Magneto and Xavier were longtime friends turned adversaries, each with their own vision for mutantkind. As Wanda and John's conversation continued, Magneto and Xavier's discussion turned heated, reflecting the clash between them.
Wanda looked over at the two men, a mixture of emotions crossing her features. John placed a comforting hand on her shoulder, silently offering his support. "We all have our own demons, Wanda," he said softly. "The important thing is what we choose to do now, and how we move forward."
Wanda nodded, feeling a sense of reassurance in John's words. She knew that she couldn't change her past actions, but perhaps she could still make a difference in the future.
As the tension between Magneto and Xavier intensified, it became clear that a confrontation was imminent. Wanda and John exchanged a knowing look, silently acknowledging the brewing storm.
"Moroeover you didn't try to hurt me in anyway, neither did you cause any trouble for me even if you were following me all the time. Why would I blame you for nothing?" John spoke.
Wanda contemplated a bit but didn't reply to John's statement.
John looked at Wanda with empathy in his eyes. "We've all made mistakes, Wanda. And I believe in giving people the chance to make amends and change. I see the good in you, despite your past actions."
Wanda's eyes softened, as if she couldn't believe someone could see past her faults. "But why?" she asked again, her voice fragile.
"Because I believe that everyone deserves a second chance, Wanda. And I believe that you're capable of making things right," John replied, his voice unwavering.
Wanda looked at him, a glimmer of hope in her eyes. Perhaps, for the first time, she was starting to believe in herself again. "Thank you," she whispered, her voice raw with emotion.
John smiled softly and reached out, offering his hand to her. "We'll figure it out together, Wanda. You're not alone in this."
As Wanda took his hand, she felt a sense of relief wash over her. Maybe, just maybe, she didn't have to go through everything alone. And for the first time in a long time, she allowed herself to embrace the support and understanding that John offered.
John was secretly glad that Charles had arrived at an appropriate time. John was completely exhausted after fighting with Magneto and he knew that their confrontation would have ended with his defeat. Magneto was currently far more experienced and powerful than him. Also the fight before the arrival of Magneto and destruction of the base had taken quite a toll on him. Otherwise the confrontation between Magneto and him would have unpredictable results.
"I forgot to ask, what actually happened between the two people and you who I saw lying next to you in the underground chamber?" John asked about Natasha and Hawkeye.
"Those guys were following you too and I got suspicious of their goal when I found out that they were rushing towards the base while you were busy fighting. So I followed them and decided to see what they were upto. Not long after I saw them entering the underground chamber with the help of a person inside the base. They were here to take those mutant kids with them. Still I had no idea whether they were good or bad people, so I just knocked them unconscious with my powers," Wanda explained.
'So SHIELD wanted to recruit all the mutants in their force while using me as a pawn and take the blame for the disappearance of the mutants after?' John wondered after the explanation given by Wanda.
He tried to recover his stamina while observing the two people hovering in the air. He next moment Charles and Magento started fighting.
John silently observed as Charles and Magneto clashed in the air, their powers creating a spectacle of energy and force. He made mental notes of their tactics, movements, and use of their powers, hoping to learn and improve from witnessing their battle.
As he kept an eye on the ongoing fight, his Observation Haki spread out, scanning for any sign of Juggernaut's return. He couldn't afford to be caught off guard, especially with his current depleted state.
The fight between Charles and Magneto was intense, each of them unleashing their powers with calculated precision. John could feel the raw power emanating from them, and he knew that he had a long way to go before he could match their level of mastery.
Despite his exhaustion, John was determined to learn from this experience and grow stronger. As the battle raged on, he continued to observe and analyze, seeking to gain valuable insights that could aid him in his own future confrontations.
John continued to observe their battle, noticing the intense exchange of magnetic forces and telekinetic powers between the two adversaries. He could tell that Charles was struggling to keep up with Magneto's ferocity, but he also saw the determination in Charles' eyes.
As the battle raged on, John's Observation Haki picked up on the faint presence of Juggernaut making his way back to the scene. John knew that he needed to act quickly or else the situation would become even more chaotic. With a burst of effort, John forced himself to his feet and charged towards Juggernaut, knowing that he had to keep him away from the ongoing battle.
Taking advantage of his speed, John intercepted Juggernaut before he could reach the battleground. The two clashed with tremendous force, the ground shaking from the impact. John knew that he couldn't match Juggernaut's raw strength, but he relied on his Observation Haki to anticipate and dodge the incoming attacks. It was a fierce battle, but John was determined to hold Juggernaut at bay and prevent him from joining the fight.
Moroeover John had his Quake Quake Fruit to counter the raw power of Juggernaut.
Meanwhile, he could see in the distance that Charles was starting to gain the upper hand against Magneto. His telekinetic powers were overwhelming Magneto's control over metal, and John felt a surge of hope as he continued to fend off Juggernaut. He knew that Charles was a formidable opponent, and he had full trust in his abilities to handle Magneto.
Wanda too despite her exhaustion helped John in fighting the Juggernaut.
As the battle continued, John's stamina was being pushed to the limit, but he refused to back down.
Just before he could react a John was punched in his abdomen and was forcefully sent sprawling backwards while crushing the trees in his path. Though he had the Observation Haki, John failed to react to the punch as he was deeply exhausted and his body refused to move as quickly as before. He still managed to reduce the impact of the blow using his Quake Quake Fruit and Haki.
