In one of the luxurious hotels, Toji stood motionless by the window on the top floor, gazing out at the ants crawling outside.
The fact that he had been deceived by a child who hadn't even reached the age to enter Jojutsu High School had slightly hurt his pride.
But he wouldn't allow that to happen again.
The next time he encountered that mischievous brat, he would put him in his place.
Or so he thought, at least.
- On the other side -
The other group was on the rooftop of a building, discussing the previous events, while Riko and koroi, who had lost consciousness, leaned against one of the walls.
"Why did it take you both so long to deal with a unknown curse users?"
"Well, their cooperation was almost perfect, so it took some time to deal with them," Geto replied calmly, trying to appear confident, but Onoki's response revealed his lie.
"I bet you both wanted to play with them a little and show off your strength. At least I'm confident that this fool will do so."
A vein bulged on Gojo's forehead as Anoki pointed out his stupidity so he raised his hand to teach Onoki a lesson, but Onoki managed to evade his hand.
Geto intervened before things escalated further and asked Onoki, "What happened after you left?"
"We were attacked by someone. I didn't sense any curse energy from him, and his physical abilities were unmatched, plus he had a cursed tool in the form of a sword. He said his name was Fushiguro Toji."
'I was suppressed in physical strength, something that has only happened twice before and not in this world. His strength was on par with the fifth gate of Might Guy,' Onoki thought to himself.
Upon hearing Onoki's words, Geto and Gojo carefully pondered whether they had heard that name before, but unfortunately, no bells rang in their minds.
"I don't know anyone by that name, but his heightened physical strength could be due to a heavenly restrictionor he might have taken a binding vow to increase his physical prowess. "
"However, I haven't heard of anyone without cursed energy. Even ordinary humans have cursed energy. Perhaps his technique prevented you from sensing it," Gojo answered seriously before not wasting a second to revert to his childish self and mock me.
"Or maybe you're just terrible at sensing cursed energy to the point that you didn't feel it even when it was right under your nose. I knew you shouldn't have come with us. What were the elders thinking sending a kid with us?"
I ignored him and didn't stoop to his level. At this point, Riko and koroi woke up beside the wall.
'They woke up faster than before. Is it because I used less energy or because they got used to it?' I wondered internally.
Geto stepped forward to reassure them and confirm they were safe.
"I remember we were fleeing in the forest, and suddenly the world around me flipped. Then the person who attacked us talked about surrender... then I don't remember anything. How did we manage to escape? Did I defeat him or what?" Riko asked calmly, and koroi was also interested.
"After I distracted his attention, I rendered you both unconscious so you wouldn't get in my way. Then I created copies of us and left them to buy us some time while we escaped underground," I explained briefly.
Everyone listened to my explanation, even Geto and Gojo didn't expect that. It was one of the most common operations in the ninja world, and although it seemed simple when explained, it required precision and expertise. Only the most skilled ninja specialists in earth release could do it.
'Although this body hasn't been fully trained yet and hasn't completed its growth, the instinct engraved in my brain allowed me to do it in less than a second,' I thought internally.
"Fantastic!" x2 Koroi and Gojo said simultaneously with enthusiasm.
I didn't understand why Gojo was impressed, since he has six eyes and should be able to see the confined curse energy moving through the ground.
On the other hand, Riko seemed sad for some reason, which the other three also noticed.
Koroi approached Riko and asked, "Miss, what's wrong?"
Riko seemed hesitant to speak, but seeing our eyes watching her, she said, "I just wanted to say goodbye to my friends one last time before I left, but now that's not possible anymore."
We remained silent for a moment at her words, while the other three felt sorry for her, I felt puzzled.
'Wasn't she supposed to be aware that she would merge with Tenjen for several years, meaning she knew she would part with her friends? So why does she feel sad now?' I thought to myself.
Even Onoki was momentarily deceived by Riko's brave behavior before. Even though he knew she was just pretending, he forgot that she was just a teenage girl.
Gojo said, "While we can't go back to say goodbye to your friends, we can go to Okinawa and enjoy the golden sands and cold sea. After all, Tenjen-sama's orders are to fulfill your requests, so just ask."
At hearing that, Riko's morale rose again, and a beautiful smile formed on her tear-stained face.
On the other hand, Geto and koroi smiled gently at this scene.
As for Onoki, he didn't care. Since obeying the girl's wishes was his orders , he would continue to protect her until the time of integration.
Two days until the time of integration
- The Next Day -
The remaining day unfolded exactly as Onoki had expected. Not a minute passed without them being attacked, infiltrated, assassinated, poisoned, setting traps, and even shooting them with facking bazooka, which they used to blow up the entire hotel room.
Although the initial methods used were as clear as daylight to Onoki, they seemed more like some amateurs trying to show off in front of him. He was the expert in these kinds of things.
However, Onoki didn't expect them to use such a weapon, as Japan was a country with strict weapon laws, so he didn't expect the assassins to obtain one.
Since the bazooka didn't contain any cursed energy, he couldn't sense it until it was close.
Other than that, the assassins didn't pose any threat. However, due to their large number, Gojo contacted the first-year students of Tokyo High School, promising to give them good training.
On the beach, I sat beside a second-year student and a first-year student on each side.
The student on my right was a first-year named Kento Nanami, who seemed like a pessimistic person, disillusioned with life and wanting to commit suicide.
On my left was a second-year girl named Shoko Ieri, the girl Otahime talked about a lot.
I didn't find much value in conversation. After introductions and exchanging basic information, we sat watching Koroi, Gojo, Geto, Rico, and Haibara playing on the beach.
Yu Haibara, another first-year student, tricked by Gojo to make them deal with the assassins instead of us, had brought Shoko-san with them out of curiosity.
Unlike Kento Nanami next to me, Yu Haibara was an optimistic and cheerful person all the time. His hairstyle reminded me a little of Might Guy.
Suddenly, Riko came from afar to invite me to play with them in the water. There was no other option, as when I refused her request, she reminded me of "Tenjin-sama's" orders, and as a rule-abiding person, I was forced to play with them.
However, unlike playing with the ball as I thought, Gojo and Geto surrounded me from both sides and tried to dunk me underwater, all in jest, of course.
Unfortunately for them, they couldn't succeed. I stood on the water's surface calmly and watched their reactions.
There were some traits inherited in my cursed energy from chakra, it seems, among them the ability to stand on water and cling to surfaces. I discovered this when I began training to control cursed energy.
When I asked Yoshinobu-sensei about it, he denied the ability of cursed energy to do so, and no one had ever experimented with it before. Of course, I didn't tell him about my ability to do so.
The only reason I called him "sensei" was because he taught me the basics of Jojutsu and how this world works. Otherwise, he wasn't in the same position as Mu-sensei.
"Are you the messiah?"
Riko said in astonishment and pointed at me, and Yu Haibara was in the same state.
"No, I'm not. It's one of the traits of my cursed energy. It allows me to stand on water and climb trees with ease."
Upon hearing my vague explanation, interest grew in Gojo's eyes. I could guess that he would chase after me after the mission ends to discover all my secrets.
The rest of the day passed peacefully. We toured the rest of the city and saw various natural and historical sights.
And since there were no more assassins trying to kill Riko, Shoko-san returned to Tokyo with Nanami and Haibara, while we stayed an extra day here.
The next morning, we were already inside the barriers of Tokyo High School for Jojutsu, preparing to deliver Riko.
"We are now inside the barriers of the Jujutsu High School, so you can rest now."
Geto said lightly to everyone and especially for Gojo.
It seemed that even though there had been no enemies since yesterday, Gojo had been using his cursed technique all the time. So he was not in his best condition.
"Finally, what a relief," Riko and Kuroi said at the same time
"I'm done, no more babysitting," Gojo said wearily.
I was also a bit tired, after disguising myself as a table in Riku's room, I stayed up all night in case something happened, fortunately nothing happened.
As if the world was contradicting me, I felt something approaching at breakneck speed and before I was able to warn anyone Gojo was pierced through the back with a sword.
Toji Fushiguro was the one who stabbed Gojo.
I waved my hand forcefully and several spikes formed from the ground pierced towards Toji quickly, but not at the speed required to hit him .
Toji left the sword stuck in Gojo's back and jumped into the sky, avoiding the my spikes, but he was eaten by one of Geto's cursed spirits.
This bought Geto time to move behind Gojo and pull the sword from him.
"Are you okay Satoru?" Geto asked worriedly.
"I'm fine, even though I couldn't activate my cursed technique in time, my vital organs were unharmed, and I reinforced my body with the cursed energy to make sure the sword wouldn't do any further damage."
"The priority now is for Amanae. Since Gojo is injured, you must quickly take him and Amanae to "Tengen-sama's" place."
I Interfered in the conversation as there was no time, the cursed soul that had devoured Touji was sliced into pieces as he emerged from within.
Gojo smiled upon hearing my words and said to Geto, "you heard what he said. The priority now is to get Amanai safely to Tengen-sama's place as quickly as possible."
"Hey, I said you and Geto were taking Amanai to a safe place and I wil-"
Gojo interrupted me, saying, "and I'll let you have all the fun. No, I'm still able to fight, and our opponent seems interesting."
He said as he looked at Toji who was watching us argue.
There was no time to fight about who would go and who would stay so I didn't care anymore and focused on Touji in front of me.
Seeing that, Geto also agreed and took Amanai and Koroi away.
"You shouldn't lose"
"Who do you think you're talking to?" Gojo replied with a smile.
With the departure of Geto, Koroi, and Riku, only Gojo, Toji, and Onoki remain in the arena.
"Aren't you a bit arrogant for not attacking while we were talking?" Gojo asked with a smile.
"One or two more seconds won't prolong your lives much," Toji replied with an arrogant statement that clearly annoyed Gojo.
Gojo stepped forward, intending to fight him alone.
"Wait here, you already took your chance earlier, it's my turn now, it won't take long."Gojo said to me .
Although I was inclined to fight him two against one, Gojo didn't seem to agree.
I jumped into one of the sinkers and watched the fight between the two.
"The bounty on Amanai's head has already been cancelled, you idiot."
"I already know, I was the one who put it after all. I was hoping that one of the assassins would be able to kill one of you, but it seems that I was hoping for too much. It is enough that they managed to make you so exhausted that you did not feel my attack."
Saying that, he took out an unconventional-shaped dagger from inside the curse wrapped around his torso.
Suddenly, Gojo made a direct attack, creating a hole in Toji's place, but he managed to avoid it thanks to his speed.
Toji moved quickly from one place to another and approached Gojo to stab him, but Gojo was able to repel his attack and send him flying into a building.
"Even if you are very fast and have a cursed tool, you still won't be able to get close enough to use it."
However, there was no response from inside the building and Gojo couldn't sense his cursed energy anywhere.
I could see the panic in Gojo's exhausted eyes when he couldn't find Toji anywhere.
His face was dripping with sweat from overusing his cursed technique and fighting while injured.
So his decision was to destroy the entire place and leave no hiding place for Toji.
A blue ball formed in the air and moved according to the movement of Gojo's hand.
The blue ball swept through the buildings and the entire floor, leaving no place for Toji to hide.
Suddenly a swarm of hundreds of cursed insects came from the forest .
They were not strong in any way, but they were enough to act as a smoke bomb.
'Huh, is he using curse spirits to block my vision, since I can't sense his cursed energy I'll destroy everything using the blue color, no wait his target is Amanae'
Thinking of that he looked at the entrance of the star shrine see onoki in a near place .
'But Onoki is still near the entrance-'
Gojo couldn't help but be surprised when Touji suddenly appeared behind him and pointed the strange-looking dagger at him.
The ripples of curse energy around the dagger were evident in Gojo's eyes as it pierced through "infinity" that he so proud of .
Gojo was stabbed directly through the neck while a disbelieving expression appeared on his face.
He extended his hands and reached for the dagger in a final attempt to escape, but Touji was not going to allow that at all.
He forcefully brought the dagger down along Gojo's chest and down to his right thigh, where he continued his attack with a series of stabs.
However, just as he was about to stab Gojo's skull, sharp rock spikes stabbed out of the ground with such force that he flinched backwards to avoid getting hit. .
Onoki quickly appeared next to Gojo and assessing his wounds in an instant.
His carotid arteries were severed, as were his rib cage, lungs, and most of his vital internal organs , the bones of his right leg were shattered into mere small fragments, and even if all of that did not kill him, he would die from blood loss alone.
Gojo's condition was completely hopeless, there was no way he could survive, even if there was a doctor capable of treating him in the high school grounds that meant he would have to abandon the mission in order to save him.
"Ha, I thought you wouldn't interfere in the fight, but it seems I was wrong. Now you have two choices. Either save Gojo Satoru by finding someone capable of using the Reverse Curse Technique, or let him die here. I can assure you that I will not kill either the maid or the other child. My target is the Plasma Star Vessel only."
Hearing his words and seeing his smirk, I knew he was just lying.
After weighing the pros and cons of saving Gojo Satoru, I estimated that the chance of Tenjen not being able to merge with the Star Plasma Vessel and turning into a cursed spirit was much more dangerous than Gojo Satoru's death, so I decided to abandon him.
I turned towards Toji and used my cursed technique.
Seeing that, Touji smiled and said, "Cold-hearted bastard, I like that."
[Earth Release: Forest of Thorns]
Forming a seal with both hands, Onoki slapped the ground, causing sharp rock spikes to emerge from the ground, one meter thick and five meters long, and then spread out in all directions until they covered a hundred meters around Gojo and Onoki's location.
High in the sky Toji watched in amazement at the scope of the technique Onoki had just unleashed, if he had not jumped in at the last moment, he would have been forcefully pierced by this rocky forest.
Suddenly, Onoki flew high into the sky with a fist covered in rocks and punched in Toji's direction.
However, Toji managed to block the punch using the sword he had taken out of the curse's belly at some point.
But the force behind the punch blew him away into the air from the place of the previous fight.
'The least I can do is move away from the battlefield so he doesn't accidentally kill Gojo, that is if he can survive his wounds first' Onoki thought as he flew to the spot where Touji fell.
-Inside Tenjen barrier-
Inside the elevator, Geto, Riko, and Koroi descended down the Jujutsu High School towards the Star Shrine.
As soon as the elevator arrived, the three got off, but Koroi stopped directly in front of the elevator and did not continue walking with them.
"Lady Riko, this is as far as I can go, please take care-"
Koroi was unable to complete her words when Riko hugged her tightly and started crying profusely.
"Koroi, I love you now and forever."
"I love you too ma'am"
Geto watched as the two girls hugged each other and sobbed loudly.
The two girls separated, and Geto and Riko continued walking the rest of the way in silence.
Suddenly, the place shook and some dust fell from the ceiling.
Riko clung to Geto tightly when she felt the ground shake beneath her and Geto prepared his cursed souls, but the tremor lasted less than two seconds and stopped.
With no enemy in sight, Geto's thoughts naturally turned to the fighting on the roof, and a fire of anxiety burned in his heart, but it was not extinguished when he remembered his friend's strength.
After reassuring Riko that everything was fine, the two made their way inside.
"We are now in the main hall of the Star Shrine. Go down and pass through the gate and then head to the base of this huge tree."
"It's protected by Tengen-sama's barriers so you'll be safe until the time of merging.....or you can go home with Koroi,"
Geto said with a calm face.
"...What ?"
Riko was surprised by what she heard and looked at Geto with a look of disbelief.
"Our teacher who gave us the task used the word 'erase' instead of 'fusion' to describe the process. For a cunning man like him, these allusions were very clear."
"So Gojo and I decided before we met you and Onoki, if the Star plasma vessel refuses the fusion we will cancel the mission, even if it means fighting Tengen-sama or Onoki."
"So I will ask you again, do you want us to continue or do you want to come back? me and Gojo promise that we will protect your future"
Geto said with a smile on his face.
Tears fell down Riko's face and the words choked in her throat from hearing those gentle and strong words from Gito, leaving her only nodding.
"I want to go back"
"I can't pretend I didn't hear those words."
Suddenly a voice appeared from behind Geto, making his spine shiver.
Behind him was something closer to cursed spirit than humans.
He was wrapped in a white scarf that covered his entire body , his head, if it could be called an eraser-like head , with four eyes on top of each other and a barely noticeable nose ,he was Smiling.
"Tenjen...sama," Geto said those words with a shocked face .
-----------
I have three questions for you.
1- Do you want Amanai Riko to die or not?
2- Do you want Toji Fushiguro to die or not?
3- What do you think of the story's progress so far?
4- what do you think wins , hallow purple or dust release ?
5- When gojo punch someone, that should mean that he turn off his infinity so he can punch , right? Otherwise he shouldn't be able to touch anyone , correct me if I'm wrong.
