"Problem?" - Sakuya asked with a frown when she heard this - "What problem?"
Cloud frowned when he heard the question because he honestly didn't want to answer it.
"Is it that bad?" - Lindow asked as he raised an eyebrow because it was obvious that the former blond didn't want to talk about it.
"I think Onii-san doesn't want to tell you why he doesn't know what to do" - Shio said as she peeked out from the dragon's head.
"A girl?" - Sakuya asked in surprise as she looked at the cute 13 year old girl who was rocking her legs - "Who is she?"
"My name is Shio! That's the name Onii-chan gave me ~!" - Shio exclaimed with a smile as she jumped off the dragon's head.
"Watch out!" - Tsubaki exclaimed in terror, only to watch in surprise as the girl landed carefully and without kicking up a speck of dust - ". . ."
"That girl..." - Soma said seriously - "Does anyone else sense that something is wrong?"
". . ." - Lindow frowned at those words because he could instinctively sense that this girl was not human. Years of fighting the [Aragami] had made it a matter of course to detect her natural enemies.
"Shio..." - Cloud said as he looked at the girl, only to see her stick her tongue out at him.
Shio looked curiously at those present, only to pause his gaze on Soma for a few seconds before speeding up towards the dragon's head.
"Who is the girl?" - Tsubaki asked curiously as she could somehow sense the small connection the blond had made with the girl, which was surprising seeing as they had probably only been together for a few days.
"I'm Shio!!!" - exclaimed the girl with a huge grin as she rolled on top of the dragon's head - "Didn't I introduce myself already?"
"I think she wants to know, what you are" - Lindow said seriously.
"Hmm... good question" - replied Shio with an even bigger grin - "I am a member of the species you refer to as [Aragami]..."
"!" - those present widened their eyes in surprise because they were not expecting this kind of answer.
"Ha ha ha ha!" - Shio couldn't contain her laughter - "Look at those expressions, Onii-san ~!"
Cloud just looked at his friends' expressions with amusement before shaking his head,
"Is she telling the truth?" - Houki asked as she raised an eyebrow in surprise because she hadn't seen this situation coming.
"She doesn't lie," Cloud replied calmly.
"Wow..." - muttered Tsubaki as she looked at the little white-haired girl who was watching them curiously - "I never thought I'd see an [Aragami] that could communicate as an equal with us..."
"The [Aragami] are not as simple as they think" - replied Cloud while shaking his head - "They have the ability to communicate just like us, it's just that their language is incomprehensible to humans."
". . ." - the expression of the [God Eater] changed to a serious one when they heard this.
"I'll explain more about the [Aragami] later." - Cloud said as he looked at members of the [First Unit] with his huge red eyes - "For now let's talk about something much more serious..."
"Such as how you can return to normal?" - Tatenashi asked while raising an eyebrow.
". . ." - Cloud fell silent when he heard this, only to shake his head - "No, I was referring to what little I managed to find out..."
"I don't think that's as important as your situation, Cloud," Houki said seriously.
Cloud let out an annoyed sigh as he looked at Houki, Tatenashi and the others - "Seriously, you're a bit more stubborn than I remember, Houki."
"We just want you to come back with us" - Sakuya said as she folded her arms.
Cloud sighed when he heard this before shaking his head - "Ok, I'll tell them... there's a way to get back to normal in just a matter of seconds..."
The girls squealed in happiness, but the boys just frowned.
"What's wrong guys?" - Sakuya asked as she noticed the expression of the males in the group.
"There's always a "but" when there are such good answers" - said Lindow seriously as he looked at the huge silver dragon - "What do you have to do to make it?"
". . ." - Cloud was silent for a few seconds before growling - "I have to put my humanity aside..."
"?" - those present frowned when they heard this because honestly the former blond didn't seem 'human' right now.
"I mean I have to stop considering myself human completely" - Cloud replied as he looked at those present - "In other words, I have to follow my instincts and..."
Cloud couldn't continue because he didn't want those present to stop seeing him as he was before, only to notice how Lindow's eyes widened in surprise.
"I see... you have to devour" - Lindow replied as he narrowed his eyes - "You have to consume humans..."
"!" - the girls' eyes widened in surprise as Soma narrowed her eyes.
"Exactly..." - Cloud replied as he shook his head - "You see, my species is one that consumes living beings in order to continue evolving."
"And you need to consume humans in order to regain your old form..." - Lindow muttered as he started to think - "It makes sense, if you bring it up like that, I also understand the crossroads you're at..."
He wouldn't know how to react if he was in the blond's situation either, after all, on one hand there was the option of regaining his humanity and being able to return to his loved ones, but at the cost of losing the last thing that makes him human. On the other hand, it was to stay in that monstrous form for no one knows how much longer.
A deep silence pervaded the place as everyone looked at Cloud.

Cloud was beginning to feel himself losing his sanity because his instinct to devour was increasing with every second.
"Why don't you just do it?" - Lindow asked as he cocked his head to one side.
"Are you even listening to what you're saying, Lindow-san!" - Sophia exclaimed as her eyes widened in terror at her leader's words - "We're talking about human lives!"
"I'll be honest with you, I don't give a shit" - replied Lindow seriously as he looked at his new group member - "Strangers don't compare to my best friend, more so when he's saved my ass so many times during all my years of service!"
Soma's expression relaxed slightly before he nodded at his leader's words, though he wouldn't say it out loud.
"But..." - Sofia said because Cloud's situation was too complicated.
"How many people do you have to devour?" - Sakuya asked as her eyes widened in surprise because she never thought she would say something like this. Cannibalism was something she never thought she would witness, but if it was for Cloud.
"They're taking it better than I thought..." - Cloud said as he frowned.
"Let's just say your current appearance makes it a little easier to accept things," said Tsubaki. She just like the others, felt a bit disgusted with the idea of his beloved devouring humans, but the monstrous appearance he had, made his way of thinking very different from what would normally happen - "Question, how many people do you have to devour and what will happen after you do it?"
This question brought a new wave of ideas to those present. If Cloud had to continue devouring humans to survive, then the situation would change for the worse and they would have nothing else to do but stop the former blond.
"I'm not really sure, but after that, I don't think I have any need to continue eating humans," Cloud said as he frowned, "After all, the craving for devouring doesn't need to be satiated by human flesh.
". . ." - those present looked at each other before nodding.
Sofia frowned, but after hearing this she relaxed a little. She still felt horrible at the idea of the former blond devouring human flesh, but he wasn't human, so her common sense shouldn't affect her, though that didn't mean she was happy for something like that to happen, more so when she was aware of the situation.
"Can you at least tell us how many humans you need to devour?" - Lindow asked as he felt a little ridiculous because it seemed as if everything was in control despite how out of control the former blond's situation was.
Cloud looked at the small screen in his vision, only to frown.
"20 [God Eater] Rank Captain..." - Cloud muttered as he frowned in irritation - "But if it makes them feel any better, I also need to devour 10 [Aragami] Rank A, 1 more [Deusphages] and 2 [Ashborn]..."
Those present gave the silver dragon a blank look because they were not expecting those words.
"20 [God Eater] rank Captain..." - Sophia muttered with a frown because they were the hope of humanity, though her expression relaxed slightly when she heard the continuation of the former blonde's words.
