When she delayed her footsteps so that she could hear the Prince and the other's discussion, Prince Elliott lashed his words out to her in fury as if he had been longed pissed off, "Why does a pregnant tortoise walk faster than you do?"

She uttered, "I...I am sorry, Your Highness."

"Do be sorry and walk faster!" He replied, holding tight to Esmeralda's wrist who still not for a second stopped pulling away from him. He faced her and then shouted, "What the bleeding hell is wrong with you?"

"What is wrong with you too, Your Highness," she slurred. "I...I told you I am not drunk and you keep treating me like I am."

"Because you are drunk!"
