Born into a poor family without even knowing his last name, Leon Devour enters the 'Crimson Earth' nation's program to gather strong awakeners as it was his only chance of achieving something in his life.

Each person's talent/class is different from the other, yet there is only a 50% chance of awakening it, those who don't are deemed as failures and are forced to work in the mines if they are as poor as Leon.
The 'Crimson Nation' only wanted the most powerful of awakeners to fight against the horde of humans and monsters, as well as to conquer dimensions and get resources.
So they gathered thousands of students all across their program, only allowing the strongest to compete for a chance of joining the academy.
Weakness is failure, death is failure.

It's a pretty interesting story so far. I'm currently at ch 48. This story is with a technology advanced society and is mainly focused on strength. You have to pass multiple tests to even enter the first city and only about 5% or less of the total amount of students probably pass to even get there ( the rest are either no longer on the world or working in the mines ). You don't really get the main character's background besides him being bullied and treated as pariah by the students; and him being an orphan. I actually really like that he doesn't have unnecessary emotions like sadness or being worried about others; his main emotion being hunger because of his devour ability. He isn't conflicted about murder either but won't do it for no reason stating he doesn't want to appear as a bad person.

Great story i quite enjoy MC having some morals but not being controlled by them(willing to kill if necessary) plus him not necessary having the mindset "I will kill everyone that made my life miserable/nobility that abuses power".I am only at ch 45-ish for now. There is one thing that annoys me. MC is constantly obsessed with leveling up and always annoying with stating that he has the worst level up plus always considering those with higher levels stronger than him yet he gets more stats than anyone( he gets some stat points with each monster devoured plus extra 5 when he levels up while others get only 5/level). How long is it going to last(him being always focused on levels instead of stats i mean) ?

The beginning is somewhat slow, and meaningless in many things, is it luck to awaken some ability? Why do the rich study with the poor? If it's not by luck and by training you can improve your chances because the rich man didn't train since he was little? Or did your family help separately? And why does the rich have better opportunities than the rest? if it is 50%

Obvious 5 stars because this is frankly amazing, if you liked my previous one, you will surely love this one to. The system or class in this case is incredibly unique, and there is even a little companion (EGO, aka the devourer), you will never get bored, I promise, as everything I write is unique! There will be a harem BUT it is not gonna be at the start as I always focus on action and world building first, since, y'know, it's an adventure novel.
