as they sat in the quiet of the hotel lobby, waiting for their next move.
