"Are you feeling okay, Mitsuki?" Maverick asked for the seventh time as he walked ten steps away from me to talk to an Alpha. 

He has been sticking by my side for the last hour, and I couldn't help but be grateful for the kind of man the moon goddess bestowed me with. 

Now, I genuinely believe in the saying that everything that you deserve and belong to you will come to you at the right time, sooner or later. 

Maverick was my real mate, and I got him as soon as I freed myself from Tyler's bond and Hazel Moon Pack. 

Now that I look back in time, I can't help but thank Tyler deep down for betraying and rejecting me. 

If he hadn't done so, I wouldn't have felt the urge to leave the pack and turn into a rogue. 

If I hadn't turned into a rogue and caused all that mess, the council wouldn't have forced me to study at an all-human university, and I wouldn't have met Alpha Maverick, thus leading to what we are today.
