Our hands never abandoned each other.
Our skin never stopped feeling each other.
And our bodies were never too far apart from each other.
With little smiles on our faces and feelings that couldn't be replicated, we walked together to my house. I had invited Marin for dinner and she had accepted.
In no time we reached my house and Marin was a little nervous since she was my girlfriend now. She said that she was nervous to meet my mother.
I laughed and told her it was fine. She didn't have to be nervous.
We quickly reached my house and I opened the door and said, "I am home!!"
The rapid footsteps of an animal on four legs sounded first, followed by the sound of someone walking elegantly.
Kurumi was the first to reveal herself and she came running up to me with a wide smile and tails wagging behind.
She whined when I touched her ears and scratched her chin, "Good girl, did you miss me?"
On the other hand, Marin looked at us with a dumbfounded expression, "You have a dog?" She asked.
Oh right, I haven't told her about Kurumi.
"Right, I never mentioned it." I said and Marin pouted and glared at me. 'Why did you not tell me before, I wanted to know everything about you.' Her expression seemed to say, or maybe I am thinking too much.
"It's been a...few months? Anyways meet Kurumi." I introduced her and Marin crouched down and put out her arm.
Kurumi was wary at first and after a quick sniff of her hand, she turned to me, she smelled my scent on her hand. I gave a nod and she reluctantly moved towards Marin and let her pat her fur.
"Whaaaa~ So soft." Marin said as she ran her hand through Kurumi. She couldn't hold herself back and tightly hugged the surprised wolf.
"And fluffy. I love it." Marin said while rubbing her cheeks on the now creeped-out wolf.
"Oh Yuito, you've come home." I heard Sumire's voice and turned to her. She paused, "And you brought a guest."
"Hi Fujita san." Marin said formally and gave a nervous wave.
"Hi Kitagawa. Come on in." Sumire revealed a small smile and we went inside after taking off our shoes.
"Umm. Mom." I started, my voice awkward. "You already know but this is Marin Kitagawa." I said and Marin stood beside me, fidgeting nervously with a healthy red on her cheeks.
Huh. Who would've thought introducing the two girls you love to each other would be such an awkward affair. Seeing both of them like this, I realized how selfish this was.
"We started dating and she is now.." I did not know why I paused for suspense there. "..my girlfriend."
Sumire flinched before freezing in her place. She stayed quiet and looked at Marin with squinted eyes while the golden haired girl shied away from her gaze.
Then Sumire turned to me and I couldn't read her at all. But then she finally chuckled and her lips stretched into a smile.
'Safe.' I mentally sighed in relief.
"Isn't that nice. ufufufufu." Sumire said with a teasing smile to Marin. "Must be nice to be young."
To my relief, after that nothing serious happened and we all had a nice and hearty dinner. I was especially eager to finally eat Sumire's cooking again after being starved of it the whole day.
Marin and Sumire also began chatting and got familiar with themselves even though they had an awkward start. Sumire was still very young so she had no trouble talking with Marin about whatever topic was brought up.
However, the dynamics between them couldn't be that of friends due to their age gap. The interaction between them was like sisters or a student and teacher.
Especially after finding common ground on what they love most - which was me of course - they were getting along. Marin was always very eager to learn about my childhood and Sumire was happy to provide.
Sadly just after dinner, Marin decided to return home. I made sure to walk her home till her house was visible and we had a peaceful, romantic moment under the celestial bodies in the dark sky.
"Today was awesome." Marin said and stopped. She turned towards me with sparkling eyes and a stunning smile.
"Thank you. I won't forget this day. Ever." She said and I laughed.
"Don't act like this will be the only day. There are more to come...if you want." I said sheepishly, trying to be the rizz God but failing because I just couldn't gather the confidence.
"I'd love that." Marin said, her voice low and sincere.
Then she stood on the tip of her toes and kissed me on my lips. It was only a touch, a brief contact. But it was enough to shake my world.
Then Marin swerved on her heels and ran away from me. I caught a glimpse of her bashful face as I smiled.
"Get home safe!!" I yelled and Marin replied with an echoing "Haiii!!!"
I continued watching from a distance until she safely returned to her own house. Yes, I have walked her to her home.
After what happened before, I wouldn't take any risk again. I wanted to make sure she reached home safely.
After confirming that she was indeed safe and sound, I turned around and sprinted towards my home. My speed was faster than a normal car and I was not tired at all due to my sun breathing.
In no time I reached my house when I entered it, I felt a weird atmosphere hit me. I looked forth and caught the sight of Sumire standing near the living room.
"Girlfriend huh." She said with a smile that did not feel like a smile.
'God of Harem, bless me.'

Marin closed the door behind her and her back immediately used it as support. With her back on the door, her body slide down until she was curled up on the door.
"Ahhhhhh!!~" She let out a shrilling scream full of joy but that was not enough as her legs rapidly tap the floor. Her body couldn't handle the amount of joy in her body.
She didn't even notice the lonely house of her's as her feeling right now triumph over everything else.
She touched her lips, she could still feel the shadow of his lips on her's. She licked her own lips, trying to remember his taste.
"Yu~i~to~"
She recalled the event which transpired today lovingly in her mind as she changed her clothes and took a shower.
After she was done, she flopped on the bed with the new octopus plushie he had won for her. She raised it up and observed it with infinite love and affection.
The way she wander around the mall. The way she tried her best not to pressure him to spend any money. The way he asked her out. The way he tried to win the plushie with his terrible skills. The way he miraculously succeed.
She burned the memory at the core of her mind. She will treasure it forever. She would never forget it.
She hugged the octopus plushie - which weirdly reminds her of Yuito - on her chest, her mind was fully conquered by his image alone. Her heart fluttered and her stomach jumped inside of her.
A gril too deep in love. Maybe she loved way too much.
More than she should.
"Yuito~"
