章節 10: First Kiss

* gasp * gasp * gasp * - Shun was breathing heavily, and if there had been anyone on the street at that moment, they would have heard the sound of irregular breathing and a voice muttering from time to time the phrase "stupid system". Of course, due to the early hour, there was no one on the street except for young Shun, who had just finished his 10 km run. He was a bit faster compared to yesterday, but he still stopped and walked a lot in the middle of the run. As a result, it was almost 7 AM, and the boy was dragging his legs on his way home.

Since it was early, Shun didn't say anything when he entered, he just sat down and started taking off his shoes. After removing both shoes, he stood up, but before he could turn around, he heard a scream and felt an object flying just inches from his head and hitting the door behind him.

"GET OUT, THIEF!" - Shun heard a woman's scream. He couldn't tell if the voice was angry or scared, but he didn't try to find out. The boy jumped towards the door while screaming in fright.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH, STOP, DON'T KILL ME! I'm too young to die! I haven't even gotten a girlfriend yet, no, I haven't even kissed a girl yet, please!" - The young man screamed desperately for mercy. He was facing the door, with his whole body curled up, one hand protecting his face and the other guarding his small treasure, so he couldn't see the face of the person who had thrown the unidentified object at him.

"Huh? Son?" - A surprised voice reached Shun's ears. He lowered his arm from his face to see who it was, but he didn't dare move his other arm. To his surprise, the person who had attacked him was none other than his own mother, Aiko Takahashi.

"Mom, why" - Shun said in relief, but before he could question his mother about why she had attacked him, he saw the woman lift her foot and take off her slipper with her hand at the speed of light. Quickly, a slipper came flying in his direction, followed by screams.

"You idiot! What were you doing outside the house at this hour of the morning? And how did you sneak into the house like a thief? Are you trying to give your mother a heart attack, brat?" - This time, Shun had no doubt about the emotions in the voice, she was furious.

"Mom, I was running. I woke up early and couldn't go back to sleep, so I went for a run. I didn't want to wake anyone up, so I snuck in. I'm sorry." - Shun spoke very softly, the boy was afraid of making his mother even angrier.

"Running? I see, next time you do that, leave a note on the fridge or at least announce yourself when you arrive. You almost gave your mother a heart attack." - Shun was surprised to notice the change in his mother's tone. For some reason, she was no longer angry. Of course, he wasn't going to complain. But remembering his mother's last words, he couldn't help but think, "Weren't you the one who almost killed me? And not from a heart attack!" But the boy knew he should stay quiet, he didn't know why his mother calmed down all of a sudden, but he was sure he wouldn't be so lucky if she got angry again.

"Aiko, what happened?" - Shun's father came down the stairs hurriedly. He had been sleeping when he heard his wife's screams, so he quickly woke up, grabbed a "weapon," and ran to help. Of course, the "weapon" he grabbed was an alarm clock, which he was holding as if it were a grenade.

"Kenshin, why did you take so long? If it were really a thief, wouldn't I already be dead? And what are you doing with that alarm clock? You look like an idiot!" - Aiko started scolding Kenshin but was interrupted by laughter.

"Hahaha, Dad, what are you doing? Are you preparing to catch the thief with your Pokeball or something?" - Shun couldn't hold back his laughter when he saw his father's pathetic pose while taking a scolding from his mother.

"You brat" - Kenshin was about to say something but was interrupted by his wife.

"Eh? You seem very happy making fun of your father, huh, Shun? It doesn't seem like you were just now begging not to be killed. How was it again? "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH, STOP, DON'T KILL ME! I'm too young to die! I haven't even gotten a girlfriend yet, no, I haven't even kissed a girl yet, please!""- Aiko imitated her son's screams perfectly, even his expressions and pathetic pose were identical. Shun turned as red as a tomato in embarrassment upon hearing his mother imitate him. He regretted saying such shameful words.

Hahahahaha - his father started laughing, and his mother didn't take long to start laughing too. Shun was sure this was one of the most embarrassing moments he had ever experienced. The boy lowered his head and muttered, "I'm going to take a shower" - as he climbed the stairs to his room. He believed his parents would have stopped teasing him by the time he came down for breakfast, but reality was much worse than he had thought. As soon as he arrived, he saw his twin sister Mika smiling at him.

"Hey bro, do you want me to introduce you to one of my friends?" - Shun didn't know how to react when he heard what his sister said, but quickly his father started laughing. He turned as red as a tomato again while his mother and sister also started laughing.

Thus, Shun spent the entire breakfast being teased by his family. He only found peace when he left the house for school.

*SHOTO JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL*

Shun arrived at school and headed to the second-year floor. When he entered his classroom, he noticed it was much emptier than usual. He looked at the clock and concluded that he had arrived earlier than normal since he quickly fled home after breakfast to avoid being teased.

He walked towards his desk, which was the last one in the last row because it was next to the window. He didn't like attending classes at all, so he spent his time looking out the window or talking to Kenta, who sat next to him.

Thinking about Kenta, Shun looked to the side, his friend hadn't arrived yet. He thought about their last conversation.

"I need to apologize to him." - Kenta was his best friend both at school and in the club. He felt bad remembering how he treated his friend yesterday when Kenta was just concerned about him.
