章節 23: (Chapter 20) Destruction
Minamoto looked over his daughter as he clenched his teeth, he put her down need a tree and looked back to see the madman grinning towards him
He narrowed his eyes as he looked towards the man that dared to attack his home and injure his daughter
'You're a fool if you think I'm going to let you get away with this' stated Minamoto calmly as he eyed the blonde
'Your pretty fast for a geezer but you think a relic like you could match me?!' came the man's reply as he held his stomach before laughing
'gehahhaha!' but he soon regretted doing so, dodging to the left as he nearly got struck down by a flaming arc of pure destruction
The slash left nothing left in its path as it charred the earth below it and burned down the trees that stood in its way
Shiki turned back only to see the old man coming straight for him, he didn't have time to draw his own blade as he covered his arms with haki
His teeth clenched as he could feel his skin getting burned underneath the layer of haki as he kicked the old man away
Minamoto blocked with his blade as he slid back embedding his legs into the ground stopping himself from crashing into a tree
"What the fuck was that Did he eat a devil fruit!? No... If he did so that wouldn't have burned me, still what kind of bizarre technique is that?!" As he huffed and looked the geezer in the eye
Under that facade of calmness lay a raging beast, A beast out to hunt and devour the prey that had stumbled upon its home
Shiki's visage grimed as he drew his blades and rushed the old man, Minamoto did the same as their blades clashed as the sounds of metal clashing against one another reverberated around the field
Shiki's teeth clenched not expecting the geezer would be this strong, his blade soon turned from black to golden yellow as he used emission to coat his blade
'Your a thousand years too early to come to challenge me!' barked out Minamoto as the flames around his blade grew even brighter
Shiki touched the ground as two large boulders came out and started flying towards Minamoto
He just scoffed before slicing them in half, as Shiki appeared behind him and landed a strike clean on his back
"What the-" He was confused as he felt like he had just struck a metal post only for the old man's top to fall off revealing his back covered in a black substance
"He knows haki?!" but before he could pounder on the revelation anymore he floated up only to be followed by the old man as he tailed the golden lion
'Do you think you can escape me?! Flame Breathing eighth form! Wrath of fire!' as he sent a large barrier of flame towards the golden lion
'Divine arc!' screamed out the blonde as he sent a golden arc towards the barrier, exploding as soon as they contacted each other
His breath hitched as he looked around, "The woman's gone" he thought as he used his observation haki to sense where she was, as she wouldn't have gotten far
He soon turned his head towards the west as he saw the woman being carried away by a brat
His frown turns to a feral grin, 'Heaven's judgement!' as he sent a diagonal air slash right towards the pair
Only for the slash to be intercepted by geezer, He snarled before dashing towards Minamoto

Newgate's den-den mushi rung as he took it out and pressed the answer button 'Who is it?!'
'Xahahahha! Newgate don't be so hostile where are you?' came the voice of his "Captain"
'I'm on my way to the main city' he replied nonchalantly as he jumped towards their main target
He could sense that Shiki was busy with something else towards the east side of the island as he took another leap
A few moments went by in silence as Xebec digested the Info 'Destroy it' came his simple reply
Newgate soon landed on a hill near the city 'What do you mean destroy it?!' he replied as he froze in his tracks
'Destroy it completely no survivors so you can quickly get me that blade' As soon as he heard that, did his teeth clench as he looked towards the city
He almost hung up right there and then but before he could do so the words that came out of the snails shook him to his core
'If I don't hear from Shiki that the place was completely destroyed ill give your home island a visit' came his simple reply before hanging up
Newgate's crushed the snail in his hands as he looked down towards the ground, he soon took a leap rocketing high into the sky
"Forgive me..."
he clenched his fist as a white halo covered it and 'GEKISHIN!' he screamed out punching the air as cracks formed
*BOOOOOM*
A large dust cloud covered the place where the once proud city lay as screams could be heard from down below
He lands right in the middle before 4 figures surround him, 'WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!' came the voice of Kyoku as he drew his blade rushing towards him, Newgate sighed as he got ready to fight as held his naginata tightly

Wasn't able to do the double upload today since I had 0 sleep last night and was barely even functional during the day
Anyways I'll try to upload 3 chaps tomorrow since I missed one today and we're already at 15 power stones,
Ps I might change it to 10 power stones per extra chap since we're hitting the goal way too quickly now either way for now just gimme more stones >:0
