I'll Reincarnate In RWBY My Way

I have been working very hard on this story, ad it's been a blast, until today. I hit a stumbling block when someone left a review that was not just opinion or critique, but actual lies. I stopped my writing to attempt to resolve the situation, but it was getting me nowhere, so with great reluctance I deleted it. The first complaint he had was the MC's shadow clones were going rogue. As a narrative choice I was going for a reluctant harem story, something I've never seen before. I'm sure someone has done something similar, but I haven't seen it. Anyway, yes, I had him use long term shadow clones and they formed multiple relationships and when they were dispelled he inherited love for three future harem members. Rather then just having the MC feel like he wanted a harem, I used the clones to force a shift in his thinking towards it, by inheriting the love that developed within his clones while they were training those three girls. His second complaint was that the MC had too many abilities and was using them immediately. This is an out-right lie. Yes, he has many abilities, but he's developed them after 14 years of training, ever since he was three years old, including with the shadow clone jutsu. He can instantly 'download' the basic knowledge of the jutsu, which is a slight shortcut, but he still has to train his body to use it, Id fact, he has 'downloaded' many kekkai genkai and some elemental releases that he has never gotten around to using, so while he has the potential to use them, he'd still have to train for it. Even with 14 years of training, I've tried to be reasonable about how much he learns and I have ever been mindful of this limitation. His third complaint was 'power sharing', via growing chakra fruits. We can debate all day about whether or not this is possible in the Naruto universe, but it is in my story as I wrote it. Like it or don't like it, that's fine. My thoughts was that rather then having them grow for hundreds of thousands of years and beoming OP, he let them mature for only two years until they were barely suitable to be icked and to barely provide one person with the ability to use chakra. My world, my rules. He also complained about the MC giving Zanpakuto's away to potential allies, and indeed this is true, and as for why I chose to do that, just look at Bleach. ALL shinigami have Zanpakuto, but the vast majority NEVER even develop a shikai. The reason I chose to give them all one is so that one (only one) can eventually get a shikai later down the road. Knowing what I do about Bleach, it is unreasonable to expect ALL of them to be able to awaken a shikai or a Bankai without a system to assist them. Again, this is my narrative choice. His last complaint is that my MC is loose lipped and tells all his secrets to people. Well, it is a RWBY fanfic, after all, so the MC has learned from Ozpin's mistakes! Yes, he tells everyone what he feels they need to know and he tells his love interests even more.If this setting was like Agent's of Shield and the MC was someone like Nick Fury, who keeps lots of secrets, then he'd have a point, but this is RWBY, and I have repeatedly stressed that he wanted to learn from 'someones' mistakes, eluding to Ozpin. So complaining that he was too loose lipped and disregarding that he repeatedly stated he was learning from the mistakes of others and not disclosing it in the review was tantamount to a lie. Anyway, I just felt the need to rant after that review was unfair and someone read it and decided not to even try reading my fic based on that review alone. This afternoon ended up being a lot less productive then I intended because that stressed me out.

This is actually a pretty good story overall, The circumstances of him getting reincarnate is unique the development of his power and and the way he act is cool too. Unfortunately, in order to make things overly dramatic, the author decide to make his clones (shadow clones jutsu) become rogues and act against his will for sometime giving reasons that they took after his personality and love freedom so they act against his will which is BS , Correct me if I'm wrong but clones don't have a will of their own so it's absolutely impossible for them to act against their creator, Author admit it himself that he did that in order to force the harem on him which I think is stupid. Then their the classic things that most readers abhor, MC in his infinite wisdom decide to tell people his secret, his cheat to a stranger, reason being learn from Ozpin mistake of keeping secret from other and lose their trust so he learnt from that, I'm just so done. If it's his family and love one whom he trust with his life, I can tolerate it but to a stranger he know not long Fcking hell. It was a good story but those two point alone make me lost all my motivation to continue reading and I'm only at the start, who know what kind of wonderful things would happen in the future chapter?

I was enjoying this until the clones went rouge. I understand the writer's perspective and what he was trying to do. but I dislike the idea of that. if you wish to read it then go ahead but because of that reason I will not give this book a second chance like I would do to others.

I assure you I have not been disappointed with this novel so far, Salem has now for cinders sister as a replacement The author had made jaquese schnee Weiss father, the villan. And all the girls are going to fight, Yang especially I expect to be pissed I hope that they all make up and that they all share the mc. That is my hope anyway. Thanks for the story my good man don't drop this book
