"This implies that Rahap is an incredibly formidable adversary and is actively in the process of building his forces. We must locate his stronghold without delay."

"Absolutely! You should consider seeking help from Dagon, your ancestor, as you're aiding him in some way, and reciprocation seems only fair," Adam proposed.

"Okay, I'll give it a shot," Jacob replied, but hesitated as he realized that Ray was currently in the bathroom.

"Unfortunately, we can't discuss this matter here; Ray is in the bathroom. Let's find another spot where we can talk freely," Jacob suggested.

"Agreed!" Adam said before the two of them exited the room, eager to continue their conversation in a more suitable setting.

They walked around the school looking for a safe spot but they couldn't find one as the final bell rang, signaling the end of all the classes for the day.

"Oh no the classes are over, what do we do now?" Jacob inquire.

" I've heard rumors about a hidden backyard behind the gymnasium that no student dared to venture into, it is just outside the school wall. Do you think we should go? Adam responded.

"I don't think that is a good idea, but it's not like I've got a better one so lead the way, "Jacob said.

The two boys made their way towards the back of the school. The sun was beginning to set, casting long shadows across the deserted playground. The air was tinged with an eerie silence, giving the surroundings a mystifying quality.

The moment they reached the gymnasium's rear wall, they saw the overgrown foliage concealing the rumored backyard.

Heartbeats quickened as they pushed through the tangled bushes, emerging into a small, secluded area shielded from prying eyes. The sight that greeted them froze them in their tracks.

Six lifeless bodies lay sprawled on the ground, bathed in the fading light. Shock and horror coursed through their veins as they took in the ghastly scene.

Each student bore strange bite marks on their neck as if a vampire had attacked them. Fear gnawed at the edges of their minds as they tried to comprehend the unimaginable tragedy before them.

The reasons for the name forbidden backyard took on a chilling significance that now felt far more real than they could ever have anticipated.

Jacob rushed forward, his instincts pushing him to check on the victims. However, Adam hesitated, feeling a deep unease about their current situation. "Jacob, we should call for help! This is serious!" Adam urged, attempting to head back to the school.

But Jacob's kindness-fueled curiosity took over. "We need to see if they're still alive, Adam. There might be something we can do!" he replied, his voice trembling with a mix of dread and determination.

They approached the first body cautiously, kneeling down beside it. Jacob gently checked for a pulse, but his worst fears were confirmed – the student was lifeless. The bite marks on the victim's neck were peculiar.

An overwhelming sense of dread settled in as they realized they were standing in the aftermath of something inexplicable and malevolent.

"This is the doing of that vampire, I should have killed it that night," Jacob voiced out in an angry tune.

"I know that, but look at this. These bite marks are not the same, it is evident from the marks that the teeth shapes are different there is more than one vampire," Adam said as he pointed to one of the bodies.

They moved to examine the other victims. Each student's lifeless form shared the same terrifying fate but different marks. The evidence suggested an otherworldly predator lurking somewhere, a reality that sent shivers down their spines.

Adam placed his right hand on one of the students.

"Let me use my ability if I can see what happened here," Adam said to Jacob before turning back to the body and murmuring something.

Just then, Adam's eyes color completely changed to white and his head began shaking.

Jacob was just standing quietly close to Adam, a rustling noise behind him jolted him into alertness. Turning around, he caught a glimpse of a shadowy figure moving amidst the bushes. Fear gripped him tighter as his eyes met the eerie gaze of an unknown creature – its eyes glowing like fiery embers in the twilight.

'What the hell is that?' Jacob thought.

Jacob immediately tried to wake Adam and bring him back to reality from wherever his mind was. Just then, Adam's eyes changed back to normal as he let out a scream.

"Jacob we have to run now!" Adam commanded with fear in his voice.

Without a moment's hesitation, they bolted from the backyard, racing towards the school building. Panic and desperation fueled their every step. They needed to alert the authorities and get help for the injured if there were any hope left.

"We have to run fast, as fast as your leg can carry you we have to get out of here," Adam said.

"What is the problem? What did you see," Jacob inquired.

"I saw something really bad I will give you the details later but first, we need to head to safety."

Upon reaching the school, Jacob and Adam frantically informed the principal and the school staff about the horrifying scene they had discovered.

The atmosphere quickly shifted from that of a normal school day to one of chaos and confusion. Teachers rushed to lock down the premises and called for an emergency meeting, while the school nurse and other staff members prepared to offer any assistance they could.

As the news spread, fear gripped the students and teachers alike. The authorities launched an immediate investigation, sealing off the backyard and launching a search for what so ever is responsible for the dreadful tragedy.
