Eva's POV

I聽don't聽want to mark her.

Logan's sentence kept echoing inside my head as I ran upstairs. I know that I'm overreacting but for some reason, I felt unwanted when I heard Logan say that.

I know that werewolves die to mark their mates once they meet them and the urge is even stronger for alphas, so why doesn't Logan want to mark me?

"Eva!" A familiar voice called my name but I continued running. I couldn't let him see me like that. I probably look pathetic. I just need time to calm down and I'll be fine.

"Eva!" This time it was closer and the next thing I know, I'm being lifted off my feet and carried princess style. I quickly placed my hands over my eyes, trying to cover them.

"I-I'm s-sorry, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-" My words were cut short by Logan's shushing.

"Sshh. Shh. Hey calm down." He coed gently. I felt him walking then sit down and place me on his lap. I had my eyes closed so I didn't know where we were.
