Axel blinks rapidly, then calms down. He starts to analyze the man in front of him.
It was his first time fighting on the 200th floor, and that was an important situation for him.
Fighting on the 200th Floor meant participating in the nen battle for the first time, and it's not surprising that people were injured in these battles and, in rare cases, killed.
Brown, perfectly groomed hair gently hangs over a furrowed, warm face. Beady sapphire eyes set delicately within their sockets keep a wary eye on the mountains they've grown fond of for so long.
A goatee graciously compliments his cheeks and leaves a beautiful memory of his reckless luck.
Gardav looked Axel in the eye for a few seconds and began to speak.
"I've fought here with four people so far."
"I hope you don't think you're too strong and rely too much on yourself and lose your life."
Axel smiled and replied.
"Thank you for thinking of me. But I want you to do your best."
Gardev greeted Axel's words with a puzzled expression on his face. After a momentary puzzled expression, the puzzled expression on his face slowly turned into a smile and then a desire to fight.
"Come then."
A strong aura began to shine around Gardav, and he started to run toward Axel. Axel squinted slightly and thought.
"Slower than I thought."
Gardev and Axel were in close combat range, and the fisting had begun. They both blocked each other's fists using their elbows and arms. Within three seconds, they had a simple understanding of each other.
"This guy is strong!" Both Axel and Gardev thought the same thing. The level of aura they had was, on average, the same. Axel did not use gyo or other advanced fighting techniques in conjunction with nen.
"Take this!"
Gardev jumped into the air and aimed an axe kick at Axel's head. Axel avoided the attack with ease to the left and attacked Gardev, who was still in the air, with a palm blow.
"Bummmmm"
Gardev flew five meters back. Axel's palm attack hit him on his belly, and there was nothing he could do to block or escape from it.
Gardev lightly spits blood on the floor, and the smile on his face turns demonic.
"Now that the warm-up is over, it's time for us to get started."
With Gardev's words, a red-colored object began to form in his hand. A few seconds later, the red object turned into a long spear.
Axel starts to analyze the conjured item in the hands of Gardev. His face looks calm and has some sort of maturity as he looks at the spear and Gardev all together.
"It's a simple red spear."
"He has to be someone who is in the conjuration category; I don't know exactly, but I don't think he is a specialist; he did not create the spear when we started to fight but conjured it after he took a hit from me."
"It could be because he needed to take a hit from me to conjure his spear." It could be one of the conditions for him to use his talent.
"Like Feitan's Pain Packer and Princess Camilllia's "Cat Who Lived a Million Lives," his nen ability appears to be counteractive type."
Axel took a deep breath, and at that moment, Gardev continued to speak.
"You have given me a good amount of pain, and I will give you back this pain three times as much."
Axel didn't fight back and just kept thinking. It was good practice for him to analyze and learn the skills of the other party.
