(Guys, Let's try 200 PowerStones! We are really low on rankings, don't blame me for slower updates then)
Sora sighed, knowing he was in for a long explanation. "Look, Hanabi!, I'm really sorry. I should have found a way to let you know. How about we go get some cinnamon rolls, and I'll tell you what I can about the mission?"
Hanabi's anger seemed to deflate slightly at the mention of her favourite treat. "Fine," she said, still glaring at him. "But this better be good, Sora-kun."
As they walked towards the shop, Sora tried to figure out how much he could tell Hanabi without breaking the Hokage's order of confidentiality. He settled for a heavily edited version of events, focusing on the travel and training aspects rather than the confrontation with Orochimaru and the reanimated Kazekage.
"So you're telling me," Hanabi said between bites of dango, "that you went on a secret mission with Naruto-san and Sasuke-san to bring back one of the legendary Sannin, and you learned an A-rank jutsu along the way? which happens to be Fourth Hokage's creation"
Sora nodded, relieved that she seemed to be accepting his story. "That's pretty much it. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you beforehand, Hanabi. It really was sudden."
Hanabi studied him for a moment, her Byakugan-enhanced gaze seeming to pierce right through him. Finally, she sighed. "I suppose I can forgive you this time. But next time, you better find a way to let me know, or I'll use my Gentle Fist on you, got it?"
Sora grinned, knowing this was Hanabi's way of saying she cared. "Got it. I promise I'll do my best to keep you informed."
As they continued to chat, Sora felt a wave of contentment wash over him. Despite the dangers he had faced and the secrets he now had to keep, it was good to be home. The warmth of the village, the familiar faces, and the company of his friends... these were the things that made all the risks worthwhile.
Little did Sora know that the events of the past few days were just the beginning. The shinobi world was changing, and he, along with his friends, would be at the heart of that change. But for now, he was content to enjoy a peaceful moment with Hanabi, savouring the sweet taste of cinnamon roll and the even sweeter taste of friendship.
As the sun began to set over Konoha, casting long shadows across the village, Sora found himself reflecting on the incredible journey he had just experienced. The battle with the reanimated Kazekage, the confrontation with Orochimaru,... it all seemed like a distant dream now
Yet, as he walked Hanabi home, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was missing something, something that happened but he couldn't remember. In the back of his mind, He felt like he was forgetting something really important.
As they reached the Hyuga compound, Hanabi turned to him with a small smile. "I'm glad you're back safe, Sora," she said softly. "Just... don't make me worry like that again, okay?"
Sora nodded, a warm feeling spreading through his chest. "I'll do my best, Hanabi. That's a promise." Hanabi is one of the closest friends of Sora, but his relationship with her is different from Naruto's and Sasuke's, 'maybe due to being of a similar age' Sora lazily thought.
As he watched her disappear into the compound, Sora made a silent vow to himself. He would get stronger, not just for his own sake, but to protect those precious to him. With renewed determination, he turned and headed home, ready to face whatever tomorrow might bring.
Sora remembered the day of the funeral after the invasion and his mood soured. He tried to distract himself, which was easy due to him being on a mission for the last few days, but it would be hard for him when he was alone.
Just as he was walking towards his house, just outside Hyuga compound thinking whether to work on the Rasengan variant to distract himself, his eyes widened and he looked up at the sky. He felt a familiar feeling.
The feeling when the memories or specifically the chakra he gets when his shadow clone dispel.
'Hmm, I don't remember a shadow clone I created, the last one I did was in the battle with that dead g- Kazekage'
As Sora pondered about this, he received the memories, his eyes widening.
Sora fell to the ground on his knee and emptied his stomach. For the next two minutes, He used a silencing seal to not let his screams go out so that somebody would hear it.
Sora moved away from the spot where he puked, leaned against the wall and sat down. He was shivering and clutched his right arm, fearing that it would disappear.
'What is the name of the mother of Sage of Six Paths!' Sora wasn't even able to think properly, the pain he was feeling was intense.
'Since when did I know how to use Fireball jutsu?' Sora was fighting against going unconscious
'Also, who was the identity of the dismantled corpse which my clone burned?'
'From which time is this from?' That was the last thought Sora had before he gave in to pain, losing all rational thinking, he had luckily deactivated the silencing seal.
Hanabi who was near the area, heard the scream and instantly rushed to the place along with the guards stationed at the door of the Hyuga clan.
She arrived there and saw Sora unconscious on the ground, his body continuously spasming even when he was unconscious, his left hand clutching his right hand.
Hanabi quickly ordered the guard present there "You pick him up! Hospital now!" She just uttered quickly and motioned at the hospital.
Both of them arrived at the central hospital quickly.
Tsunade was talking with Guy about Lee's surgery and Kakashi was beside them looking a bit pale as he had woken up a few hours ago.
They were standing in the lobby area, so when Hanabi and the guard came along with Sora, it easily attracted attention, as Sora's age and spasming even while unconscious was clearly quite unusual even for emergencies.
Tsunade and the other two naturally had caught the attention, with their eyes widening when they saw Sora as the patient.
"Quickly in this room" Tsunade yelled and motioned at the room which was empty and where Kakashi had been resting till a few hours ago in a coma.
The Hyuga guard put Sora on the bed and remained on standby outside the room.
"What happened to him?" Tsunade asked the little Hyuga while checking his vitals.
" I found him outside the manor like this after a few minutes we parted ways, he was just normal till a few minutes ago"
Tsunade checked him for a minute and frowned.
"He is not physically damaged"
Kakashi's only eye which was glancing at Sora widened. "You mean?"
"No, it's different from your case, this seems more like phantom pains"
"what do you mean?" Kakashi sighed but asked.
Tsunade kept silent for half a minute, pondering various situations.
"It's like his shadow clone had lost his arm and him suffering this, but that shouldn't be possible..."Tsunade said
"As a shadow clone should have been dispelled at that point, so only option is that the main body lose the arm, and then form shadow clones with one hand somehow, maybe with two hands, he had already moulded chakra, then his arm got severed?" Kakashi completed the statement.
"That's not the important part, how is this even possible in the first place?" Tsunade asked.
Everyone was left speechless at the scene happening in front of them.
"Maybe some foreign jutsu or maybe advanced genjutsu?" Kakashi suggested, not really liking the idea of either option
"Let's wait till he wakes up" Tsunade said and with that, people left the room with more questions than answers.
