After Axel made quick work of The Crusher, an old man approached him and started to talk to him again, this time with more kindness and respect. The old man had been doing this job for too long. He knows when he encounters a good fighter and not a nobody who thinks that they are strong because of power drunkenness, which comes from the use of Nen.
"Would you like to see the gambling room? You'll get a better sense of what this place is like there."Also, you will have to join fights that are more suited to your power level and have some meaning and fun, as well as earn money from your battles.
Axel nodded in agreement, intrigued by the idea of a new challenge. The old man led him to a small back room, filled with people sitting at tables and placing bets on various fighters. Axel felt a rush of excitement as he saw the various fighters waiting for their turn to battle, all with their own unique fighting styles.
At the same time, the place and the rings he sees are more well-made and sophisticated than the first ring he tried on.
He can see fifteen rings on the screens. The old man then spoke in a simple tone.
"You need to fight one more time against an average Nen user before entering the real battles." It would raise your profile and allow you to compete in higher-level fights."
Axel nodded and spoke. "Yeah, I understand the reason for it."
As he waited for his turn to fight, Axel watched the other matches, studying his potential opponents and their moves. Finally, his name was called, and he walked to the ring with a confident grin. His opponent was a muscular man with a wild look in his eyes, and Axel could tell that he was in for a tough fight.
The fight was intense, with both fighters exchanging blows and dodging attacks. But Axel's training and newfound nen abilities gave him an advantage, and he managed to land several powerful blows that knocked his opponent down. The crowd cheered as Axel was declared the winner, and the old man approached him again.
"Impressive," he said. "You've got real talent." But to make it big in this world, you need a ring name. and a gamble."
Axel thought for a moment before responding. "Call me "Void," and what kind of gamble do you have in mind?"
The old man grinned, his eyes shining with excitement. "I've got a special match in mind." "You'll be fighting against some of the toughest fighters in the underground, and the prize is one of the most valuable objects in the world of nen."
Axel's interest was piqued. "What is it?"
"It's called the Mystic Rose." It's a legendary item that has the power to amplify your Neen abilities even further. It's said that whoever possesses it becomes nearly invincible.
Axel's eyes widened at the thought of such power. "I'm in. "What do I have to do?"
The old man explained the rules and conditions of the match, and Axel accepted without hesitation. He knew that this was his chance to prove himself as a skilled fighter and gain even more power with the help of the Mystic Rose. The next day, he entered the ring with a newfound determination, ready to take on any opponent that crossed his path.
