Having found that upon forming the mana into a set element, it was far more stable. Its absorption was also slowed, the mana that entered would be converted to the same element as that of the vortex. 

The struggle was still great but with hope, Eldrian persevered on. In just a few minutes the second vortex calmed. Already the pressure on him greatly calmed, yet now it was no longer balanced. As such, he quickly moved to an opposite vortex to recreate balance in his body. 

Seeing that the vortex of mana surrounding Eldrian was calming, Myropsis sighed in relief but also grew worried. She turned to the three monsters who were still waiting. Realizing that they would soon act.
