Not having any way to stop Orion, Dumbledore had allowed Orion's demand.
What Orion wanted was to leave Hogwarts earlier this year, to find a cure for his burn hand. Something which even the wizard in St Mungus wasn't able to do.
What followed was a back and forth between Dumbledore and Orion in which Orion finally came victorious. But Dumbledore also had his demands. Like Orion giving his second-year test early. He can't leave Hogwarts without taking the exams for second-year students.
Maybe the only reason Dumbledore agreed with Orion's demands was because they really had no way to heal him.
"Will you be responsible if I can't use my hand ever again just becuase you can't bend this school's rule a bit so I can find a cure?
Not like you have a cure. Do you ?"
This was from Orion was enough to shut up the old geezer but Orion also said it more tactfully. He still needs Dumbledore's support in the future after all.
What followed was Orion entering into a short-term revision period where he get ready for the upcoming exam he need to take to gain his freedom.

Orion was buried deep in his books, surrounded by towering stacks in the Hogwarts Library. With the Advanced Exams looming ahead, he delved into a variety of subjects – from Potions to Transfiguration. His determination to excel was evident in the meticulous notes he scribbled and the numerous parchments scattered around.
He actually never studied much knowing that starting just a few days ago from the exam day is also enough for him to score good marks. Thanks to Merlin's learning spell, he never had to worry about something like this.
"If only I had something like this in my previous life. Forget about my exams, I am just thinking what price students won't pay for this.
I would have been rich before my peers even could start their careers." Orion mutters with a delighted face, ah the wonders of magic.
However, there was more to his relentless study sessions than met the eye. Hidden amongst the complex theories and magical formulas, Orion was secretly exploring the realm of healing magic. He had a singular goal in mind – finding a way to mend the burns that marred his left arm.
It's not just burned but completely unusable. Definitely a side effect of the death law. Something very similar to a killing curse. It's like the killing curse only hit and affected his left arm. Like there is no soul in his left arm.
He suspects that his Quen Stones, which he uses for protection, and Space Law saved him back then, the black slash from the elder wand only affecting his left hand where he was holding the dern wand.
Now when he thing about it like this, he just finds himself lucky that it was only an arm, Voldemort lost his life the same way, he surely lucked out this time.
Late into the night, as the library lamps flickered with a magical glow, Orion pored over ancient tomes on healing arts. His fingers traced the delicate illustrations of restorative spells, his mind absorbing the intricacies of magical mending. The advanced healing techniques he sought were not part of the standard Hogwarts curriculum, but Orion was determined to uncover their secrets.
With increased magical power, almost everything became easier, so although he lost an arm, he found that if he had lost his other arm also, even then maybe his daily life won't be effected as he can just use Force for everything.
Eating, washing, turning the pages of a book you name it, now he do everthing with force, and he don't even need to use his hands to focus it.
There sure is a god somewhere. If he ever meet him then he sure gonna ask. "Why the hell I don't get an OP wand like that Iron bastard."
Anyway back to stuying.
He didn't even limit himself to the normal section, if this has something to do with soul then he needs more information on soul magic. Something he can only get in the Restricted Section.
In the quiet corners of the Restricted Section, where the air hummed with ancient enchantments, Orion delved into texts that spoke of forgotten remedies elusive healing rituals and the art of Soul Manipulation.
He was pretty much invisible for half a week, not attending any of his classes, not going to east in the hall or talking with anyone. He didn't even go to his dorms something just to keep on studying an gather all kinds of information he needed.
Merlin also help much to teach him and he might even have a solution to his problem but that comes later, he can't act on that solution before even checking what is preventing his arm from healing in the first place. And he can't do that here in Hogwarts.
He has to go to Merlin's old place, he needs equipment to do this kind of magic.
Where this old place of his old friend is. The same hyperbolic time chamber he talk about earlier. (RIP AKIRA TORIYAMA, THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY CHILDHOOD AWESOME)
His nights blurred into days, and the library became his haven – a sanctuary where knowledge flowed like an endless river. While also a place where he can curse all he wants to as he was working overtime again.
During this time, he only got a few minutes to talk with his friends. Both Rose and Daphne were concerned for him.
So he took time to talk with them.
"What do you mean that you are taking exams early ?" Rose exclaims with a stupified look on her face, asking why anyone wants to do something so stupid.
Daphne seems to ask the same but Rose beats her to it.
"Because I will be leaving Hogwarts early this year, and no, let me complete. The reason I have to do it is this dead arm of mine.
Both Madam Pomfrey and Doctor from St Mungo's said that they can't heal my arm. They try everything but to no avail.
But I know that I can fix it, it will take time and a lot of research but I know that I can fix my arm. But I can't do it here. Thus I am taking the test early so I can get out of here and find a cure for this arm," Orion seriously didn't have time to waste, and thus he only focused on delivering what happened to both the girls as fast as possible.
Both shut up after this, there was nothing that they could speak after hearing that from Orion.
They had many questions but due to limited time, as Orion's exam was about to start, he gonna get all the tests at the together. He had to choice to choose whatever to start with at his leisure. Something he asked to save time. And thus it will be a pretty long test.
"When we will meet you again," Daphne as with a straight face, but it was apparent she didn't want him to go so soon.
"September 1st at King Cross," Orion gave a pleasant smile and immediately replied.
To which Daphne just nodded her head cutely and like wanted to say something, stood there, but ultimately didn't say anything. There was hesitation in her eyes but with a self-blaming look, she finally went out, maybe to berate herself or give Rose the chance to say something in the few minutes they had before Orion entered the examination hall.
Orion planned to give the bloody test by night and get out of this darn school before morning so this was the only time he could talk with them.
So now he and Rose were the only ones present there.
"Make sure that you fix that arm of yours before you come back. You promise to train me from next year, I will hold you to it..." Rose after some time said.
"I will make sure to do that," Orion just smiled and replied.

Seeing that her not saying anything Orion sighed, both girls were the same. He finally got up from the place he was sitting and got close to Rose.
"Make sure to eat properly, you are again looking like a skeleton girl I met last year. And if Malfoy cause any trouble then do yourself a favour and punch in right in the face," Orion smiled as he hugged the girl with one arm.
Rose just stood there, nodding with a "HMM".
"Well it's time for me to go, meet ya in King Cross in September," Orion said as he was ready to get going but just when he was about to move, Rose held him by his intact arm.
Chuuuuuuuu~
"September, I should see your arse at King Cross in September and also write to me, I want one letter every week," She turn around and got out.
Orion just stood there still computing the soft sensation on his cheeks.
[Ah, youth. They grow up so fast.] Merlin wipes an imaginary tear from his eye as he snickers at the stunned and unmoving student of his.
[There are no flies here in Hogwarts but still you shouldn't kept your mouth open like that]

Alright, I guess from next year they are big enough to exactly start thinking about romance a little.
I so much wants to make Rose a red head badass with a little yandere and tsundere elements, nothing major though.
