{The seventh item for auction today is a spirit bone that was found quite recently by a spirit master in the Heaven Dou forest. The spirit beast that had died and left behind the spirit bone was nowhere to be found, so we don't know which spirit beast the bone is from, but…}
{The spirit bone is estimated to be at least over 200000 years, and even more especially, it is an external spirit bone}
{Starting bid is 100000000 gold coins, and every increase in price has to be at least 10000000}
As the auctioneer said this, the people watching the auction first had their brains go into shock… a 200000-year-old external spirit bone?
Who wouldn't want that? All the auction rooms with people who had the funds began to make bids to acquire the spirit bone.
Meanwhile, in Houryu's room, he simply watched the prices going up as he thought to himself, 'I wonder, can I merge with those spirit bones?' Houryu wondered thoughtfully, as anything that could boost his powers was welcome to him, but as he wasn't sure about it he decided not to bother making a move.
Qing Ya, who was his hostess looked at Houryu with a bit of confusion in her eyes as he hadn't shown any interest, or even bothered to bid on any of the items that were brought out for auction. The way he sat in the chair and kept patting his pet as he looked uninterested in the auction process, baffled her.
Was there someone who wouldn't even twitch at the possibility of owning any of the things that the auction house had brought out? Yet Houryu looked as if he had seen it all and there was nothing the auctioneer had brought out so far that had even managed to make him react.
Qing Ya was beginning to get antsy at the possibility of Houryu not buying, as it wouldn't look good on her records that she had not been able to get the person who she was attending to buy something in the auction. It could even end up decreasing her rank amongst the hostesses at the auction house, but there was nothing much she could do about it as she had the instinctive feeling to not bother trying to coax him into trying to buy anything. She didn't know what would happen if she went against her instincts, but she did not bother trying to find out.
The spirit bone was finally sold at 250 million gold coins and it was finally time for the 8th item.
{Our 8th item for the night is quite a special one and it should have been the 9th item to be sold if not for a few issues,}
{Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you a recently found journal, written by the one and only Dou God, Tang San}
The moment that name came out of her mouth, the whole auction house took a deep breath and went silent, but the next moment, the excitement in the air was almost palpable and so was the greed.
Even Houryu sat up in his chair, 'Did something like this even exist in the original story?' This was the question flying around in Houryu's head at first, but since he had not really known much about the soul land II storyline, he just shrugged it off.
'If it was a diary of Tang San, then it could contain information about natural treasures that could help hasten Sylvia's growth,' Houryu thought excitedly, but then the next words of the auctioneer interrupted his thoughts.
{Unfortunately, this journal seems to be sealed with a very complicated and mysterious seal that we haven't been able to break yet before bringing it out for auction}
{The seal seems to have been made when Dou God Tang San was almost breaking through to Dou God and that is why we weren't able to break the seal quickly… but we speculate that this journal may contain some secrets about breaking through to Dou God}
The auction house was already in a frenzy at this point as people were just waiting for her to state the price so they could start bidding immediately, everyone and their mothers wanted to get their hands on Tang San's journal.
{The starting bid is 1 billion gold coins and every increase in the price should be at least 50 million gold coins} The auctioneer stated boldly.
The price was very high, but just the likelihood of a hint to reach godhood was worth more than that, and the only reason the price wasn't higher was that, firstly, it wasn't guaranteed that there'd be a method to help one achieve godhood, and secondly, nobody knew if they'd truly be able to remove the seal on the journal.
It wasn't even 30 seconds after the auctioneer had mentioned the starting bid, yet the current bid was already double the starting bid,
{2 billion gold coins have been bid from room #10}
{2 billion 200 million gold coins have been bid from room #5}
{2 billion 500 million gold coins have been bid from room #13}
The bids kept on rising until suddenly,
{Te… ten billion gold coins has been bid from room #17}
Everybody in the auction house who was listening felt like they had heard wrongly, and Qing Ya who was in room #17 could almost hear her jaw drop when she heard the price that Houryu had just bid,
"I've always wanted to do that," Houryu muttered, a slight smile on his face.

Lately I've been dealing with a severe lack of motivation to write new chapters for this book... It's annoying cuz the ideas are ther, but I just don't feel like writing it,
There's also the fact that ideas for other fan fics keep popping up in my head, but I simply don't have the time nor the energy to write 3 books all at once right now.
So, I decided to hold a poll.
