Arlan opened the car door and saw three unconscious men. Their limbs were tied tightly using clothes. Even their mouths were sealed to prevent them from shouting or making a commotion.

Arlan grabbed one of them and slapped him three times.

"Argh!" Soon, the man groaned and slowly opened his eyes.

When he saw Arlan in front of him, the man's eyes widened in shock.

"Who sent you here?" Arlan asked in a low voice. Arlan's chilling gaze bored into the man's eyes, making him shiver unknowingly.

Arlan grabbed the cloth stuffed inside the man's mouth. "Your survival depends on your answers. I know that you are only sent by someone. If you tell me who that person is, I'll consider sparing your life."

The man stared at him hesitantly upon hearing his words. "W-Will you truly spare my life?" He was only an old member of the cartel, but he valued his life more.
