章節 267: Chapter 267 : Talk With Dumbledore
Orion stood in front of Dumbldore's office, his head was already aching with all that shouting from those old geezers. He honestly didn't wanted to talk with Dumbledore right now but he has no other choice. Dumbledore was serious when he asked him to come to his office after what happened.
Seeing that he was the only one visiting here, it was clear that this was not just about him taking part in the Tri-Wizard competition, but much more.
Sighing he slowly entered the already open stairs leading to the office of a man who he didn't want to see at all if possible, especially when he knew that talking with him gonna made his headache worse.
As he walked up he noticed that the gate of the office was open, Dumbledore was expecting him and this wasn't giving him a good feeling at all.
Knowing that there was no avoiding this talk, he just walked in.
Upon seeing Orion coming, Dumbledore didn't show his usual smile like he usually does, instead, he was looking tired.
"Here I am." Orion too didn't want to talk period, no matter how. He hardly talks even with Rose and Daphne nowadays so it's understandable he wouldn't want to do that with someone like Dumbledore.
"Please take a seat," Dumbledore said as he took a sip of his lemon tea. Orion took the seat without talking anything more, he just wanted to get done with his as soon as possible, so doing what the man asked him is the fastest way out of this dreaded office.
"You know why I asked you to come here right ?" Asked Dumbledore with a calm tone on their face.
"I have some idea but you go first, If possible keep it short, I am just recently feeling a little better when it comes to my headache and body pain, but those shouting idiots from earlier had already made that improvement null and void," Orion said, making sure that Dumbledore directly talk about the real matter in hand and don't waste time.
Dumbledore hearing this put his tea down and started talking, "Okay then let's start with why you suddenly decided to participate in the tournament, don't deny it, I know that you changed the name written on that piece of paper, showing your name with magic. Why did you do that ?" Asked Dumbledore with a serious tone, though he wasn't 100 per cent sure that it was Orion he believed that it happened.
More than anything, knowing whether it was Orion who put his name willingly in there or someone else did that will explain what Orion is really after.
Orion hearing this didn't react at all, he knew that Dumbledore wasn't an idiot, and he would learn that it was him who changed the name later on, but he was not willing to confess that.
"Huh, you give me too much credit, being able to change the name in front of the greatest white wizard, If I was capable of something like that, then I long would have left this school and graduated from here," Orion said with no shame in his voice.
"And here I thought that we were making things quick." Dumbledore sigh.
'I said quick, not foolish.' Orion was very close to roll his eye but didn't.
"Fine! I entered after seeing how Rose's name suddenly came out of there, I am sure that Rose is not a person who will put her name in that, 'Eternal Glory' do you really think someone like Rose needs that, to others maybe it looks like Rose cheated but I know her, she definitely didn't put her name in there.
If only this was someone else then I wouldn't have cared but this is not other than Rose, the girl who lived. There is definitely something going on here. That's why I decided to enter." Orion said, and though what he said was not true but he did give it thought of entering when knowing that Rose wasn't likely be enter into the tournament, wanting or not.
Dumbledore hmm at this, he too thought that Orion might have done that, on this Dumbledore just took Orion at face value.
So he just nodded his head.
"what about your name then ?" Asked Dumbledore.
Now Orion was aware that he wasn't the only one who was aware of the importance of his name here, talking with both Rose and Daphne made him aware that after coming back from fate, he wasn't the only one who realised what the name 'Ambrosius' means.
Now he had no idea why, is him knowing was not enough. Do others also have to learn this? How come they even realized this? It's like him learning this turns into a trigger of the entire world suddenly realizing what his name really means.
And again technically this shouldn't be that big of a deal but seeing what he was capable of and the name was written in the book of admission. This became a big deal.
"I am not sure, just recently realize what it means. Not sure why but til now I never realized this was the same name as that man." Orion said with a lot more irritation on his face when talking about Merlin.
Merlin was supposed to explain to him what was going on with him but now here he was, that old man most probably trapped in the fate world.
How the hell is he gonna bring him back, Orion has no idea but he gonna find a way to do this, somehow?
Dumbledore hearing this looked suspicious. His can't look into Orion's memories, if only it was that easy. But upon seeing Orion's irritated and helpless look. At least with his years of experience, he can say that he is mostly telling the truth. But again, understanding this boy in front of him was always been hard.
"Did you check out blood in Gringotts ?" Dumbledore asked.
"Do you really want me to go there the way I am?" Orion just raises his eyebrow.
"No, I rather have the only bank in magical Britain and the race running it intact." Dumbledore immediately shook his head.
"You know that you will have to do both a blood test and a wand test to enter the tournament right ?" Dumbledore asked with a little amusement on his face.
"What! That was never shown in movies ?"
"Movies ?"
"Hmm, I mean it that important do. I don't even use Wand anymore ?" Orion immediately cover himself.
"Its important, and its not important to use your wand but I you will have to show your wand in the ceremony nonetheless, and I will advice to use the wand. That will attract less attention from others." Dumbledore advice.
"I see,"
"So when should we go ?"
"Go where ?"
"Gringotts and Olivanders."
Sigh...
