章節 1: Another Chance
**Tokyo, Japan. Nearly a hundred years ago.**
[We are in the 4th inning of the game between the Major League All-Stars and the All-Japan team. And pitching is the 17-year-old prodigy, **** ********!!!! So far, he has allowed only 1 hit and struck out 6 batters, an incredible performance!]
"Why do I play baseball? Because I love it!" - The teenage pitcher thought as he pitched to the batter who would one day be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
WOOSH
STRIKE
"I love that sound, the sound of the catcher's mitt perfectly receiving my pitch. The sound of the swing missing the pitch the batter couldn't touch." - In a situation where people would be trembling with nerves, there he was, with his leg raised and a confident smile while pitching to the inside corner of the strike zone.

STRIKE
"That's it! That feeling every time I step on the mound and pitch with everything I've got against a strong opponent, it's like I'm on top of the world. It's that addictive feeling that makes me want to pitch more and more, that's how it should be, that's baseball!"

[The crowd goes wild with the young **** ********'s pitches, he strikes out the legendary American player **** **** again!!]
**Some years later...**
**World War II, on a certain battlefield.**
"Breathe! Breathe ********! You can't die here, man! Breathe!" - A young soldier was kneeling on the battlefield, crying as he watched his friend lose his life from a stomach wound.
"That voice, seems like this is the last time I'll hear that idiot's voice, damn, I really wanted to go home... and play baseball a little more." - The man closed his eyes in regret as he felt his life slipping away from his body.
SPLASH
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh" - The man who had just died woke up startled after being doused with a bucket of cold water.
"Where, where am I, didn't I just die? Was it all a dream?" - The man was confused, and looking around and seeing nothing but endless clouds made him even more puzzled.
"You're finally awake!!" - A cheerful and excited child's voice sounded behind him. Startled, the man jumped out of bed and looked back, only to see a child on the bed, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a curious face holding an empty bucket.
"Who are you? Where am I?"
"Me?" - The boy looked at the man as if he were stupid - "I'm a baseball fan! You were dead, but I didn't like the end of your story, so I decided to give you another chance! How does that sound? Aren't I awesome? Huh?" - The boy bounced on the bed as he cheerfully responded to the man.
"Another chance, what do you mean? I can play baseball again?" - The man found it all very unreal, but the mere thought of having another chance to play baseball made him very excited.
"Hehe, something like that! Well, you'll lose some memories, but you'll still love baseball. How does that sound? Aren't I awesome? Huh?" - The boy became even more excited upon seeing the man's enthusiasm.
"Hm, you're really cool hahahaha, I'll play baseball again. Wait, losing my memories, what are you talking about?" - The man was very excited and took some time to understand the boy's words, but it was too late, the child had already jumped towards him and gave him a big hug.
"You're fun haha, I hope you create a really fun player to entertain me!"
"Entertain? Create a player? What the hell?" - The man was confused but before he could ask the boy any questions, he felt his consciousness fading away.
[DING]

HcS10 Hello, this is my first story and I would appreciate any feedback. I am not fluent in English, so I apologize if there are any grammatical errors. In any case, I intend to write a fun story that I would enjoy reading. I also think it’s important to mention that I am a big fan of Major League System and was inspired by reading that story to write my own.
