章節 266: Chapter 266 : Champions
After getting out of the great hall, Orion was directed to an underground chamber where most of the other champions were taken to.
As he entered, his eyes were first on Rose who after looking at him immediately came near him, mostly likely nervous being alone among those other two champions.
Orion just slowly touched her hand, calming her while also ensuring everything was alright. But internally he wasn't giving much attention to her. Though he was looking at her but in reality he was glancing time to time at the white hair girl.
Though she was beautiful but that wasn't why Orion was interested in her. It was her name, and look which exactly caught her interest. Orion had a feeling that he had seen the girl before. He was sure but just can't remember when.
Though she was weak, her magic wasn't anything to worry about but there was a feeling of unease inside Orion which was lurking him.
But right now he can't act upon his suspicion. He needs to investigate her. The simple fact that she is here, taking the place of Fleur Delacour, was enough for Orion to be suspicious of him. But then there is so much more.
Shaking his head and adding another task in his mental to-do list, he shifted his attention to Rose.
"You okay ?"
"I really didn't put my name in there Orion. At least you have to believe me." Rose was still trying to convey that.
Sighing, Orion just nodded.
"I do, there is something wrong going on here. But don't worry, with all that training I have you two go through, this little tournament is nothing. Just remember what you learn and you will be alright.
And hey, I am also here, right." Orion replied.
To this Rose just nodded and only then did she snap at Orion with a little glare. "Yes, what are you doing here?" Rose asked with suspicion.
"Oh that, ah nothing just after you entered I thought it would be fun and make another piece of paper with my name written on it emit from the fire." Orion winked and could see Rose staring at him like he was an idiot.
But kept her mouth shut as that was the time when Dumbledore and others came rushing at the underground chamber.
Seeing how Dumbledore was rushing, he suddenly remembered how Dumbledore ran in the movie and grabbed Harry and shook him up to get the truth out of him.
Well, not this time.
Just as Dumbledore was close enough, Orion standing right beside Rose, extended his infinity to cover even Rose.
The result being Dumbledore's hand which was about to grab onto Rose and even his shoulders stopped mid-way.
Seeing his hands stop mid-air, even Dumbledore was surprised, only now that he sensed when he came in contact with this power that it was Law.
His eyes widen to the extreme but he composes himself quickly. He knew that Orion was strong, but comprehensing Law?
Everything he wanted to say to both Rose and Orion about their entrance into the Tri-Wizard tournament was replaced in his mind with Orion being able to use Law. But he didn't say anything for the time being. But now he knew that it was time to finally talk with Orion. It's time to know what is going on with him and see whether Orion D. Ambrosius is really a threat or he is overthinking things.
However, it was only Dumbledore who temporarily forgot about the current issue. There were others who right now wanted to rip apart Rose, Orion and even Dumbledore because of what just happened. After all not one but two underage wizards entered the tournament and both were from Hogwarts.
Others seem to bitch too much about the underage participants.
"There is no way that both Ms Potter and Mr Ambrosius can get out of this anymore. Their name came out of the cup. It's impossible for them to back out now." said Bartemius Crouch Senior.
Orion long have forgotten that the Braty was his son but ultimately it didn't matter.
"How both of you put your name in that grail. Explain." Some of the older people asked with anger in their voice.
"I don't know, maybe writing in a piece of paper and putting the name in like normal people." Orion might have been feeling better but that doesn't mean that his headache was cure. And right now it was getting worst thank to this people.
"Ambrosius, this is no joking matter. Do you know how big of an issue this is," said Dumbledore as he finally was coming out of his daze.
"Issue huh, well I believe its an issue. Two 15-year-olds were able to cross the age line made by the most famous white wizard of all time.
Yes, we call that Skill Issue. On the part of who draw the line that is" Orion smile and said making everyone shut up.
Orion was getting agitated now after they were shouting so much around him.
"But I believe that is not the case, so I rather believe that it wasn't both of us but someone else who put our name.
After all, I can't believe that the line which Dumbledore himself drew can be so easily bypassed. Do you." Orion smiled and looked into others. Making all the talk end then and there.
Now if they talk more about this topic then they are mostly talking about the credibility of Dumbledore.
On the side, Dumbledore was sending a sneaking glare at Orion. He himself believes that Rose didn't put her name in there, and how much he knows Orion, there is no way that Orion will put Rose's name in.
But on the contrary, Orion definitely put his name in. Hell, he don't even think he really put his name, strange how it sounds but he believe that that last name which came out, wasn't supposed to his name in the first place.
Orion changes that in the last second. He felt his magic flare for only a second and then there was that little reaction on the paper when it came out.
Dumbledore can't help but sigh.
But it was clear to him that now he needed to talk with Orion. He wasn't earlier because Orion wasn't ready to hear anything. Snapping out almost on everyone.
But now seeing that the boy switching back to his cheap insulting remark from the earlier outright hostile and angry attitude, at least now its a possibility that he can talk with him.
