章節 40: Ch 35 Departure

After arriving, Gojo invited Ichiro to eat in a nearby restaurant. However, due to the amount of snacks Ichiro consumed in the Zenin clan, he found himself quite full. Understanding Ichiro's predicament, Gojo decided to leave him on his own as he had something urgent to attend to.

"Whew, I'm so full right now. I think I ate too much," Ichiro remarked to himself while walking down the hallway. Despite his full stomach, he made his way to his room and decided to take a quick nap.

An hour later, Ichiro was awakened by a sudden knock on his door.

"Hmm?" He groggily stood up, reaching the door and opening it before saying, "Who is it?"

"Yo, where you sleeping?" Gojo's voice came through the door.

As Ichiro rubbed his eyes, he responded with a yawn, "Yeah, what is it, Gojo Sensei?"

"Here," Gojo said, immediately handing Ichiro a uniform and an ID.

Ichiro blinked, a bit confused. "What's this for?"

Gojo grinned. "You're officially joining the Jujutsu High School as a student. Consider it a surprise enrollment!"

Ichiro, seemingly oblivious to what was happening, asked Gojo about the sudden enrollment. Gojo noticed Ichiro's confusion and decided to explain.

"Well, I asked Yaga Sensei, and he immediately agreed," Gojo explained, a hint of amusement on his face.

However, Ichiro still couldn't comprehend the reason for his enrollment. "Isn't it too vague? Could you give me a more detailed explanation?"

Gojo chuckled. "Well, no need to sweat the small stuff. The important thing is, you are now a student."

Ichiro nodded slowly, still trying to wrap his head around the situation. "I see," he said, accepting it as it was. Deep down, though, he couldn't shake off the feeling of curiosity about the sudden turn of events.

With excitement in his voice, Gojo urged Ichiro to put on the uniform.

"Now, hurry up and wear it, Ichiro!"

"A-alright," Ichiro stammered, feeling a mix of confusion and eagerness. He closed the door behind him and began to change. As he reached for the uniform, his eyes caught sight of his ID. It looked like a typical ID at first glance, but one thing stood out—printed on it was.

"Special Grade, huh," Ichiro muttered to himself, feeling a rush of pride and anticipation. With a sense of determination, he continued to don the uniform. As he finished putting it on, he stood before the mirror, examining his reflection. The uniform was predominantly black with striking red lines accentuating the neckline, giving it a bold and formidable appearance.

Feeling a surge of excitement and determination coursing through him, Ichiro couldn't help but grin at his reflection.

After showing off his uniform to Gojo, Ichiro received a thumbs up from his sensei. Together, they stepped outside.

"Gojo Sensei," Ichiro began, curiosity lacing his voice.

"Hmm? What is it, Ichiro?" Gojo replied, his attention fully on his student.

"Um, what are we doing outside exactly?" Ichiro inquired, still slightly puzzled.

"We're going to train, of course," Gojo answered with a grin.

"I see," Ichiro said, nodding in understanding.

"Now then, let's begin," Gojo declared, signaling the start of their training session.

As the days passed, a month flew by in the blink of an eye. Ichiro's departure was now nearing, and in an airport terminal, a man with striking white hair and a blindfold was seen conversing with a young kid whose height could easily be mistaken for that of a high schooler.

"So, Ichiro, over this month, you've improved quite a lot. You've become even stronger than last month. You even easily beat Panda, now even in his Gorilla mode, and you've helped exorcise curse spirits," Gojo complimented Ichiro's dedication to his training, a proud smile gracing his lips.

"Well, I couldn't do all this without your help, so I'm very grateful to you, Gojo Sensei," Ichiro responded humbly, bowing deeply to express his gratitude towards his mentor.

"It was my pleasure to help you grow, Ichiro," Gojo replied warmly, his voice reflecting pride in his student's progress.

As Ichiro straightened up, he took a moment to soak in the last few moments of his time with Gojo.

"Well, I'll be going now, Gojo Sensei," Ichiro said, a hint of sadness tingeing his voice as he prepared to depart.

"Yeah, take care of yourself, Ichiro," Gojo replied, his tone filled with genuine concern for his student's well-being.

As they bid farewell at the airport, Ichiro boarded the plane and embarked on his journey back to Africa. After hours of flight, he safely arrived at the airport where Kyle was eagerly waiting for him. They exchanged small greetings before entering a car and driving home.

Upon reaching home, Ichiro began unpacking his luggage before heading downstairs to the living room where Kyle was seated.

"Hey, Kyle," Ichiro called out, catching Kyle's attention.

"Yeah, what is it?" Kyle responded, turning to face Ichiro.

"I'll be heading out for a bit," Ichiro announced, prompting a curious look from Kyle.

"Where are you going?" Kyle inquired, his curiosity piqued.

"Well, I want to see the place since it's been a month, and I kinda miss it," Ichiro replied, wearing a forced smile as he offered Kyle a fake excuse.

"I see. Then be careful, okay?" Kyle said.

Kyle, seemingly oblivious to Ichiro's excuse, permitted Ichiro to leave the house. Ichiro stepped out and started walking away. After a few minutes of walking and surveying the surrounding area for any signs of life, Ichiro summoned Griffin, his loyal shikigami. With a graceful leap, Ichiro mounted Griffin's back, and they soared through the sky towards the familiar battleground where he had fought countless shikigami before.

As they descended upon the familiar landscape, Ichiro couldn't help but notice that the place hadn't changed at all. The air was still thick with the scent of cursed energy, and the eerie atmosphere hung heavily around them.

"Hmm, this place didn't change at all," Ichiro remarked to himself, his eyes scanning the area with a sense of determination. "Since I've now gotten stronger, I guess it's time to continue my shikigami conquest."

Griffin let out a low, rumbling growl of agreement, understanding his master's intentions perfectly. With a confident nod, Ichiro urged Griffin forward, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead in his ongoing quest to conquer the shikigami and hone his skills as a powerful sorcerer.

章節 41: Ch 36 Shikigami Conquest

As ichiro stretch both of his hand he then start chanting

In the shadows deep, where darkness reigns,

The Black Tortoise wakes, unchained.

With scales of night and eyes ablaze,

From depths below, its power raise.

Ancient guardian of the underworld's might,

Hear my call on this moonless night.

With whispered words and blood-stained hands,

Bring forth the terror that no mortal understands.

By earth and water, by blood and bone,

The Black Tortoise, let your presence be known.

With jaws that crush and claws that rend,

Oblivion's harbinger, our foe's end.

Rise, oh creature of dread and woe,

From the abyss where nightmares grow.

For we beckon thee with this chant's decree,

Black Tortoise, arise, and set our enemies free.

"I sommun thee, come forth Black tortoise!"

As Ichiro summoned the Black Tortoise, he observed as he's shadow expanded, a familiar occurrence that no longer surprised him. From within the shadow emerged a formidable figure: a Black Tortoise with spiked shell and a long snake coiled around its body, matching in color and menace. Standing at a towering 8 feet with its four legs firmly planted, it exuded a terrifying aura, its black skin resembling the depths of the abyss. Despite the intimidating sight, Ichiro remained composed, his mind already strategizing on how to confront the shikigami.

"Hoh, so this is the Black Tortoise," Ichiro remarked coolly, eyeing the creature before him. "Given that it has a snake wrapped around its body, it probably has no weak spot to exploit, and I don't know its abilities yet. It's best to let my shikigami test it first."

As Ichiro spoke, the Black Tortoise regarded him with cold, unblinking eyes, its imposing presence seeming to fill the space around them. The snake hissed softly, its tongue flickering as if sensing the tension in the air. It was a silent acknowledgment of the impending battle, a challenge that both Ichiro and his opponent were ready to face

As Ichiro uttered the names of his shikigami, the air crackled with energy, and his loyal shikigami materialized before him.

"Skoll and Hati, Griffin, Baku," Ichiro commanded.

Without hesitation, his shikigami leaped into action, attacking the Black Tortoise with precision and coordination. Griffin soared into the sky, its majestic form casting a shadow over the battlefield, while Hati replicated itself, creating a mini version of fierce wolves to assail the enemy. Baku summoned its minions, ethereal beings that swarmed around the Black Tortoise, gnashing their teeth in anticipation.

To Ichiro's surprise, most of the attacks from Hati, Griffin, and Baku seemed to have little effect on the Black Tortoise. Its formidable shell remained unscathed, and it stood its ground against the onslaught.

"Hmm, that Black Tortoise is quite durable," Ichiro mused, his excitement plastered on his face. "Does its ability have something to do with enhancing its durability or something?"

As Ichiro spoke, he observed the Black Tortoise closely, searching for any signs of weakness or clues to its abilities. Meanwhile, his shikigami continued their relentless assault, determined to uncover the secrets of their formidable opponent.

As Ichiro observed the Black Tortoise's movements, his interest was piqued by its sudden charge towards Baku. With relentless determination, the massive creature barreled towards the shikigami, ignoring the futile attempts of the minions to impede its progress. Baku stood its ground, but the impact of the Black Tortoise's attack caused significant damage to its left shoulder, eliciting a pained groan from the shikigami.

Before the Black Tortoise could follow up with another assault, Griffin swooped in, disrupting its balance with a well-timed aerial maneuver. Hati's wolves joined the fray, swarming around the Black Tortoise and harrying it from all sides. Despite their efforts, Ichiro noticed that none of his shikigami were able to inflict substantial harm on the creature. Even Griffin's disruptions were only temporary, and the Black Tortoise remained resilient.

"Hmm, this is not what I expected," Ichiro murmured "None of my shikigami can actually hurt it. Griffin can mostly disrupt it, but that's mostly it. Aside from that, its attacks are useless."

With a resigned sigh, Ichiro realized that he would have to face the Black Tortoise alone. It was a daunting prospect, but he was prepared to do whatever it took to emerge victorious against this formidable adversary.

With a surrendering sigh, Ichiro began to stride purposefully towards the Black Tortoise, his three shikigami converging around him. As he walked, they seamlessly melded into his shadow, their essences merging with his own. With a practiced motion, Ichiro reached out and touched his shadow, his hand disappearing into its depths.

As he withdrew his hand, a gleaming sword materialized in his grasp, its blade radiating with a potent energy. Ichiro examined the weapon with a sense of quiet resolve as he continued his advance towards the Black Tortoise.

"You see," Ichiro explained, his voice calm yet filled with conviction, "this sword is called Solid Strike Cleaver. Its ability allows me to cut through even the toughest materials or obstacles in this world. It's the opposite of the Split Soul Katana, which severs souls themselves."

A/N hey guys Author here I just want to let you know that I'll be changing the property of the solid strike cleaver I want this sword to be the opposite of the Split soul katana, the previous ability of solid strike cleaver is to cut any hard object,so I changed it so that not only hard object but also tough living curse spirit aswell or anything actually, so in short the solid strike cleaver allows the user to cut solid object or curse spirit

As Ichiro began explaining the capabilities of his sword to the Black Tortoise, a sudden surge of cursed energy erupted from within him, flowing into Solid Strike Cleaver with an ominous intensity. The air crackled with dark power as Ichiro's gaze narrowed, his focus squarely on his imposing adversary.

"So, I'm quite curious," Ichiro remarked, his voice tinged with a hint of determination. "Given that you're quite tough, I thought that maybe this sword can cut you? Well, there's only one way to find out, right?"

With a decisive motion, Ichiro pointed Solid Strike Cleaver upward, channeling the swirling currents of cursed energy into a focused attack. As he unleashed a downward slash towards the Black Tortoise, the dark energy erupted from the blade in a fan-shaped wave, hurtling towards its intended target.

Anticipating the attack, the Black Tortoise leaped to the side, but to its surprise, Ichiro was already waiting, his sword poised for another strike. With lightning reflexes, Ichiro attempted to target the creature's leg, but a sudden movement caught his eye.

'This will be a bit troublesome, if that's the case then,' Ichiro mused inwardly.

Reacting swiftly, Ichiro deflected the snake's counterattack, his mind racing as he formulated his next move.

"Red Dragon," Ichiro commanded.

Instantly, his shadow expanded, and from within emerged the imposing head of a dragon, its jaws gaping wide. With a swift motion, the Red Dragon lunged towards the Black Tortoise, attempting to ensnare it within its fiery maw. However, to Ichiro's dismay, the Black Tortoise became stuck in the dragon's mouth, thwarting its attempt to consume its prey.

Undeterred, the Red Dragon unleashed a torrent of scorching flames, aiming to incinerate its captive foe. Yet, much to Ichiro's surprise, the Black Tortoise withstood the inferno, its resilience defying the fiery onslaught.

Ichiro pondered his next move, realizing that defeating the Black Tortoise would require all of his cunning and strength.

"Oh, what a surprise. It seems you're quite tough," Ichiro remarked, his voice tinged with a mix of admiration and determination. "Red Dragon, throw it."

Responding to his master's command, the Red Dragon seized the Black Tortoise in its jaws and hurled it high into the air. As the creature soared overhead, Ichiro took a moment to steady himself, drawing in a deep breath and focusing his concentration.

"Alright then," Ichiro muttered, his voice steady as he prepared to unleash his next attack. With practiced precision, he gathered the swirling currents of cursed energy within himself, condensing them into a single point of intense power.

With a resolute exhale, Ichiro released the gathered energy directly towards the airborne Black Tortoise. Caught off guard and with no means of evasion, the creature could only brace itself as the concentrated blast of cursed energy slammed into its body.

"You may be tough, but you're not invincible, right?" Ichiro remarked, his tone a mix of challenge and determination.

As the Black Tortoise's body plummeted back to the ground, Ichiro observed with a mixture of surprise and excitement. Despite the ferocity of his attack, the creature had endured, albeit with slight grazes marring its formidable exterior.

"Damn this shikigami," Ichiro muttered inwardly, his excitement mounting. "That amount of cursed energy could level a mountain, and you just took it like it was nothing."

As Ichiro's grin widened with each passing moment, he couldn't help but admire the resilience of the Black Tortoise.

"But sadly, I already set my plans. I only need to buy some time," Ichiro thought to himself, his determination unwavering.

With a swift motion, Ichiro gathered the same cursed energy he had unleashed moments before, dispersing it in a wide arc around them.

"All right, it's now set. Now I just need some time before it takes effect," Ichiro declared, his voice confident and determined.

Drawing his sword, Ichiro dashed towards the Black Tortoise, ready to engage in combat once more. In response, the Black Tortoise launched its own attack, its massive form bearing down on Ichiro with menacing intent.

As Ichiro closed in on his adversary, the snake coiled around the snake on the Black Tortoise's body lunged forward, aiming to sink its fangs into Ichiro's flesh. However, to its surprise, its attack was thwarted as Ichiro's form shimmered with a protective barrier of cursed energy.

"Surprised? Well, that's because I've covered myself with cursed energy, so I doubt you could bypass it," Ichiro taunted, his voice laced with confidence.

With each strike and parry, Ichiro's determination burned brighter, knowing that every moment bought brought him closer to victory. He remained focused on his goal, prepared to outmaneuver and outlast his formidable opponent until his plans came to fruition.

After Ichiro successfully landed an attack on the Black Tortoise, he couldn't contain his amazement at the effectiveness of his strategy.

"Wow, to think it would actually work. Now, this changes the game to a whole different level," Ichiro exclaimed, his voice filled with a mix of surprise and excitement.

With newfound determination, Ichiro pressed forward, aiming to capitalize on his advantage. However, the Black Tortoise, sensing the danger, quickly backed away, creating distance between them.

Undeterred by the retreat, Ichiro remained focused, his confidence unwavering.

"Heh, even if you backed away, I've already made the preparations. It's all a matter of time before it works," Ichiro declared, his tone laced with certainty.

As he watched the Black Tortoise retreat, Ichiro's eyes gleamed with determination. He knew that victory was within reach, and he was prepared to see his plans through to the end, no matter the obstacles that stood in his way.

With each passing moment, Ichiro remained poised and ready, knowing that his patience and preparation would ultimately lead him to triumph over his formidable adversary.

As Ichiro menacingly glared at the Black Tortoise, he focused his energy, gathering the swirling currents of cursed power into a single, concentrated point. The Black Tortoise, sensing the impending danger, moved to intercept Ichiro, charging at him with astonishing speed.

"Wow, it's already received a massive amount of damage, but to think it can still run, and it seems it's not showing any tiredness," Ichiro observed, his mind racing to assess the situation. "Now I'm sure its ability revolve around enhancing itself"

As Ichiro pondered the Black Tortoise's abilities, a sudden jolt rocked him as he was unexpectedly tossed to the side. Confusion and alarm flashed across his face as he struggled to comprehend what had just occurred.

"What? What just happened?" Ichiro exclaimed, his voice tinged with disbelief

"I was just looking at the Black Tortoise. Is there another enemy!?"

As Ichiro's gaze darted frantically from side to side, searching for the culprit behind the sudden attack, his eyes widened in realization as he spotted the Black Tortoise occupying his previous position.

"I see, so it was you," Ichiro muttered, a mixture of surprise and admiration coloring his voice. "And to think you're not only durable but quite fast too. Interesting."

A wry smile crossed Ichiro's lips as he assessed his formidable opponent. Despite the surprise attack, he remained undeterred, his determination burning brighter than ever.

"Well then, let's see how long you can fight," Ichiro challenged, his voice dripping with anticipation. "You better not disappoint me."
