Around him is happy people and they are enjoying the club scene. He watches them as they dance and laugh and is in love. His team is chatting and laughing and enjoying every moment. They are relieved because they have succeeded in their mission. He wants to be part of that happy people but he can not help to frown at the message that he got back from you.

Why would you say not to come to you? He quickly sends you a message back.

"I do not understand? Why should I not come?"

He waits in uncertainty for your message back but he gets no message back. He can not help as his heart starts to fill with some kind of sorrow. He does not like this turmoil that is happening in his heart one bit. He has never felt anything like that before with any woman that he has been involved with.
