It seems like the author is using oC’s cuz he’s afraid of copywrite but then uses Ryan gosling but no others so I don’t really get it

Mc act like a child who just dream of being an adult.if everything this easy in Hollywood why are so many people struggling. And home alone in 1990 movie that just succeed due to 90's humor but if you release this type of movie 30 years later mainly it will be flop not to mention author wrote that it earn more than 300 million in north america it didnt earn that much in original earth. Last I don't like his character like with women who he sleep with he discarded them like trash,one in start and later Alexa Carla ...his maid literally said that she was trash. In interviews he boast that it was hard on everything ...film..book...we can understand it as publicity but reader really feel that he think it was hard work but he just copy from memory library. If it was my first Hollywood novel maybe I just enjoy it but after reading many I feel like a teenager wrote this
I've read up to chapter 228, where I've stopped. Not for any particular reason, but after chapter 180 or so, the book just wasn't fun to read anymore. The plot was getting repetitive with arc after arc of movie filming, promotions and articles, premieres, awards, and repeat. The novel itself is entertaining, and I liked it more than the author's other story with the Will MC, but it still didn't keep my attention all the way through. Majority of it is personal preference though. I'm not a fan of harem, and despite the author surprisingly writing women well, the romance fell flat. I liked the buildup between MC and the main girl, but when they finally got together it felt unsatisfying. Not to mention, the fact that she's okay sharing her man and supposedly gets turned on watching him with other girls. Just an excuse for forced harem in my opinion. There were also a few movies included that I had no interest in, so those arcs dragged on too long for me. Specifically Marriage Story and Green Book, I've never heard of or seen them and so I had no interest in the filming or release in the novel. Regardless the author did a good job writing the story, so check it out yourself and come to your own conclusion.
I like the story but if the author show more of how much profit the movie made in box office it will bring me much more satisfaction as movie profit is also a big part of its success and how much success it brings

It's a gem :) Just give it a try normally I never read things like this but it got suggest to me so I gave it a try and really love it so far :) Writing quality is top and there are little to none grammatical errors. Since I'm only chap 70 so far I still do have a long way to go and I looking forward to it. Good work author keep it up <3
Novel whose development is somewhat beyond reason. Becoming the owner of a film studio and a reincarnated soul from an alternative world is a great opportunity where no film has ever been produced. well, even though it's a bit boring with the current storyline that seems to be repeated over and over again, because of the dedication of novel updates to date, I feel that this is a consistent novel. Thank You!!

When I first read this I was hooked. But I became busy and fell off. I’m back now and was hoping you can do a quick summary of every 50 or 60 chapters? I left of at chapters 62.
Harem tag removed? the feeling is very bad, like the wife who in my eyes loves me, but is actually playing with another man behind my back .......................................
what interests me is this: after the 100th chapter, many descriptions disappear, including those about sales and fees (the hero says that the avatar earned more than 2 billion in real life and I will earn more and ...... where? how much?), fewer movie descriptions, more of a hero's routine. Of the 213 chapters, I read the last 20 with painful scrolling and with difficulty ...
A big problem I have with this novel is the drama and I feel most people that read far enough know what I’m talking about. If the drama was removed and the story had another storyline I believe it would flow better as the drama ruins the flow of the novel. An example being the drama about Will being a dad, for the conclusion to be pointless and if you took out this section of the novel nothing would have changed.

Is this going to be like Hollywood System? don't want to read a good book and then get disappointed at the latest chapters because of poor development. and is this harem?
This is a biased review as I like showbiz novels. As you may know these kind of novels tend to have little to no conflict but ppl like me read them just for satisfaction and 'feel good' factor. And the way this novel delivers these is on point. ( I won't give it full five stars because I hated the recent child drama) Overall, still a good novel. Good job author 👍

The story is quite good for the first 50-60 chapters. But there are several problems, that the author is ignoring. The story is stronly focused on the production of the films. But after some films the writing becomes repetitive. We will develop this film. Those are the actors. We film. Then one or two chapters about the release and thats it. There is little new in the chapters. Then there are the relationships, that are highly underdeveloped. There is no real love interest for the mc. At most there are some ons with some actresses, but there is nothing about real relationships. The only character, that has some kind of relationnship, that is at least partly explored is the relationship with his uncle. In the end the mc is a workaholic, that does nothing other than producing films.
I'm kinda conflicted writing this review, while i think it started great with a good lineup of movies and books that the mc intoduce into this new world, i got lost reading the arc where the mc collaborates with goof to make avatar. I just didn't care about this ceo of a company that works with politicians, and exploits it's workers and mc's beef with the guy Tl;dr - Great fanfiction if you still like it after the avatar arc then continue reading it, I'll read more and see if it gets interesting in the future
Its good but so much potential is wasted here like everyone else that does this genre. Its always production focused with nothing else. There is no romance or slice of life No proper system that gives missions or challenges. No real effort because of how they get their content from „systems“ The worst part is that it’s boring to read about how they make step by step popular movies because you now them anyway. Its also very rediculus how these mcs produce 3 different things in a year like book movie and series and ppl dont question how 1 person can do all of that.
would have been nice if mc is depicted as more human like not giving him every skill ever existed like singing , dancing , directing ,writing , cooking and many more no human can be that perfect . I liked my hollywood system because mc was not like some god like being he struggle , and showed development there is even chapters where system didn't help mc . he had to create a movie from scratch . your story's mc is like some immortal god playing in human realm . make it grounded close to reality but also far from it . then maybe It would be interesting to read . I litrally dropped this novel midway for sometime due to how predictable it was .

This is one of my favourite novels. I just have one question how will the mc deal with his enemies ??. Influential villains would send assassins after him or his loved ones. One main thing I loved about this novel is that mc hasn't settled down with his love interest early in the story . That threesom chapter was 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇

This is kind of late to explain, but if you're new to HK, welcome to a long journey, for starters I wanted to say, before you judge or rate the story, try to read at least 20 chapters and then, go on, drop the book if you want. The thing is, as of now, I have written 65+ chapters and my writing + the story just keep getting better. (published only 40+) Hope everyone enjoys Hollywood King, do ask any question you've got! :))
