What do you think happens to the psyche of a person that bears the brunt of this cruel law?
Mae Reinhart is a very absent-minded young lady. She has always been like this despite being warned multiple times that her absent-mindedness would cost her dearly one day.
And one day, it finally happens. She loses everything after she steals a royal relic and is expelled from her house. But soon she learns that even that does not save her family.
They are executed for their supposed association in the crime by higher ups for unsavory reasons. Mae now drifts aimlessly around cities with no purpose or reason to live,. She eventually contemplates ending her life, when a mysterious man named Ayden intervenes and saves her life.
Driven by his mysterious nature and vowing to take revenge, she joins the mercenary group "The Twilight Warriors". Ayden presence soon provides Mae with a renewed sense of purpose and a reason to live.
But will that be enough for Mae or does she want something more?

Mae didn't deserve this. I could feel her pain as I read to the latest chapter in one go. All because her 'absent-mindedness', leading to a catastrophic loss as she steals a royal relic, resulting in her family's tragic fate. It is an interesting novel and now I am waiting for more to come!
First review yay! Anyway, just wanted to say that I'm excited to see where this story goes. I really like the concept and want to see how the FL and ML will interact with each other. The author has written the story well so far and I'm interested to see the introduction of the ML. Keep up the good work.

WHAT A GREAT STORY! HOOKES FROM THE START AND WANT MORE! HOW IS THE STORY GOING TO BE? IT IS EXCITING!! PHEW! Anyway, it is a good book and written in quite an amazing style. Good work author keep it up!!
At first I just read it, and then I was hooked. That is something because I do not like reading FL books. I'm already heartbroken at what Mae is about to go through. I dont even know if I want to continue 😩. Overall I recommend this book. The characters come to life and their interactions are vividly described.

Hello author! The theme of the story is obviously a good one! But I think the story could be improved a lot. Apart from the fact that the events happen too quickly, I think it's important to improve the narrative to make a better impact on the reader. I hope to be able to improve my review of this book soon. You can do it, author!
Things happened really fast. I like the fact that the FL is trying to do something about her situation but she seemed a bit hasty. I'd be really great if she have character development later on. I think the author has a really clear writing style, little to no grammatical errors, world background is interesting, but more work is needed in character design. I do understand, that her character design might be that way but as a reader I'd really like to fall in love (not in romantic sense) with the characters that you design.

Very lovely cover, good synopsis! I am very happy to have come across this gem of a story! Such a lovely story! Utterly charming! <3 thank you author for that wonderful read.
There are few chapters, however it has a nice turn of events and its going pretty well. I'll point some topics to improve it: Writing Quality: In overall, its good however it can be improved to be even better. I suggest to study some books with a known writing quality, like The Name of the Wind from Patrick Rothfuss. Character Design: I think you did a good job with the MC, however its lacking a bit with the other character, by "lacking" a mean, just a bit of description of their picture. Like the MC's father. Would be really great to have it. World Background: So far, so good. Overall tip: I think you're the right path, however you only to polish a bit the road and cut some grass and obstacles, so that the river's flow can smoothly go well. All in all, keep up the good work.
This, dear Author, is probably your most excellent work! I have read your other books, and this one is absolutely *Chef's Kiss*.
