I still couldn't see the enemy anywhere, Miya got snipped, and I couldn't even guess where they were!
Considering my options, I only have one thing I can do now.
Run-
And that I did.
I heard their footsteps trailing behind me as I ran, my heart was going at a million miles a second I couldn't let them get me, not now.
"Move faster!"

Tom and Jerry were tossed in the back of a dark room, and the door locked.
Tom got up from the ground, his arm still tied behind his back.
He tried to run the door down many times over but it was no use, He couldn't do it.
He staggered back to the ground, only to immediately try again.
After an hour of trying, he fell to the ground, and that weird device fell out of his pocket.
Though he didn't notice it and went to try again, Jerry did.
"Hey, Tom?" Jerry spoke up.
"Not now, jerry im-" Tom responded, but Jerry's next question threw him off.
"What's this?"
Tom looked back, hoping it wasn't what he thought it was.
But there it was, on the ground in plain sight.
"It's nothing." Tom snapped, quickly moving the thing out of Jerry's sight.
"Tom.."
Tom sighed and sat down.
"It's a device that hacks all nearby devices.."
"And yes that includes life supports and inserted gamer equipment, It was supposed to be used if we were somehow losing and-"
"You still don't trust them?" Jerry interrupted once again with a look of disappointment on his face.
"No, it's just," He sighed out loud.
"I don't want to lose my job, I still haven't finished what I had to do-"
"Which is?" Jerry asked.
"Nothing you should worry about. We need to find a way out of here."
"Fine, but we're not done with this-"
Tom turned back, slightly irritated.
"What more is there to talk about?!"
"Your end goal for example!" Jerry shouted back.
"Why are you even a cop in the first place?! What did you have to do!"
"Why are you so invested in these goddamn kids so much that you made backup plans!?"
The two of them stood there, silently staring at each other in pure anger.
...
"I don't have time for this...."

[Forest terrain]
I stopped for a hot minute to relax.
Hiding behind a bush. It was hard for me to catch my breath.
I didn't know what to do.
"Just come out already!" I heard the voice of that guy again as lightning struck through the bush, almost hitting me.
I fell back, trying to regain my composure but...I also felt that I...
Already lost...
Before I even knew what was happening the girl with blue hair was already over me, attempting to strike me down with the dagger she had in hand.
I raised my dagger to try and retaliate.
I opened my eyes, prepared for the game over the screen.
"No way..."
I said to myself.
My dagger went straight through her stomach.
Making her stagger to the ground and she died.
"No way.." I said excitedly.
"ARIEL WAS ELIMINATED!!!"
"No way!!"
"I have a chance!"
"I have a....chance."
My eyes slowly shut and my character fell to the ground.
Turns out my dagger wasn't the only one that landed.
"HARU WAS ELIMINATED!!!"
