"Carl, can you check the documents with my Beta Shadow? I just want to ask her a few questions regarding what happened. Just a normal protocol. I am sure the council wouldn't want to interject with something like this," Shadow, I mean, Alpha Maverick said, he didn't even look at the man he was speaking to, his gaze not moving away from my face, and Carl immediately left.
