Alpha Lucifel asked again, feigning sympathy as he looked at the shivering young vampiress, "Why are you shivering, Hazel?"

Hazel looked up at the man, trying to get the image out of her head. She couldn't understand why she was feeling this way right in front of him. Asides from that, on looking at this man, it seemed he had something up his sleeve that he was about to do and she prayed it wasn't what she had in mind. It shouldn't be!

But unfortunately...

She looked at the man, entirely terrified and trying to guess if this was the time to do whatever she wanted to.

"What is it with you? I almost mistook you for Duke Richard who is so fluent with the court affairs," his voice resonated into her ears, and every word lashed out resembling a mockery of some sort. He shook his head as if suddenly agitated before he took her chin in his hands, "and then here you are, already freaking out? This is unbelievable, I must say!"
