"Do you reckon I carry you?" Lucifel asked her, already expecting her disapproval. He had thought she would be quiet due to his kiss throughout the remaining distance to his chamber but it turned out that she was truly Hazel. Hazel never stayed quiet. She either complained, threatened, or was just exceptionally rude.

"Hell! No!" She responded as she bumped her body against his a little because he stopped walking when she least expected it.

"There is nothing wrong in carrying your wife because she can't walk, or is there?" He asked her.

In just a few hours, Lucifel had changed abruptly from a man who didn't care about a woman to a man who wanted to have every conversation with her.
