章節 115: Chapter 115 - The Phymen Creatures

Axel noticed a Phymen creature in his eye and quickly called out to the others, warning them about the danger ahead. He could sense that the creature was nearby and decided to go after it alone. The others stayed behind, keeping a safe distance as Axel vanished from sight.

As he got closer to the Phymen, he could see the creature more clearly. It was a large, human-sized praying mantis with razor-sharp claws and mandibles. Axel could feel his heart racing as he prepared for battle.

The Phymen saw Axel coming and immediately attacked, lunging forward with its sharp claws. Axel was ready, dodging and weaving as he avoided the creature's attacks. He could feel the adrenaline pumping through his veins as he assessed the creature's movements and weaknesses.

In a swift motion, Axel countered with a powerful strike, delivering a devastating blow to the Phymen's head. The creature stumbled back, disoriented, and weakened. Axel didn't hesitate, taking advantage of the opening to deliver a flurry of strikes that quickly dispatched the creature.

The battle was over in just five seconds, leaving Axel panting and sweating from the exertion. The others, who had been watching from a safe distance, approached him, impressed with his quick and efficient defeat of the dangerous Phymen. Axel, however, remained focused on their mission, knowing that there were still many dangers on this unexplored island.

Axel started talking as Navi came to his side.

"The creature is not weak or strong. All of the team members should be able to take one of them without too much of a problem. But if three or four of them attack at the same time, only you, Ekail, and me should be able to take it."

Navi nodded, and Ezar commented that his face showed clear anxiety.

"Yeah, you are right, I saw the fight between you and the creature. From your hands, it seemed easy, but I know that I can only fight one of them at a time. If I am cornered by two of them, I would be moderately injured at the end of the fight, and against three of them at the same time, I would be killed."

Ely did not say anything but nodded. Showing that she thinks the same as Ezar.

Ekail commented, complimenting Axel.

"Still, Axel, I saw that you did not use your abilities at all; you just used your nen mastery and fighting capability, still able to take on the creature that was able to use nen and had natural power and weapons because of his nature."

"You are a beast; you know that right."

Axel just smiled and silently accepted the compliment. He is no fool; he is able to see that this time the compliment from Ekail was honest and had no ill intentions or anything hidden behind his words.

Navi then asked

"Axel, how many of them do you think you can take without any problem?"

Axel thought a little and then answered.

"It depends on my abilities and how much power I use."

"But if I go all out, twenty of them at the same time should be the limit, with injuries, of course."

Words from Axel shocked the group completely; they all gasped for air, and some sort of cold atmosphere formed between the group and Axel. Not because they don't like him or anything, but at this point, they knew that this man with whom they work, Axel, is not up to the same standards as them at all.
