Kong Lu would still occasionally pass by Xia He's house to take a look on his way to or from work. However, he did not do anything except stare at the house. The road outside did not belong to the Xia family and did not have Xia He's name on it. So long as Kong Lu did not do anything drastic, Xia He just let him do whatever he wanted. As long as it did not affect Deng Fan, she could tolerate anything.

However, her blissful days did not last long. One day, Old Madam Kong and Kong Li tailed Kong Lu to find out where Xia He lived. The two of them thought that Kong Lu had been going to the military compound district to look for Xia He, but they did not expect him to take a very different route. Xia He had moved to a new house!

"Look at that! What a big house! I wonder how much she paid for it!" Kong Li said excitedly as she touched the outer wall of Xia He's house.
