ryuxenji Lol. Not sure if the author did this on purpose, but it seems strangely apt for chapter 444 to be a major possibly lethal crisis for Ling Lan. The number 4 sounds like the word 'death' in Chinese, which is why Chinese tend to avoid this number if possible. Sometimes, in tall buildings in Chinese-populous areas, you might see that the number 4 is replaced with 3A or even just skipped completely when naming the floors.
