章節 25: Chapter 024- New Hokage Building

"Hashirma-sama, it has been a long time since I saw you." Sarutobi said respectfully after getting to meet the legendary Senju Hashirama. When Sarutobi was little, he did manage to meet Hashirama several times because of his relation with Tobirama, so they are already acquainted with each other.

Though they are not that close, Hasirama already considered Sarutobi as part of his family because of him having half senju bloodline.

"Haha....You don't have to call me in such a respectful manner. Just call me Hasirama, we are family anyway." Hashirama said with a big smile on his face. Even though he didn't feel the time passing by nor felt any kind of sadness when he was in the pure world, he was still quite happy to get his life back and meet all the people that he left behind.

"No, it would be too disrespectful....." Sarutobi didn't finish his sentence as he saw Hashirama getting upset, so he quickly changed his words and said, "Then how about I call you senpai?"

Even though Sarutobi didn't fully followed his words, Hashirama's mood at least return to normal as he said, "No problem. Though I would still prefer if you would call me without any honorifics."

Sarutobi slightly shook his in a helpless manner. Even though Sarutobi isn't afraid of anyone with his current strength, he still decided to manage the basic courtesy to those who deserves it. Only that way, he would be able to get others to admire him and earn their loyalty.

Being disrespectful to others wouldn't earn him anything except the scorn and disgust and maybe fear if he acts tyrannically. He wants his followers to truly like him and follow him with their own will and finally become loyal to him.

Sarutobi decided to present himself as a person who is respectful and kind toward others. But he would not be soft-hearted when necessary. People that would follow him would know him as a merciful Hokage while those who oppose him would wish it would have been better if they didn't know him at all.

"Anyway, Hashirama senpai, I have something important to discuss with you. I wonder if you have time right now?" Sarutobi asked.

"Yes, come inside the house. I have already met Mito and I am quite free right now." Hashirama said as he led Sarutobi inside the drawing room.

As Sarutobi sat down, he put some fuinjutsu barrier around the room as he cleared his throat and said, "Madara is still alive."

Hashiram jumped out of his seat hearing this and denied instantly, "It can't be. I killed him with my very own hands."

Sarutobi simply stayed sited as he let Hashirama calm down and then said, "I know this is hard for you to believe. But from the clues that I have managed to gather over the years, I am quite sure that he didn't die during the battle with you. He survived and seems to be hiding somewhere."

"Even though I didn't manage fully pinpoint his exact hiding location, I roughly know that he is hiding somewhere in the Otsutsuki clan's ruins." Sarutobi said.

'I managed to get this information from the anime. In the anime, Kabotu managed to find this hidden location at the start of the fourth shinobi war. So, as long as things don't deviate from the canon this should be the secret hideout Madara is using right now.' Sarutobi thought.

Even though Hashirama noticed the confidence in Sarutobi's voice, it was still hard for him to believe that Madara is still alive right now. So, he asked in a sceptical tone, "If he is really alive right now, why is he hiding? With his character, I don't think he would keep hiding from the ninja world even after my death!"

"You're right, Hashirama senpai. Normally, Madara would never do that. So, I can only think of two possible reasons for him to hide from the world. Either he trying to make some kind of plan to fulfil his ambition. Or he was way too injured from the fight with you and currently recuperating in the hope of immerging in front of the world with his full strength." Sarutobi presented his thoughts.

"So, I would like you to go with me to meet him. Even though, I would have no problem going toe to toe with him with my current strength, I don't want to let the situation develop in that direction. With your presence, it would be much easier to talk to him." Sarutobi added.

"Ok, I will go with you. Though I don't think we will be able to convince him to come back to the village after what I did to him." Hashirama said in a sad tone of voice. Even though Hasirama doesn't regret the decision that he made when last fighting with his best friend, it still left some pain in his heart. After all, Hasirama always considered Madara as a close brother.

"Then we will leave tomorrow." Sarutobi said. After exchanging some pleasantries with Hasirama and visiting Mito, he finally left the Senju compound and returned to his Hokage office.

"Hokage-sama, you summoned me?"

"Yes, I did. I have a job for you. But before I talk about the job, I will remind you that it is a very confidential matter. So, after you finish your work, I will seal your memory using fuinjutsu." Sarutobi explained to the carpenter that he summoned.

The carpenter didn't even flinch hearing this. He has been in this job for dozens of years. After getting involved in several cases like this, he was already quite used to it. So, he replied in a clam manner, "I have no problem with this, Hokage-sama."

Sarutobi nodded in satisfaction as he said, "Good. Then let me talk about your work. I am planning to create a new Hokage building. The exact planning would be like this....."

Sarutobi plans to create the new Hokage building directly where the space gate leading to the One piece world is. He will create this new building in a way so that the space gate is directly placed inside his Office room.

So, the general plan is to create two Hokage building one in each world both having the space gate inside his personal office building. That way, it will be way easier for Sarutobi to stay connected to both world.

Moreover, He decided to select two trusted secretary and give them the task of permanently staying in the office of each world. These two people will also be given full authority of traveling to the other world without needing any extra permission.

That way, Sarutobi will be able to keep himself informed of the important things in both world without needing to tire himself out having to constantly go back and forth.

".....That's the general plan. In order to safeguard from leaking any information about the space gate, the anbu will be guarding you all the time. You are also forbidden to leave the village until you fully finish your work." Sarutobi explained to the carpenter about his work and gave him some subtle warning in case he tries to do something he shouldn't do.

'Sigh! If I had the whole ninja world under my rule, I didn't have to take such measures to keep the knowledge of space gate a secret. As long as I reach the high level Super Kage, I will start my plan to conquer the ninja world.' Sarutobi thought in his heart.
