Eddison didn't call the chefs from Chrono Restaurant this time as he left for Caroline's house. In fact, he already told the chefs the night before that they would be in charge of Caroline's meals for the time being.

However, he did not give them a specific time period.

On his way there, he bought a bouquet of lilies for Caroline. If she didn't like it, he could always use the baby as an excuse.

His phone rang as soon as he got the flowers. It was a call from the chef.

"Mr. Eddison, Mrs. Zellweger is not letting us in," the chef reported.

"Is that so? Tell her then, if she doesn't open the door for you, you'll find a kitchen elsewhere and send her the dishes once they're ready. If she still refuses to open the door, just find a hotel kitchen nearby," Eddison instructed.

"Sure, Mr. Eddison," the chef hesitated then replied.

After hanging up the phone, Eddison placed the bouquet in the passenger seat and tapped the steering wheel a few times before he started the car.
